Service is always timely even when they have a full house. The service here is attentive. It has a cool feel to it.

I actually havent been in to Murphys in quite a while. But I enjoy this bar quite a bit. Bar food is typical and decently priced. The bar staff is pretty awesome. Furring the warm weather season you can sit out front on the patio (if you get there before the crowds) and enjoy the city passerby. No pool tables but you can play darts. Oh and super excellent selection on brews and liquor

I really liked the food but it was hard to choose something. The Reuben had a ton of meat, which was great considering most other places hardly give anything at all. Everything was very reasonably priced and service was great. We sat at a table to the side of the bar. Our drinks werent filled very fast but what we did have was good. The menu is full of great stuff and jokes.I wish that there had been a little more light. It seemed almost too dark and was far brighter outside at 7pm.

Pretty classic bar with green carpet and the smell of the early 90s. Service is okay and theyre commonly out of certain beers. Overall itd be fun to be a regular at this bar, but with the selection of bars downtown its hard to justify shacking up here for long. Wings are tasty, beer is cold, life here is pretty average

Little dive bar with friendly bar tenders. Ancient change machine near the dart boards hadnt been filled and literally short changed me by a lot, but the bar tender made me whole then placed an out of order sign on the machine. Id go again~

Comfy and yummy. Boom yah! Only 2 TVs so if youre flying solo and looking to watch a game and dont get a good seat just might be awkward. Hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Definitely recommend though

Quaint little bar off Main Street. Bartender was very nice and was managing the whole place to herself so kudos to her. I wanted some bangers and mash, but it was a rainy afternoon in the middle of the summer so I went with the Rueben which was done nicely. I like the dart boards in the back and will be back for St Pattys Day.

Ive been coming to Murphys for over a decade! Its a great little hold-in-the-wall with some fairly decent food. Their prices are a little much sometimes though.

Good food, it took awhile, but the fish and chips was fresh and tasty. Service was good. I would go again.

A fine Irish themed pub! Drink your fill of tasty beers and a variety of liquor delights. The food is decent for a small pub and definitely gets the job done after a few cold ones. I would definitely recommend this place for any St. Patricks day or any pub crawl adventure.

It is a nice location and decent offerings and great service, but rhr building smells like something died. I think theres something deeply wrong with the carpet. At first we thought someone had used the doorway as a urinal. We were not correct.

I love this place. A casual, relaxing, brass-rail joint. It has long been a favorite lunch spot for me. Drinks are reasonably priced, as is the food menu. The food is much better than you would think.

The best Bar in Salt Lake City. When my parents visit from out of town we always end there. Servers are quick, drinks are priced competitively, and the food is always good. Darts in the back are fun.

This place has horrible staffing. They told my dad to leave their bar because he was filming. Hes a big YouTuber and the amount of publicity it would bring them would be endless, but now....not anymore.

Murphys is a good place for happy hour or late night. The food is amazing and the beers are delish. Yumm!

We got there at 12:50 and then refused us service even though they were open until 1. There were people in there drinking and we were sober. Very disappointing.

Too many drunks at only 11 on a Friday night!Wife and I stopped in for a drink while waiting for our ride home.Bartender was shouting at a woman right in front of us for not paying for her drinks.On the other side of us a very large man who was very drunk was shouting at the bartenders that he was not drunk.Embarrassing overall. Wife and I had to sit still till it all blew over. This was all at around 11pm, not 2am. Oh and cocktails cost as much or more than a bar you feel safe in.

Typical dive bar and moderately expensive drinks. Not great food selection, galley style entrance with not a ton to do. Also, one been to Ireland. This is only an Irish bar by name. They dont even have Magners or any real Irish drink (Killians and Guinness dont count).

Sometimes they have food, sometimes they dont? The drinks are decent and its a chill spot to hangout at. Not expensive at all.

For someone who luvs the loud and abnormally insane crouds like at the clubs, this place is awesome to get away once in a while. they have friendly staff and fast service. the environment is mellow but alive enough for me to enjoy it.

So about a couple months ago a certain bartender gave me a Responded to my order How the F#$@ you going to drink that! I replied if I have to pay extra I dont mind. She serviced my drink with a attitude. So when I paid I still wrote a tip on the receipt, while I sat there I scratched out the tip part after I already had put a tip in . She didnt deserve a tip by all means, the way she responded to me. Come today I decide to go back and give them my business after this incident. When I ordered the same bartender gets us kicked out for in her own terms bailing on our tab. After being a loyal customer since I turned 21, 5yrs ago. Oh well I guess not tipping a RUDE bartender is bailing on my tab Still wish her the best in life.

The only good thing about this place is the dart games. Shots and hard liquor drinks are more expensive here, I usually pay 4 bucks for a run and coke but here I pay 6. the food is overpriced, 9 bucks for frozen fries with 50cent cheese and bacon thrown on top. If the girls are behind the bar its hard to get them to give you drinks because lonely drunks are trying to hard to get lucky.

Discrimination against foreigners. Im visiting Salt lake and try to get to this pub tonight. The waitress asked for ID, I showed my French passport. She said she needed to see my Visa stamp??? Like she works for immigration or what? Im here as a tourist, the stamp I have wont show her my birthdate.I went to other pubs where they accepted my passport and just wrote down my number on their log.
