Playground is very popular with young children, well-maintained and adjacent to play fields and open green area on the other side of Vicente Street, its eastern side is next to 19th Avenue which is probably the busiest street in the city, given the neighborhood it is located in it is surprisingly uncrowded on weekdays. Has clean bathrooms and water fountain is also available, 28bus stops right next to the playground and its just one block away from beautiful Stern Grove to the south
Easy to get to. Soccer and baseball fields. Tennis court.
Tennis courts need resurfacing pretty badly, would love if they did more with the park.
Fun place to bring your kids and play
Great parking spots in the aves for a quick lunch break
Its a fun place but no swings or equipment for toddlers or younger. No fencing, so you really have to watch the kiddos since its on 19th (a super busy street). Good places to sit, interesting play equipment.
Pretty empty, kids loved it, ground was bouncy, clean, graffiti and litter free, water fountain. Well maintained.
Nice small playground; great for littles but gets pretty crowded.
Nice little park for younger children. Bathroom on site, of which was very clean. Street parking is available, may need to walk a block but not much.
Was a nice exploration for my 2 yr old
It was raining the day we were here, but the kids still had tons of fun! They loved the airplane structure and the climbing rope. the addition of a grassy area and bathrooms, makes it a great choice.
Big shady trees on a hot day!Basketball, tennis and playground... public restrooms!
Great redo of a classic Sunset/Parkside playground adjacent to the soccer fields, baseball field, and Sava Pool.
Clean public restroom
Great place for family gatherings and play.
Soft floor and a cool spaceship jet thing
Nice playground with nice bathrooms with soap and a baby changing station! Even in the mens bathroom!
Good
I just went there to play catch with family, its calm and refreshing.
Fun to watch baseball games here. the park is fun for little ones. The bathrooms are clean. But very windy
Our place to rest stop before heading to our concert venue
Good place to play, and very close to indoor pool
Newly renovated playground in a convenient location. This is a small, but nicely designed playground near a busy intersection. The target age is 2-5, but bigger kids will also enjoy the structures. It is adjacent a larger park area with tennis and an open field for sports. There is ample parking in the error, so this is a great place to come if youre on near 19th Avenue and you want your kids to use up some energy for 30 minutes.
Its a great playground with an open space.
Love love this playground with my 4yr old son. We dont live in SF but we have family there so whenever we come visit, this is one of our must-stops. My sons imagination flourishes each time were here - we even got to see a snail up close at this park too one time. Havent had a problem with street parking here either - lots of options. Thumbs up!
Dont go after school let out. To many kids. Older kids.
Clean, neat, well-maintained!
Fun airport theme. Tennis and basketball options. Clean restroom. Ball fields. The airplane is cool, but not as authentic as the original. Lots of traffic noise.
Great place for kids to run around, explore and imagine theyre flying a fighter plane! Restrooms nearby.
Small airplane-themed playground. Best for little kids. No swings. Theres a basketball and tennis court nearby.
Great location with park, field and library
Nice place highly recommended
Good playground
Basketball and tennis court available. Includes a small field that doubles as a baseball field. Well kept, but noise is constant being along a busy road in 19th Avenue.
Love little park off 19th ave.fly ball play skateboarding
Great place. Lots of room.
Recently updated playground. Its small and windy at times, but still fun for the kids for an hour or so.
Great place for kids
Reopened November 2015 as an airport themed playground. One play structure is a jet, complete with turbulence, while the other is SFO with a check-in desk and pile of luggage to climb on. Both structures are metal, rope, and plastic over a cushy rubber base. The park is next to busy and trafficky 19th avenue, and while it didnt have a fence, it is sunk down a few feet, which gets rid of most of the worry of little kids running off. A tennis and basketball court, baseball field, giant tree for climbing, and restrooms are also adjacent.
Great structures for toddlers and young kids!
Nice kids play area..
It is a really nice park
Cute little playground with ample parking and clean restrooms.
Played baseball w/ 3 yr old grandson

I miss the old plane but at least they have a new one
Playground built in 2016. Includes an airport terminal and jet plane to climb on.
