We love this place. We often play tennis here, grab a meal and drink with family and friends. Very friendly staff and members are nice, considerate, and friendly. Its not a stuffy kind of club.

We were invited to the club as part of the military appreciation event they hold and we couldnt have loved the time we spent there any more than we did! The clubs decor is high class, the cruise was relaxing and fun (thanks Captain Rags of the Rhumb Punch!), the food was fantastic but it was the people we met that made the experience! They were so very friendly (we just loved Ruth!) and genuine and made our experience overall a five star experience!

What a great spot. The Sand Dabs almost melted in our mouth. The food was amazing. Jayna was our server and I can honestly say she had the best personality and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Couldnt have asked for more.

Great ambiance and camaraderie but, parking can be tight! Best on Sunny Windy days, plan accordingly.

Beautiful, just went to a holiday party here! Amazing views, GORGEOUS decor, the food and drinks and service were spectacular! Fast, friendly, and very attentive! Will definitely come again!

We had our 40th high school reunion here and it was amazing. Very comfortable and casual and I loved that it was outside. I believe that they were very accommodating to our organizer as well because our group kept growing. Perfect night!

Great food and service during an all day meeting.

We went to the yacht club on Wednesday night for their barbecue tonight. $19. Me to Cody tri-tip, sausage, pork ribs, chicken, and fish. About four different kinds of salads available Plus chips and beans Etc. You get 12 oz of meat that you can split up as many ways as you want between the menu.

A beautiful welcoming place to be! The food was excellent, our wonderful server Julie suggested a fresh sea bass for lunch and we were so pleased! We cant wait to visit again!

The San Diego Yacht club is a fantastic organization whose members have a long standing support of military members and their families in San Diego. I highly recommend becoming a member and joining an organization who has a long history in our San Diego community.

We were there for a short vocal performance for a dear ladys birthday party.The staff was very helpful in dealing with logistic problems and made us feel welcome and comfortable.A beautiful bayside facility...

The San Diego Yacht Club is an old time part of San Diego history. The graciousness of its members to the other yacht clubs and to all folks in San Diego is special. Because of its name it leads the way to give San Diego a positive encounter with all other Yacht Clubs and folks in general globally.

We had a fun dinner cruise on the Admiral Hornblower. Good food and drinks. It was fun to guess some of the ships in the Navy fleet and watch the helicopters.

Grew up here sailing swimming fishing from the docks.

Best yacht club in San Diego. They have the best sailing team in the nation currently. The pool and hot tub are in fine condition and the food is delicious but a little pricey. I usually get a burger and fries. The bathrooms are in the utmost quality as well.

We are DPYC members that live in Tucson and have a sailboat in San Diego. (Its a long story.)Over the past several years weve visited SDYC many times for dinner after coming off the water, tired and thirsty. Great food, service and views. Plus were always been made to feel very welcome.

Its beautiful, they have excellent food and its always fun to walk along the docks and look at the boats, the harbor is amazing there is a waiting list if you want to have a boat slip I understand you might wait 10 years.

Great location and a magnificent building. We received a good welcome as reciprocal club members and the maitred found a prime window location to seat us.Drinks were very reasonably priced, maybe a third of what we paid at the Hotel del Coronado earlier in the day. The menu was large enough for almost any need and competitive with any good restaurant. Drinks and food were served promptly and servi e wa immaculate.

Pickleball courts pool spa and restaurant...but you need to be,or go with, a member. Nice lunch looking out over the boats

Nice venue right on the point loma bay. We had a succesful company xmas party. I definitely recommend.

Went Sailing on the bay with Our Friends whom have Their Sail boat docked here. We returned at Sunset & went to the Club for dinner. It was Western Night, the meals were all BBQD & Smoked Fish outside. The food was cold. Tri Tip, Hot Sausage (spicy), Ribs. Hamburger and Hotdogs were available on request. There was plenty of tomatoes, lettuce,onion to put on a hamburger but All the other side dishes were wilted or warm salads of 3 types. It was quite a disappointment to Myself n Husband. Our Friends whom are Members were very apologetic about the food. Theyd said that many changes to the Club were not for the better and mentioned how its encouraged by the Club to entertain there as it was a part of the fees paid. But, after many years They rarely ever saw anyone They knew because most were not happy with the Club & didnt bring Their guests there to dine. With the food being cold especially the meat, I cant give more than 2 Stars for Our 1st experience. I hope it improves as We really enjoyed going Sailing.

So many boats. Bloody mary is small, but very good. Extra old fashion was smoooooth and delicious. Calamari is big and delicious.

I love this place for food, wine, and family time.

There were good walking areas outside the facility, the staff was very nice and accomodating. The jacuzzi had young kids in it after the posted allowable times and security didnt enforce the rules.
