Love skating here but hate the hours...they dont open until the heat of the day sets in and they close right before it starts to cool down. They were even late to open last time I tried to show up in the morning. If they could install some lights and stay open later or open much earlier Id give five stars for sure.

My Little one is taking lessons there weekly though community center. The park has lots of cracks, repair is much needed. Not sure about weekdays, but gets really busy during weekend mornings.

It’s great and has a variety of ramps. There is a bowl with a lot of transition opportunities. Hips, quarter pipes, rails, etc.

One of the better skateparks in San Diego, lots of variety, big space, and balanced for all skill levels. The only down side is it gets really crowded, and there isnt much for food and drink near by.

Is skating still considered cool by kids? Im surprised skate park real estate hasnt been repurposed by now. The few skaters I see anymore use the modern version, shopping malls, but as the video game versions improve, that may decrease too. Skateboards seem to be used proxy torpedos to be rolled out into traffic more often than as transportation toys these days.

A place where skateboarders can go to have fun. Is is Stater Brothers Shopping Center. I occasionally go by to watch the skaters and there is a Pokemon go gym there. Have seen some beer drinking by people of age however, not a druggie or sketchy type place. Im almost 60, play Pokemon, and stop by before shopping at Stater Brothers. 24 Hour Fitness, and some places to eat in and take out (pizza) nearby in same shopping center. If I had a younger son, would not hesitate to let him skate there.

One of my kids favorite places to ride. If you go early in the morning not to busy. And my kids dont feel like they are in the way of the older kids, adults riding. Shades are there for the hot days. Also a nice place for the parents to sit and watch the action going on. Every time we have came here the bathrooms was clean. We have even see some old school skaters here tearing it up.

My son began his interest in skating when he was 8. Took him here and the park is really cool and huge. Def big enough even for a beginner. He rides his razor with the 3 or 4 other kids even and the 20 skater kids there hav been respectful and patient with him. Al cement with ramps, half pipes, stairs, rails. Freakn sik!

Lots of lower ramps for younger folks to scooter or skateboard, located right next to 56 hwy so a bit noisy, no real areas for bicycles, even has restrooms, enough benches for parents to sit and watch.
