Nice, smooth, walkable trail with various access points/stairs and walkways to the beach and side streets to neighbourhood and cafes. Beautiful views of the beach
Easy trail. Very nice view of the ocean as well as the wild flowers along the walk way. Stairs can be climbed if you want to do a quick cardio run too. If you do not want to pay for parking, you can park for free at Pico Park and then walk all the way to the Amtrak Station to access the San Clemente Beach Trail.
Our go-to beach year round. Love it.
This trail used to be the best thing about San Clemente but now that the bridge is closed there’s nothing that really sets it apart. Those of us who live in North Beach can no longer take advantage of the trail. The city is spending money setting up barricades instead of fixing the problem. I can’t believe that they are not fixing it and have no plans to. Shame on you city of San Clemente!!!
It is a very nice beach side walking trails. Loved it
About 3 mile trail, you can walk all the way south to see the backyard of former Western White House, where Richard Nixon met with Leonid Brezhnev in 70s
Peaceful family spot
My favorite place on the planet!
Walk, run, bike, etc. along the nicely paved coast trail. It is free to enjoy 24 hours a day, and has multiple access points throughout San Clemente, most of which also have access to the beach and parking is always nearby.
I came here at night and walked down the pier. it was the most beautiful experience of my life.
