This place is quite peacful. Laid out with comfort in mind. Plenty of room to enjoy, the play areas, places to walk your dog, picnic tables for eating with family and friends and a waterfall suitable for a romantic stroll including benches for sitting (or snuggling) near the waterfall and throughout the park.

One of my favorite parks in town the waterfall is ever relaxing, and good place to chill and play pokemon go

Lots of shade trees. Cement benches to eat lunch. Squirrels running around gathering up acorns, different variety of birds. Very peaceful. Also a tennis court for public use.

It has a veterans memorial to see. I love the trees this time of year I love to sit and just watch the leaves fall its beautiful

We stopped here for a break on our cross country road trip. Great park, walking course, and overall beautiful! Great place if your driving and need to stretch your legs and leg your kids get some energy out.

Sunset has always been a beautiful park. My sons love playing at the playground, as well as my boyfriend & I love walking the new trails they have.

Did a bike ride thru the park a few times then around the streets. Beautiful day. Ate lunch at the park. Winds were the only issue but they werent that bad.

A very nice, well-maintained and beautiful park for anyone wanting to get outside without going too far. The walking lane asking the entire street, war memorial, and new playground are all attractive and interesting features. A very relaxing and scenic park overall.

This is a nice little park. It has plenty of room for picnics, out door cooking, has shelter for events, basketball, tennis, war memorial, waterfall, fountain, stream, and a very nice playground. The park is usually very clean and even has a dispenser for dog poop bags. My only complain is that it is too close to the airport to fly RC aircraft.

Wonderful park ! The park has all you need to enjoy some time outside.

Always a quiet place for a picnic lunch. Have been going there for 60+ years. Grounds are well maintained and love all the continued improvements. Public restrooms are always clean and easily accessible. Always brings back childhood memories of our shopping trips to Salina and tacos in the park!

The park was peaceful and enjoyed a nice walk around the veterans memorial. The bathroom had running water and were clean. Ill go back.

Ive come here since 1956, and of course its gotten older, but its still a wonderful part. Theres beautiful areas to sit, workout, and and for children to enjoy. One of the best use of space Ive ever seen.

Very nice park, clean and taken care of. Only if the people that come there would take there trash and help keep it nice. Dont listen to duff and all the bs he posts about this park. Its nice and clean. A perfect place to take the family.

Great open spaces for picnics, kids cant wait to try out new play equipment. Like how the walking trail is marked with the actual distance traveled. They have tennis courts, basketball court, horseshoes, and me and the kids love to races boats in the man made stream. Once the park is totally done it may be a five star.

Loving the new playground equipment!!! Hoping we can keep and improve some of the water features here too, Sunset has always been my park of choice having grown up in the neighborhood.

Its a good place for a walk yourself or to walk the dog. A couple covered table areas that I believe you can rent/reserve through the city parks department. And a small playground for kids. And my most favorite part is the Veterans Memorial in the middle of the park.

It has a really pretty view and the waterfall is so gorgeous. Just be careful after dark or even in mid daylight. Dont let your kids go alone either.

One of the oldest parks in Salina I went to a Family Reunion Zhere when was 1 year old. I am 70 now . But the kiDS Playgoud equipment was redone a YEAR ago

Grew up in the area and was able to play at the park. I have even taken my children there and they even loved it!!!

The waterfall fountain in Sunset Park is really beautiful, relaxing and calming...good play equipment for my granddaughter and a little structure that looks like a tiny house that is a lending library for the community is a treasure!
