Best part in SD, crowded on the weekends but she and friendly for all ages and levels. Just respect the rules and the locals and youll have the time off your life!
This park literally has every feature you could think of, it has awesome flow, rails, ledges, bowls and more.
Top of the line park however incredibly crowded most of the time.
Nice! Some seating scattered around. Theres a cool bridge that overlooks either side of the skate park. Restrooms available at rec center. Lots of adults & kids riding around with their scooters & boards. Parking is spred out & available. Gets a little bit more crowded when the nearby schools let out too. Great place to be at instead of random places doing who knows what.
Amazing park I am so proud of the LV boy for pushing this to happen I was part of the crew way back in the days moved away now at 44 life has come full circle love the park my body cant take the falls as well but amazing really amazing might want to get some security though lots of bullies and this is about the kids.
My son and his friend had a blast at this skate park! Scooters, Skaters, Skateboarders are all welcome. No attitude and no bullies when we were there. We even got to watch a competition for advanced to pro scooter riders, in the bowl. Lots of fun!
No place on earth like it. Unbelievable layout and all sorts of features to apply to a variety of skaters. Architecturally, the park is gorgeous. Even if you’re not an extreme sports athlete it’s worth a walk through just to take a look!
One of the best outdoor skate parks Ive seen. Pretty big too.
Best skatepark hands down. Im a local now and this skatepark is truly a dream come true. Everyone here is cool and atmosphere is awesome. You have EVERYTHING you need here to skate and progress no matter what level you are at skateboarding. So THANKFUL to the city of San Diego and everyone involved in this project to make it a reality️
Very impressive I cant believe how much its grown
My favorite skatepark in san diego!
It was nice n clean. Skate park was really busy n the tennis courts. Nice place to take the kids.
Awesome park but its usually way too crowded to fully enjoy. Also, there are a lot of people regularly there not skating and just sitting on ledges, sliding in the pool, etc. A few days ago I even saw someone ride a shopping cart into the snake run, and yes they did cut off several skaters. All the same, its some of the most well-rounded skating youll find from a beginner to intermediate level.
A great way to keep kids busy after school. Fresh air exercise all in one.
Hands down ... The best outdoor skate facility in San Diego. If not in So Cal.
Love this place! I went while on vacation to San Diego and didn’t want to leave. Absolutely one of the best skateparks I have been to. Good job whom ever designed it and kudos to the people that skate here as there is no garbage nor graffiti.
Dude its so sick! Theres some hardcore bowls and a loop over a big bowl. There are also some cool smaller stuff for skating around. You can get going pretty fast. I like how there are cool gaps and good ramps! Overall, this skate park is super lit and has awesome stuff for everyone.
My place to just chill. Everyone is welcome. Everyone brings Respect to this place. Fun for all ages.
If you didn’t rate 5 stars go to another skatepark and don’t come back, we don’t want you lol
Awesome skatepark.
Good intermediate park. Nice flow, transitions, and cool bowls. Good for every sport, but Im not sure if bikes are allowed. Be sure to be there early. It gets crowded around the afternoon no matter what day it Id.
Its radical! Super fun!
My husband had a great time skating but man if you go on a hot day watch out!!! No shade whatsoever!!!
Fun park.
What an amazing skatepark! The flow is wonderful, some amazing transition and some really cool locals. Everyone I met was very nice and welcoming even though I’m not the best skater. Highly recommend!
This place is really amazing.
Great for beginners too.
This a a part of the park complex. It has good view with trees and shades. Good for relaxation.
I truly like that skate park but to many moms just bring there 5 and 6 years olds to jump around and get in peoples way and we are all trying to skate not babysit your dang kids people
Great features in the larger park. Friendly toward non locals.
If you are any type of skater worth checking. All age groups were co mingling form pretty young kids to Tony hawk middle agers. Boys and Girls.
They need to fix the playground only then i will give a 5 star
Awesome skate park with lots of options for skaters.
Good tennis courts. Skating is a big thing there. Nice park overall. Coming back.
Great skate park with tons of drop in and rails with good routes to get the most out of your ride
Park closes at 9 but they closed the bathrooms at 5:48....horrible!!!!
Its nice and fun and goood for kids
Awesome skatepark! Went to see the free contest which fat people from all over the country. It was absolutely amazing and these kids are so talented. Park is beautiful surrounding area is not. The facilities are sweet and the fundraising food they had set up was really cheap. Very impressed.
Awesome skatepark, just go early in the morning, or some time where it isnt super crowded cause it does get to be like that a lot, but really really fun
Best skate park in San Diego
Super fun layed out well 3 different shape bowls or pools and lots of space for the street stuff I just pumped the pools for 30 min strait no one else in them lots of space and fun park
IT WAS THE BEST PLACE EVER . I like this place cause its fun to go to with friends and hang out it great nothing wrong or bad its 1st of all parks to me I feel like Im family with everyone their .
