Nice boutique art gallery that rotates exhibits often. Visited during the totoro gallery, good variety of artists.

I admire what they are trying to do -- give local contemporary artists a voice in the SF art scene, but the paucity of work on display bemoans a failure in the mission. I do not know why so little work was available for viewing, but an adventurous gallery can always find innovative and enticing art works. Perhaps I visited on an off week or month, but five minutes was enough to view all they had to offer.

Spoke is worth the visit! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and the gallery consistently presents outstanding artists from near and far. The shows are well-curated and fun, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

Great gallery when looking for something just outside the usual art

This small gallery brings some really nice comic book/anime related art work. This gallery is small but makes great use of their space. I suggest going early on opening night of a show. The line went around the corner the night I went.

Spoke Art is one of my favorite art galleries in the city. There are many fantastic art exhibits ranging from their popular Wes Anderson Tribute to one completely devoted on the cat Lil Bub. The gallery usually carries a large collection of prints from these shows and features a great online store for people out-of-state to order from.If you want to see some great pop culture art, look no further than Spoke-Art!

Very Bad Neighbors!They are giving away posters on April 7th, 2018, and apparently this attracted a bunch of hippies, who camped out, blocked buildings with their tents, and smoked pot which leaked into nearby windows. They only cared to post signs explaining this occurrence on April 6th, before which the police were called on them numerous times. Please post more signs next time explaining why these vagrants are on my block!

If youre into comics and movies, youre gonna enjoy this place. Its tiny and only have a couple of artworks, but the context of each one is really exciting.

Ken and Jess always doing a fantastic job for the art of the city. Its a must go in SF.

The immense line for the opening of the Stanley Kubrick show augers well for Spoke Arts Sutter Street location. To complete your visit, theres a pleasant cafe on the corner and the Hashimoto contemporary gallery in between.
