Normally I would have posted a pic but food looked so good I couldnt stop. The service was very welcoming and sociable. Prices were appropriate.

The service was somewhat blunt and abrupt. The iced mocha was delicious and the ham and cheese croissants a perfect breakfast.

Was having a rough day so I thought I would stop in for my favorite coffee spot in SLC. Splurged and got their b-sandwich on a croissant (they added amazing mixed fruit just for fun) with peppermint mocha. Fed my belly and my soul.Thank you!!

Awesome place for coffee! If you are looking for a coffee and you are in the area, this is your stop. Great drinks, great pastries, and great atmosphere. They have nice areas and chairs to hide out and get some work done as well as places for a quick little meeting. They even sell art here. This place is much more then just coffee and donuts. Alchemy coffee has a vibe and a style all it’s own. Defiantly a unique coffee shop for the salt lake area.

Got a latte with oat milk & regular latte with whole milk. The coffee is too watery more like a drip coffee. Doesn’t taste or looks like latte at all. Also taste is bad. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you are looking for a good latte.

I can say this place does it for me. The bill was fair for the quality of food. Reminds me of a restaurant in Philadelphia that I enjoyed.

My newest favorite place to come work for the afternoon. Alchemy Coffee is a cozy spot with indoor and outdoor seating, coffee, tea, and pastries. I love the decor and vibe. People here seem to come here a lot and know each other. There are spots to work on a laptop, but a lot of people just come to hang out or read a book over a cup of coffee. This place is near my dog’s daycare so I decided to come here and work and was glad I did. It is my new go-to spot.

The staff is always wonderful and the coffee is always amazing! Only place I get a spice chai tea in Utah.

Not too pricey for a coffee shop, and the beans used werent bitter like the large chain company which is very nice. Good place to go for a little warm brew. Buy local and support your local economy.

I’m from Portland, Oregon—my family and I stopped here on our way on a road trip back from Denver, and I was blessed with the best latte I have EVER had. These folks know how to pull a shot better than what I’ve had anywhere in my home city.The employees were also sweet & friendly, and they have a fun local artist sticker machine! The kid in me couldn’t resist. Go to Alchemy.

Seemed like the edgy hipster hype spot without much substance. Pretty cozy inside, if not a little small - not a ton of options for seating either. The coffee is average, and there are the mandatory vegan pastry options as well.The staff is nice, which makes up for a good bit.

It was my first time in Salt Lake City and I went to Alchemy Coffee. I live the setting and decor in this place! Lots of interesting decorations and plants within this small coffee shop. The staff working was very friendly and energetic... even visitors were friendly and entertained me with information about the city.

Awesome coffee shop! The music is great, the decor is quirky and awesome, and I absolutely loved the drinks. The barista made me a smores flavored mocha that was divine when I asked about the different flavors they had.

It is very dog friendly with a bowl of water outside the door, not to mention how most of the workers there coo over the dogs that come by. The prices arent bad at all. The decor and vibe is killer. It has a neat area in the back to hang. WiFi is awesome and Ive been able to work out of here with no connectivity issues and have felt really welcome. It is a welcome staple in Sugarhouse and we are so happy to have them there.

This place has the best coffee in all of salt lake city. Even thought I just tried 5-6 during my brief visit in town. The large 4 shot latte I ordered had a grainy texture of coffee with a smooth flavor of a latte making it a perfect buster of morning Glory.The sandwiches are perfectly placed with just the right amount of salad, dressing and eggs. A perfect breakfast for an early morning drive to the mountains.And then comes the interiors; a tiny mixture of ancient touches over the modernistic design of a studio. From colorful paintings to the hand crafted stones, this place will not disappoint you. So glad to have wandered to this corner of coffee heaven. Do visit this place if in SLC.

Environment was awesome, food looks good, coffee was the WORST coffee I ever had. If I had the time to go back I would have given them back my and my husbands coffee and asked for a refund since we wouldnt even drink it because it was so unpalateable, I would have. And my husband isnt even picky when it comes to coffee. He wouldnt touch this stuff again. ThisPlace has so much potential though!

Coffee is great and way more reasonably priced than Starbucks the giant. Alchemy offers creative and delicious drink specials as well as a wide variety of pastry options. The staff is friendly and helpful. My personal favorite is their coffee cakes!

