Carole and Sail Jada are the absolute best! We chartered Jada for a sunset sail for a group of 20 the night before our wedding. The boat is beautiful, the crew are kind and professional, and the appetizers are delicious. Carole went above and beyond, taking amazing pictures of our group and making sure everyone felt comfortable and was having fun. Theres something special about sailing on a classic yacht like Jada, I highly recommend you treat yourself and your group to a sail on the finest boat in San Diego.

I did my bachelorette party, my husbands 40th, and my dads burial service on this charter. I keep coming back because it is so fun and professional. Carole and the staff really take care of you on the boat. They have plenty of snacks, unlimited drinks (wine and beer too), and blankets to keep you warm. If you want to experience San Diego views, the San Diego way, I would recommend this charter.

I truly cant thank the Jada crew and Carole enough for the amazing way in which they accommodated us for a family members burial at sea. Carole kindly went out of her way to graciously arrange all of the details and logistics during a very difficult time. Her professionalism and organization made the experience so smooth and relieved us of so much stress. The day was absolutely perfect and so meaningful to all of us.

I talked to other charter companies before making the decision who to choose for my wifes sea burial -scattering of her ashes on San Diego Bay. I chose Sail JADA Charters and spoke with Carole, she was very helpful and knowledgeable, she explained all the process, made recommendations and answer all my questions. The day of the Sea Burial for my wife Sophia was on July 11, 2020 and all the family and close friends were very pleased with the outcome of the gathering and the sea burial funeral. I highly recommend Sail Jada Charters; Carole and her staff are very nice people, very helful thru out the entire event. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH for a FANTASTIC day on the bay!Carole... You run a tight ship, have great crew, and are doing a really good job with COVID-19 distancing while onboard. I feel very safe being outdoors, and yet I really do appreciated the new assigned seating protocol, to keep our family groups separated by six feet. Thaaanks.This was my 4th time onboard JADA, and find a day of sailing with you all to be such a fun & relaxing change of pace. Definitely a must do in San Diego! Top Notch. I wouldnt think twice about bringing family and friends to enjoy a day like this again and again. Carole and her crew were absolutely wonderful, she even had a naturist to show us all there was to see and enjoy !! Very personable. She was eager to get us the best whale watching experience possible. She continued to make sure we were comfortable and fed as we sailed the ocean. The Jada is a beautiful historical vessel.Thank you very much for the great trip, you guys did an amazing job, we enjoyed the tour very much!highly recommend!!

Amazing day spent sailing on Jada a beautiful boat built in 1938as told by the owner Carol,the crew was also very courteous and helpful.I would highly recommend for any occasion,its never a bad day in Americas Finest City!

My family had such a wonderful, peaceful, and memorable experience spreading my fathers ashes thanks to the kind and friendly staff. Carole was amazing coordinating with my mom who was having a bit of a tough time organizing the service. She gave my mom all the needed information for our guests and spoke with her several times before hand to make sure everything went smoothly. The crew was there to help and were so incredibly friendly. They even had a bluetooth speaker for us to use to play music and served us while aboard. Carole even recommended some nice local dinner spots as we were not local. Overall they were extremely accommodating and things could not have gone better to honor my fathers wishes. When I thanked carole for her kindness she told me that weddings and funerals are two ceremonies that people remember for years to come so it was important to her to make sure that our experience was something to remember. I was very touched to say the least.

I have been on this beautifully restored boat for a number of sails, both private and public, and have always had a great time; that’s saying a lot for someone who was never crazy about sailing! But Carole, and her crew have made a convert of me. They are the perfect hosts for a smooth, safe sail around the harbor, all the while serving yummy refreshments, sharing their knowledge of San Diego Bay and landmarks, and making us all feel so at home. I highly recommend this for a wonderful sailing experience.

Had a fabulous time on the Jada celebrating my 60th birthday with a costumed Pirate Party! It turned out to be a beautiful day for sailing, and many of my 24 swashbuckling guests all said it was the most fun birthday party they ever attended! The captain and crew were very accommodating in every way, from giving us the safety talk, to serving refreshments, to making sure everyone was safe on board while we were having fun sailing. I couldnt have wished for a better way to celebrate this milestone birthday, proving that, at any age, were all still kids at heart! It was just the perfect day in every way!

What an awesome ride! Everyone was so friendly and the view was great! It was a little bit of energy to navigate to the back of the hotel, but there is tons of parking and really pretty easy to find your way. It is definitely worth it! The marina was so pretty and the boat was great.

Took my corporate team out for a sail on the Jada and I cant say enough good about it! The crew is wonderful. The boat is beautiful and wonderfully maintained. So many things to see while sailing San Diego harbor. The crew was patient with some members of my group straggling in a half hour late and still took us on the full cruise. No ones hands were ever empty of a drink or of snacks as the smiling crew circulated the entire cruise making sure everyone was taken care of. They could easily have slacked off on our larger-than-average group, but they absolutely made certain the entire team had a great time. Highest recommendation.Since I originally wrote this, we took another sail with my group and had an even better experience. Beyond the excellent crew and beautiful ship, we got to see Navy SEALs practicing helicopter jumps into the bay, sailed under the Coronado Bridge, and dozens of other things. Our group all returned with happy faces!

If you want to have an unbelievable experience then sail The Jada, there is nothing like it. I have sailed all different times of the year and it is always a fantastic experience. Whether you are a local who wants to have a wonderful, relaxing experience or have family and friends from out of town where you want to show off San Diego, sailing the Jada is a winner!!!

Went on JADA a few months ago and it was AMAZING. If you like to the ocean and boats this is a must in San Diego. The ship provides great view of downtown and the bay. Being that JADA is the only classic wooden yacht available for charter in San Diego, you wont find anything like it.
