The food is very overpriced, but hey what water park doesnt have overpriced food? The staff are pretty nice. But everything is so crowded and there are some adults who pick on little kids and dunk them, and the staff do nothing! Whats also kind annoying is that Ive seen several adults doing stuff underwater, and all that stuff was stuff that little kids do NOT need to see!!
Admission is cheap, food is overpriced, but still an enjoyable experience! Four of the slides are calm, but one is too intense for me (I hate thrill rides). Lazy river is nice, and the lifeguards aren’t too strict. Staff is friendly.
A Great community asset! Im really happy with the swim lessons my little ones received here. Plenty to do. It may be a little small, but they pack in all the amenities including wave pool, continuous river, high water slides, lane pool, diving pool, and kiddie area. They even offer lockers and concessions. Great for the hot summer months.
My daughter here and it was really fun
My first time there, I took my 2 year old daughter with me. She loved it! I love how the lazy river goes all the way around from the wave pool to the toddler pool. It is the perfect place for a hot day. Snack bar is reasonably priced and has some good choices. There are shaded areas to sit, which is nice. My only recommendation is that you wear sandals because the ground gets really really hot if you try to walk further than the restrooms. We had a really enjoyable time.
Great park with vivid colored equipment that either hasnt faded yet or is really well maintained. 3 6 water depth throughout most of the park is great for young kids. Wave pool was really weak compared to Island Oasis in Grand Island Nebraska. We liked that you could walk around the lazy River and really enjoyed the slides that you could take the tubes on.
Very good place for kids for not so bad of a price. There is plenty to do, and the kids seem to enjoy it. I have no complaints.
Loved It! I Would Definitely recommend it. Kids are 4 dollars and adults are $6. Although the reason why Im giving it a 4 star was because the lap pool or deep end and diving board was closed including one of the slides. My Kids really wanted to go to the deep pool. Bummer!
This is an awesome small town water park. Great fun for the whole family at a really reasonable price. I believe my wife and I and two kids go in for $20. We always have fun and come back multiple times every year.
Nice little Oasis in the plains of Kansas. The kids loved it. Overall, well with the $16 for our little family to get in. Dont hesitate to try out the toilet bowl slide! Good be times!
Great water park. It has a lazy river, multiple tube rides and plenty of kids areas where they have stuff to play with. Best advice: get in early to get a good spot with shade. Also, membership pass lets you skip the line!
Great way to beat the heat on a hot summer day!! It was very crowded as the Big pool was closed......again!! More float tubes are needed also. It would be nice to go down the lazy river without having people walking it, getting in the way of floating it. Over all It is a good place to cool off.
Fun but always seems to have something not open and the walkways are super hot..wish there was a better material to walk on than the hot cement..so be sure to bring footwear of some sort while you walk..great price for a fun day though..they have lockers but need to pay for lock you get to keep so if you need one and dont wish to purchase a lock you should remember to bring your own.
Kenwood cove is fun however the last 8 times my kids and I have been the lap pool is closed due to lack of staff. This has been an on-going issue for over two years. When the lap pool is closed it makes it incredibly crowded as there are less places for people to go. I buy the annual passes every year and have since it has been open but next year I will not be buying the passes as I have not seen any improvements for the lack of staff in the last couple years.
Fun but over crowded.. no way can you be lazy in that river.
No water on the sidewalk area when its 113 degrees outside the cement needs watered down. The life guards are Ill trained. The lady river is so packed full its dangerous for smaller children. And the park is full of thiefs had my sunblock and t shirt stolen. I will be contacting safety board of Kansas and having you inspected.
The area is always kept clean. Lifeguards are very aware of what is going on and they dont play around like you might expect for their age group. Ther is a lot of attractions to choose from for the cost of admission. I live an hour away and visit as often as possible.I only wish they would be open later in the year.
Too much crowd for the size of the park. Long queues and they had reserved most chairs in shaded areas for parties. Add to that, very unfriendly - unhelpful - somewhat rude staff. They did not honor to give even the price I paid for my recently expired Groupon, although app showed it was redeemed when they scanned it. Would not give a proper receipt for the full admission fee I had to pay, too. Most likely my experience was rare and an exception (given the generally positive reviews you read here); however, I thought to record it here.
Very fun place however food and drinks r a bit expensive for my taste and water doesnt always look and smell clean. Ive only been there maybe 5 times but twice water smelled bad.
Loved it. Had a great time. I took my 4 year old daughter here and she had the time of her life. Friendly staff, wasnt to expensive, wasnt to crowded. Had plenty of space. All around good time.
It was a pretty good day until we had to deal with some racist staff. My husband went up to the counter to get a water refill and no one would even acknowledge that he was there or talk to him. Then my friend went up after and they acknowledged her right away. If I could give zero stars I would. I’m very disappointed.
Its a fun place. Needs some more shaded areas for you to sit under and to keep from getting burnt!
Cheap all day Fun & friendly enviroment
It was a neat experience. I think they should have a deeper pool for the adults, but its a great place to take children.
Reasonable admission prices for a Water Park. The staff works very hard, especially as so many are young teenagers. Fun attractions, great places to lay out in the sun. I love spending hot summer days here!
I was not impressed. They do not rotate staff so therefore they close down the pool a number of times. Also the water has huge spiders in it and also little frogs swimming in the water. It is always over packed and can never enjoy yourself. They do not provide enough floating device to go around once again from being over packed. I drove from Wichita to spend the day there with my kids. A huge dissapointment.
Fun place to hang out on a summer day. Lots of water activities. Watch out for the kids in the lazy river because theyre not so lazy.