Great coffee, decor, hours. Smells funny.The coffee is beyond reproach. They use salt lake roasting co beans which is great and Id say their baristas make more consistently good lattes than roasting co. They are friendly and make good conversation as well. They are open Sundays as well, unlike roasting co.The decorations are not for everyone. Its a distinct skeletal theme, but Im into it. They have local artwork on the walls for sale, which is something I appreciate but seems to have fallen out of favor in other places.With all that going for it, it pains me not to give a perfect score, but there is one drawback that keeps this from being my usual remote office, and thats the peculiar, but pervasive chemical smell the building has. I dont know what it is, but I think its a characteristics of the architecture. Its detectable even outside and it makes it a good place to get a drink to go, but not to hang around.

Drip coffee for a buck and a half. Hard to complain. Pesto Roll is my favorite for the food but everything is solid. All the people working there are speedy and kind. It’s my go to coffee shop in Salt Lake.

This is my favorite coffee shop I discovered them a couple years ago when i lived down the street they have a quaint and homey feeling to them that really makes the environment welcoming the barista is beautiful and a total sweetheart she makes awesome drinks i have yet to be disappointed or get anything burnt tasting which is way more than I can say for their competitors they were really my favorite part of the neighborhood I definitely encourage anyone to go in and pay them a visit!

Ive been coming into Alchemy for 12 years and NEVER had a bad experience. Everyone is always so kind and welcoming. Tonight my partner and I came in and got drinks and vegan pastries - my partner could not stop raving about how good the espresso was and the iced coffee was the best Ive had in the city. This place is a very cute and eclectic hole in the wall. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They actually have good in housemaid breakfast sandwiches here. They also have the best cafe Vienna.

I loved my coffee! And the staff was so nice. Dog friendly too, they’re totally cool with your dog coming with you to the counter to order, and there is seating outside for you and your pup!

This latte was a galaxy of happiness in my cup! Besides the perfect espresso, its an amazing little hangout to relax and pass so time.

I dont drink coffee, but I LOVE Alchemy! So many options, but the best thing to try is the Choco-Chai. Its a hot chocolate and chai tea mix and it is the most divine thing Ive ever tried! Spicy or Sweet, they are both amazing!

This is one of my favorite places to go for a consistently good drip coffee near South Salt Lake. There arent a lot of places to stay and sit, but that hasnt been a problem for me because, I take my coffee to go. This is a coffee shop that is environmentally minded. They offer a discount if you bring in your own mug to fill. Ill definitely be back.

Its not a bad little place located near a laundry room and bus stop smaller but offers WiFi and friendly environment has great little dishes to enjoy like crossants and bagels with avocado rather fast and useful staff ease of comfort and outside seating smaller parking area but its a smaller place do offer walk ins check it out for yourself

This place is one of my favorite coffee shops to go to in the local slc area. I usually order a chai frappe and a basil-pesto roll both are delicious. To top it off the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Menu is good. Nice decor. Very small inside...not enough seating inside or out. Not a great place to meet up because of that.

The owner is super cool and the others are super awesome too. Ive never had a bad cup here. Theres a decent spread of vegan and non vegan options for food as well! If youre in the area, or not, go!

Alchemy doesnt disappoint and their coffee cake was delish!As with most businesses in the area, the parking situation may be a bit difficult depending on the time of day. Id never let this stop me as theres and street parking.I love the many little things done here to avoid excess trash and waste.

Flew into SLC from Seattle and worked on the laptop here before my afternoon meetings. Reminded me very much of the Seattle coffee scene; eclectic decor, super chill, diverse clientele and staff.Coffee was good, but their espresso blend brought a bit too much fruit and acid to the fore for my taste.Nice though, good place with a good vibe.

I went to pick up some vegan donuts there for a friends birthday and the lady working was so friendly and easygoing. The donuts were amazing! The ambiance was so calming and welcoming. I intend to return for something to drink and add to my review. I love all the vegan options, it really sets it apart from most local coffee shops. Ill be returning!

Alchemy Coffee is a busy but cozy place in a nice neighborhood, friendly with Creatives, that has good coffee. I appreciated their highbacked leisure chairs, too. I definitely recommend this place -- a little oasis of comfort.

Great atmosphere, I love to walk my dog there and he enjoys hanging outside with me. The staff is great and the interior is really interesting and artsy. I need it at least weekly! I get a breakfast sandy with a tomatoes and avocado. It’s pretty amazing.
