I been a vender at Traders Village for many years now and I just felt that I had to give praise to some of the staff out there. Sandy and Liz are wonderful people always putting the customers first and always have a smile on there face. They work so hard and do a SUPER Job running this facility. Very top notch!! Also wanted to say that the wonderful lady (Jolene, I think) and her husband that keep the facility clean and in check do a GREAT JOB! It’s been a long tome since I’ve seen the grounds so clean and in order. Every time I drive in to the facility they are running around getting stuff done! They have an unbelievable work ethic, always hustling with a smile on their face. NICE JOB!!!

So many awesome vendors and not enough time to see everything. But the funnel cake with strawberries was out of this world!!!! OMGDont try to buy a beer without a mask on tho! So even though its an open air facility they still say they require a mask. Come on now lets think logically. All in all had a great time.

Good place to find some unique items. If You are worried about covid, everyone here pretty much follows the 6 foot distancing. We just moved here from California and was looking for some good spots to pick up new items for the house. Besides the heat the day was pretty chill. Plus they have nice adult beverages to keep you cool. all in all this will be a new spit for us

Truly disappointed!!! What is the management at Traders Village thinking? Normally a really classy establishment. But on Saturday at Traders Village Flea Market I saw many, many people walking around without facemasks on. Were still in a pandemic, right? I dont remember even hearing a reminder over the loudspeakers telling everyone that a facemask is a requirement and you could not be there without one. With what we have going on in our state and country, it is everyones, namely the business owners responsibility to ensure all patrons follow the guidance from the CDC and the state. Wear a mask please!!

Hot. So hot. Came with a friend, Ive come before for the Pow Wows they have, thats super fun. But Im just not that into shopping in the heat.Masks were 5/ea or 5 for 20. Way overpriced. Didnt ride any rides or even walk around much, the heat was horrid. The shade helped under the rear Pavillion. Had some Chinese food from a cart, that actually wasnt terrible for 7$.Would go again.. just not in summer.. or fall for that matter. Ugh. Sorry.Clean place though.

When I think of a Flea markets I think of great sales and even better food. This was not the case! Some of the sales were good but some I could just go to a regular mall for those prices. I was looking forward on having a bomb elote (corn) but was very disappointed. The corn in a cup had no butter flavor and I had to find it buried under the big layer of Parmesan cheese at the top of it which made every bite dry and Unpleasing. I’ve never had this experience in Pearland,tx flea markets where the snacks and food are amazing with the deals as well!

We went for the Burton Ball 2020 event held at the village. This event was very disappointing. My roommate and I drove down from Austin, a good two hour drive, to come to this ‘Ball’. In the description it says, “Texas-sized mile long route drive thru experience complete with spooky holiday lights, character driven displays from Burton classic films, local artist murals and more. Complete with all the magic, lights, artistry and creativity”. With a description like that, it led us to believe this would be a fun Halloween event. Once we arrived at what seemed to be the main entrance, we were told to turn around and go down to the south entrance. There were no signs directing us...so if you follow the address on the website, it is wrong. It also said you were to pick up tickets before entering. Once at the correct entrance, there was a man who asked to see our receipt of ticket purchase and said we “were good”. The entrance was completely dark with no signage to direct to the ‘Texas-sized mile long route”...we followed the cones and turned the corner to the main act. Eleven very small wooden stage-like setups with backdrops, cardboard cutouts and/or inflatable characters. The only sound to be heard were the generators keeping the inflatables filled and the random Christmas light lit. That was it. Backdrops and cardboard cutouts. $25 to drive down a lane in a parking lot to see cardboard cutouts and giant movie posters... there was ONE character in costume, Penguin. Which led us to believe there should have been a person in costume at each backdrop since they were small stages. But no. It was just the one person. We drove down the small line of backdrops and rounded the corner to see a merchandise area set up. But, you must buy everything online first. So you can’t get out of your car to go look at the products. We went out the exit, which was the first gate we tried to enter in. We asked the man there if there should have been more to this event. He replied saying, “oh...uh... did they give you the code for the Spotify playlist? There’s some music to go along with the drive...I don’t know who is at the front gate but they should have told you. And sometimes there are characters but not every night...I thought I saw a Penguin earlier”. No one told us about a playlist for music. There was only ONE person in costume. We went on opening night. You’d think there might have been a bigger show for the opening night. We drove around to the entrance again and asked the man at main gate if there were a playlist code because we drove in complete silence, aside from the generators keeping the inflatables filled. He said, “I work for the venue not the event. I have no idea about music or anything involving what is included. I’m just here to check your ticket purchase. But you guys can go back through if you’d like.” We were able to find the ‘Burton Ball 2020’ playlist on Spotify, which includes 11 songs. One for each backdrop. Not mixed together. Just the theme songs from the movies on a playlist. What if we didn’t have Spotify? What if we didn’t ask about the music? What if we didn’t ask to drive through again? This event was a complete let down and, quite honestly, a massive waste of $25 plus the cost of gas to drive to the event and more importantly, our time. I’m not sure what it was like in previous years but this was not worth it. I guess it will always be a story to tell about how ridiculous it all was. I understand that we are all adjusting for COVID friendly events but, this was just not it.
