I almost dont want to review the Loma Club because its a hidden gem... especially in current COVID times! (I havent golfed here FWIW - Im just reviewing the drinks/food/atmosphere.) Solid beer list, elevated pub grub, and a fantastic outdoor patio. Its like hanging in a friends backyard. Big TVs attached to a central tree, plenty of picnic tables, cheery string lights for night, listening to the planes take off... honestly, this place is just a damn delight.

Amazing re-design of an old Navy base into a new neighborhood with a variety of restaurants and entertainment. Tonight at the Loma Club Mark Fishers band, the Seaweeds, provided classic Rock and Roll to an enthusiastic crowd, eager to get up and dance to favorite tunes from their youth. The List Loma Club has a restaurant and full bar, with inside or outdoor patio seating.

Such a fun little par 3 course. The staff were very friendly and welcoming plus it was a good mix of short and long par 3 holes, too! It had great views of downtown skyline and you cannot beat the location! The Loma Club is inside liberty station, so it is only a quick walk after your round to some delicious food and drinks! I will definitely be returning.

This is such a nice place to play hybrids and irons... The first few holes are short, leaving the 160-200s for the last three holes... Good to get you warmed up.The Vista at the 5th is worth the price, which is nice and cheap anyway! Walking course but even a 40+ like me at 300 pounds had no problem with my bag. Grab a San Diego Amber Ale when youre done

New management is miserable. Used to play here weekly throughout all of 2018 & 2019. In 2020, management changed. Played just a couple of times during Covid and can usually walk ok... Anyways, today we had a tee time made (unusual for us, but we wanted to be prepared on a nice Friday afternoon). Parking is in short supply, so we found a spot at nearby Corvette Diner. Walked over to check in and when checking in, were told that we could not tee off, as we had arrived six (6) minutes too late. We asked if we could take the next tee time, and they said no, were booked solid all day. Once we realized the next tee time folks were a no-show, we tried to pay and take their time, but were told No again. We sat around for 15 minutes watching the entire first hole sit vacant before the group AFTER that show up to play. Adios Sail-Ho / Loma Club!

Great value for the money, especially with the 50% discount if you replay the 9 hole course. Easy to walk but there are some hills... but those hills result in phenomenal views of the San Diego skyline, especially on the 5th hole! Definitely make a reservation as the tee times fill up fast.

This review is for the course. I have played there several times, but have never ate there. This course offers much more variety than your typical 9-hole, par 3 course. A couple of holes are two short for my liking, and they should really trim that tree blocking your tee shot on the 5th hole. But the last three holes give you the opportunity to break out your hybrids or woods. There are some beautiful views, especially from that 5th hole I mentioned. The staff is great. It can get a little loud on the course due to the traffic on Rosecrans and the jets taking off. Seems like a fair price to me - $12 senior fee on weekdays. The driving range is really just a warm up net. The adjacent practice green is the largest I have ever used, and is very well maintained.

Used to love playing this little course, but the current parking situation (with Dirty Birds opening next door) is madness! Also, some of the newer staff members they’ve hired are incredibly rude. They need to allocate spots for Loma Club customers in the parking lot and bring their customer service back up to par.

This place is a hidden gem inside Liberty Station. 15$ for a 9- hole round on weekends, with a very formal laid back vibe. Most all holes are under 160yds, with a few right over 200yds. You wont need a driver unless you drive under 200 yards. For those of you who have trouble with the low irons, bring a hybrid or wood. Otherwise you would be fine on this course with a 5,7,9 iron, your favorite wedge and a putter. Dont forget to order a bloody Mary here before you tee off, you wont be disappointed.
