I have never stepped foot in this place nor will I ever after today.Walking back from the library I stopped and sat down on their step to rest for a couple of minutes as I was recently discovered from hospital after six months and have severe pain when walking. A lady came out and shot lasers out of her eyes at us, but didnt say anything. Finally, because of her odd and slightly psychotic behavior, I was prompted to say is there a problem with me sitting here, Im just resting for a second I just got out of the hospital. The lady for the first time finally spoke she said well actually, yes this is a problem. My supervisor is here sitting at that desk back there and he wouldnt want you to sit here even resting for a couple of minutes.I was so baffled buy her unexpected response that all my mouth could manage was, well, I would expect this treatment from a lot of places in the city by a lot of people, but I wouldnt expect it from a city parks and recreation employee. These places are built for People Like Us to utilize...residents of San Francisco!she said nothing simply stood there shooting lasers at our backside until he walked away. I dont know this doesnt seem like a very friendly place to me.

Love the staff here the are awesome...my kids love going to the Rec and Park

Rec center had a nice gym with one court, ping pong table, and meeting rooms. There are several drop in programs (sports, gardening, art, games) for kids of different ages Tuesday through Friday.
