Beautiful Yacht Club. Great setting on the bay. Friendly Staff and members.

I just had a wonderful dinner engagement for work at this club; the service was great and the food was outstanding. Everyone of my colleagues and Customers felt that the ambiance, food and service was top notch. The club has a wonderful view of the inside bay of Shelter Island, and another out towards the harbor. The setting is casual and the members were very welcoming to my guests. It was a wonderful experience. For the food we got, the price was excellent. This is a great place to go, especially for an event. You do have to have a sponsor if you are not a member, but the front office works that out for you. No reasonable event gets turned done. Ask for Celeste or Jill; they will work you through the process.

Lovely venue. The restrooms are 5 star like a nice hotel. Banquet food is ok. Nice location.

Visited while under construction. I completed the 2013 Schooner Cup and enjoyed the after party offered by Silver Gate Yacht Club. All proceeds benefited the Navy and Marine Corps Relief Society. They had a well manned tap and the new facilities will be top notch. Their hospitality was great.

We joined this yacht club after meeting some of the wonderful people that are members. The building is brand new and beautiful. They have new docks, a new bar and galley, and the staff is friendly and accommodating.SGYC has the best view from any yacht cub in San Diego, and the location is easy and central if you are a Point Loma resident.

We attended Gail Dvaies party on Saturday night. Everything was very special from the table settings and the food to the delightful servers..ours was Point Loma native, Ashley, and she was a fine representative for your friendly club.