Awesome public skateboard park! Two bowls, street plaza, park and full pipe!
Not into fantasy skate parks, small pools do nothing for me . The big open pool is not fuctionable. Nice try
One of the best skateparks Ive ever been to (and Ive skated all up and down the I-5 corridor, Seattle to San Diego.) A must see for any dedicated skater. There are many innovative features to challenge every style and skill level. The transitions are even, the concrete is smooth and the coping is set just right . Theres an old school pool and a 6 foot shallow end to 8 foot deep end rectangular bowl with metal coping. But the oddities are what make this park a true five star master piece. The 20 foot full pipe run/bowl has endless lines to cut and the mid size flow bowl has to be the most interesting thing Ive ever skated, its a park unto itself. The locals are amongst the finest around both as skaters and as people. I saw some first class riding while there. Everybody was friendly and there was no teasing the lesser skilled. The parks one tiny flaw is the wood chips from the surrounding landscape find their way into the skatepark and leaves and trash get trapped in the full pipe.Even if you live in New Zealand you must visit this park at least once in your life.
Reminds me of 1986
This place has a variety of section of proper flowing concrete waves. Street sections, multiple bowls and even a full pipe. The park is full of small learners all the way up to your local pros. Great place to shred your time
Amazing layout. Endless lines and awesome bowls!
Nice park. Good for all skill levels.
Awesome skate park with all the amenities
One of the best skateparks weve seen. Top notch!
They did an outstanding job on this skatepark, it is one of the best in the nation. And most of all it is in the heart of San Diego Linda Vista my hometown and I am so proud.
Large skate park with a great variety of skating set ups. Nicely layout for viewing too.
This I a great park my local would recommend to go and skate it or ride a scooter there it is also more street oriented
One of the best skateparks in San Diego. Also a skateshop down the street. Slappys Garage.
Best and biggest skatepark i’ve ever been to with lots of things to do
Every time I go there, Im alwayd encouraged by so many awesome skaters to try new things everyday. There are some professional skaters that go there as well sometimes.
Excellent place. Good vibes
Nice park to walk around
This I one of the most creative designs for a skatepark that I have ever seen. Went on a Saturday, plenty of kids skating even though it was locked, everyone was just hopping the fence to get in. Huge bowls. Massive vert. Low bars and ledges. Pretty even ratio of street and vert. Will definitely be coming back soon with the homies.
Great park! So many different bowl and transitions. Yet to be fully discovered...
Top 5 park in the west coast !
One of the best in San Diego
If you love to skate youll definitely love this place beginner to expert runs for all types of skating love it
Nice place makes me feel like a kid wish we had one in Hesperia, California
This place has a lot of homeless people.
One of the best skatepark I ever skated...
Linda Vista skatepark is amazing, there are BMX pros, pro scooter riders, and pro skateboarders, this is an amazing park, but very crowded.
Its fun if you love to mow down little scooter kids, but on the real shot is dope asf
Went to AA meeting at recenter 12 noon
Great skatepark although crowded a bit
This park is amazing and I cant wait for the lights to be up. I would suggest this park to a transition skater or a street skater.
So much going on here & in a compacted space, that it’s overwhelming.Rolled around for a bit, got bummed on the whole setup & the vibing locals that I bailed.I’m old, I can’t hang w the Olympic level training grounds.
Great place to take the kids not a whole lot of parking though
Good for family activities or just play tennis with friends.
Watch an amateur skate competition today. Pretty rad.
Lots of space and nice community.
Place is awesome
Awesome skate park, its huge and so many different types of obstacles for any and every type of skater
My son said it was really nice, super fun and cool. There were some kids that tried to pick a fight with my sons friend and the neighborhood is a little suspect.
This skatepark has made this parked a lot more of a attraction were getting a lot more people from out of town coming over here and using the skate part and is made a very nice enhancement to the park and come down and check it out for yourself
Its overall lookin like a great park and cant wait to skate it
One of the best skateparks in the world.
So I spoke to Danielle of Parks and Recreation for Linda Vista and she told me as of December 20, 2017 Linda Vista is closed. They’re reopening will happen sometime in January or February and anyone who is skating there now it’s trespassing she said. This is just an FYI for everyone. She cannot change the Google hours since it’s controlled by San Diego County.(it’s not that hard Google manager for SD to change the hours) So any moms wanting to drive their kids out to Linda Vista should wait until further notice. She also said to check out San Diego parks and recreation.gov to look at the latest on the skate park opening .
Great park. Safe for kids and oarents.
So fun for kids of all ages!
Huge park, lots of fun. Big obstacles, not for beginners.
Grand opening 1/16/18. Open 9am - 9pm
