Great place to do soccer training or playing soccer. There are soccer leagues on Sundays so playing at the field might not be possible.

Field always has some space to play. Turf. Bathrooms are available to use. Lots of others walking around to get exercise. Good for my sons and me to go on their scooters and me on blades.

Amazing field and decent facility, but parking is no joke. If you have an event or game, show up 45 min early so you can park far away or better yet try to take a ride share here from some other parking area.

Nice park with place for soccor, basketball and playground. There is also recreation center. Parking is hard to find though.

This Park encompasses a huge soccer field as well as a recreation center, basketball courts, Childrens playgrounds etc. Its a very welcoming park for the entire family or if you just want to get away and spend some time alone.

I like that theres always people there! Its very community based. Its nice to watch the soccer players practice while I can walk my dog around the paths. We run around the turf and play frisbee where no one else is using at night and it stays lit until 9 most nights. Definitely lucky we moved close by. Im so glad the center has so much to offer.

Great zumba classes and instructors! Wonderful, welcoming community.

Great community park for everyone of all ages. Soccer, tennis, basketball, playground, gardening, and various classes and events at the center. A great place to take a walk and enjoy the day.

Excellent turf fields and gym facilities. Difficult parking but so is most of SF!

The fields are new and great (5 stars). What is not so great is parking - it is almost impossible to find parking. So you have to park far away or spent time circling around forever. There is a lot of drugs in this neighborhood. Kids smoking pots in the bushes. And neighbors asking if you want to buy stuff (all this only gets 0 star)

We havent used the Rec Center, but the playground and the soccer fields are so much fun! The big slide is a huge plus!

I grew up when this park was called Ocean View. The gym floor was red inside of the dome shaped building. Im glad to see the land wasnt sold to some land developer to make condosA part of history is still around for those of us who remember O.V.(The Good, The Bad & The Ugly).is still around.

Big open space. Parking sucks. The turf is weird, almost like a carpet. It plays very fast and I could see kids having a hard time if they practice there continually and dont ever get in practice on grass.

Love that theres a clean, safe, and local playground for my kids to go to.

Great facility! Tiny Tots program, weekly librarian visits with story time for kiddos, weight/exercise room, indoor B-Ball court, recently renovated fields, and a playground built with 2 areas for kids aged 0-12.This facility also has amazing staff so dont be shy to stop by and ask a few questions. They also run a food bank on Tuesday mornings.

Great sports field and gym complex for children.

I live right next door to the park and /rec center its so nice and warm and cozy and beautiful and fun to run play sports or hang out with family and friends or girlfriend .

Yummy turf if you dont fall. Fresh lines, elevated pitch and not too fast. Cant wait to play here again!

Nice large turf fields, but horrible street parking (notorious SF problem)

Nice place for a visiting soccer game, but parking is challenging. It has working, clean bathrooms that are open even on weekends. Fields are artificial in very good condition.

Newly renovated Rec center takes up a full city block. Four artificial turf soccer fields are the biggest feature. The Rec Center building has a courtyard with basketball nets, restrooms, kitchens, and multipurpose rooms. The playground has a rubber base one small play structure, and 1 medium sized play structure, along with a lot of picnic tables and benches.

Located in the Ocean View area in San Francisco, The Minnie & Lovie Recreational Center is Just one block away from our house. I has a nice Little Park and a Huge Synthetic Turf Playground which my Son loves a lot.

The field is fine, but there is absolutely no parking here. Be prepared to have to scan for blocks around too find parallel parking

The recration center is a big space. Around residents usually went to here enjoy their time and do some exercise. But the parking is a serious problem.

Many FREE activities for youth and elderly as well.

Born in S.F raised in this very neighborhood...this PARK has come full circle millions of city dollars well spent on all new renovations...too much to list....btw if you live in the neighborhood, you may want to walk,there no off street parking but it worked for MsMinnie and MrLovie Ward & there children as well as me and my children...(same last name no relation though)

The gym room is the best

Its a fun park but at about 6:00 it starts filling up with soccer players,even on the baseball fields!I was and still ammad because Im a kid and theres a plaque that says a plae to play for all kids.HA!The field used to be verycrummy but its very good now

The fields are ok - but the parking is ATROCIOUS.

Great for Soccer, and a Recreation Center for bathroom, tables, ping pong, and etc. Playground too.

There is only street parking parking and it can be horrible, but you can usually find a spot after circling a few times. Well kept soccer fields and cool little gym for futsal.

Dont bother putting kids in these programs. The staff that works here doesnt know how to work with kids. they bring low class staff workers here that talk down to kids and intimidate the kids. They cuss kids out and speak slang to them and the director stand behind them. They should fire all staff.
