This movie theater is fantastic. Best seats, best screens, best sound. But you definitely pay for it! This theater has one of the highest ticket prices. On the plus side, the The Geoffrey Off Broadway SD usually has a wide variety of movies to choose from, including some movies that are not shown in other theaters. Overall, Im a fan of this movie theater, my wallet is not.
I went to see a show here. The show was great but it was a rainy night. There were walls on every side of the theater except for one wall. It was just a sheet. You could hear all the cars and rain. It was distracting
Fun, kitschy little hole in the wall theater venue for small performance. Feels like a trip into Narnias wardrobe just getting in. Definitely rough around the edges, but thats part of the experience of small theater ;-)
Great, small theater company. The Phantom of the Empire and Into the Walker Woods were fantastic.
Taping of San Diego Tonight was awesome. Laughs, fried chicken, and explosion.
San Diegos best kept secret,…hands down! San Diegos very own late night show (who knew!?!), called Tonight In San Diego, recorded live, every Monday night from Geoffrey Theater at Spreckels (on First Ave & Broadway, across the street from Chipotle and Chase - the entrance is nondescript, so slightly tricky to find). Doors open 7:30ish; show starts 8ish. Crazy fun (& shockingly, still under the radar)!
Cozy and fun
Great shows