The lap.pool.isnt open again. We drive from Hutchinson and then get here and you cant enjoy the lap pool. You would think they would have enough people scheduled so it would be open. Alot of people.enjoy using the lap pool.
People tell me they like place.
I love the lazy river
Its a really fun water park. All the slides that use tubes are fun, but ones that make you go bare back hurt a lot.
Great water park! Lazy river, bunch of different slides, kiddie play area, clean and lots of places to sit and watch...my seven year old granddaughter, her friend and I had a blast!
Its an amazing place to spend with family and friends! The slides are so fun and the last river is perfect.
The best water park in a 100 mile radius, easily. Derby water park is close but I think Kenwood Cove still takes the gold. Dope slides, super long lazy river, and even a wave pool! Nice kids area too. The lap pool, diving board, and climbing wall were closed when I went, but they looked super fun too. For $6 you cant beat it! All day fun. Will definitely be going back!
This was a nice place to spend the day. Entry prices were low and the staff were very polite.
I love coming here just wish the lap pool was open more often
Just go! Its affordable and fun.
Great Value. Fun slides. Plenty of exercise.
It’s always packed and crowed. They need to remove the swimming tubes from the lazy river. It’s basically bumper cars in there, you will get hit with feet or with a tube but if you ignore all that, it’s pretty alright. The large pool was closed and still had to pay full price when half the park was closed.
Loved the slides, some features were closed due to issues with lack of lifeguards (not their fault, definitely the supervisors fault)
Excellent place to bring the family. Safe, clean, a good experience. The kids loved it.
Would be great if they didnt always have half the park closed down. The concessions are over priced.
Very fun place, needs a better snack menu and places to sit down in the shade to relax.
Fun for the whole family. Definitely going back.
The only reason I am giving it only 4 stars is bc the first time we went on a Saturday and we were there for 3 and 1/2 hours and we didn’t get a tube til the last 30 mins. So we couldn’t float on the lazy river or go down some of the slides most of the time. Now we just go on the weekdays and have no complaint. Reasonably priced and super fun. We drive from 45 mins away to go here.
Swimming is a requirement for hot summer days. Kinda pricey but theyve packed it full of slides and things for all age ranges. Watch for deals on groupon, etc. to lighten the wallet shock.
Fun place with a variety of things to do. Very clean and well staffed with great people
Nice layout that provides plenty of room and a good selection of aquatic activities to keep the whole family having fun without feeling overcrowded.
Absolutely had a blast. Im 54 and never been to a water park. The lazy river was awesome.
Kids love it! Wish prices were better for a family of 8
Its a great water park. The guards were alert and very attentive. They had concession stands, and a nice layout to enjoy the water in many diffent ways. Really liked how they kept an eye on the weather and removed everyone from the pool for safety.
It is a fun waterpark. The lanes can get crowded. Its good for a couple hours of fun.
Fun place to enjoy a lazy Saturday or Sunday afternoon. A lot of different options for swimming.
Family fun is a treasured experience -- you can have that here. The kids will be wild, parents will be a little out of their minds with all the frenzy, but so much fun and the kids will remember it the rest of their lives. The facility looks clean generally, though I would like to see more lifeguard-types.
Is ok but also is really fun i just wish the lap pool was open all the time
I jave come here for several years. Always enjoyed our visit, staying usually 3-4 hours. But this tme it was not as pleasant. We left after an hour. The lap pool area was closed. Ppl on the lazy river were obnoxious. I got hit with a football. Life guards werent watching very well. Ppl were swimming underwater and some guy tried to swim under me and his head hit my bottom.Very disappointed!
Kids become sick a lot! I have gotten pink eye twice now since I’ve been there! The food is overpriced and the staff is decent! Nice water park for small town but overall just okay!
Really liked this park. Took my 6 year old and he even rode slides by himself. The lazy river was great, the play area very cute, wave pool fun, and obstacle course fun too. We had a really good time and the crowd wasnt too bad. Bathrooms were slightly in need of service each time we went in and some toliet was overflowing. Needed a few more shaded areas for people but all-in-all, enjoyed it and would go back.
Clean facility, plenty of seating, very fun
Open swimming pool has been closed since last summer. Pool is lacking maintenance. Very crowded.
First two major attractions were closed at the park and it was not updated on their Facebook or website. They charge for water refills which is $1.09! That’s not good business for a water park. I could understand paying for the first round but a refill for water should be free. Definitely got a racist vibe with our friend. He was standing there next in line to be waited on at the concession stand and no one acknowledged him so I waited a bit and still nobody helped him. Then I walked up and they helped me right away. The bathrooms were nasty, bandaids and lots of foreign objects floating in the lazy river. We will not be going back and would not recommend this water park when there’s much better parks and options.
It was packed and crowded, but enjoyable for the price and size of the place
Affordable place for family fun. We live an hour away and still go here multiple times because we always have a blast. The lifeguards are great also!
Lots of fun slides and activities for little ones
City park pool prices with a water park feel!
The staff was friendly, and even stood at the bottom of slide to catch my daughter to keep her from going under. Priced great, and I got in free for Fathers day.
Love going to this water park when visiting family in Kansas. Extremely reasonable
Weve always enjoyed going to the cove... I do wish you had more chairs when alot of people are there...
Fun, but always packed.
Fun place to go and a great deal by using Groupon.
Lots of fun for all ages. Good location. The Lazy River always has a lot of people enjoying it. There are tubes for floatingdown the river. Cabanas that can be rented. A concession stand. Lockers for personal items. Lots of seating. Lots of parking nearby.
Fun place for sure!! Especially the Lazy River is the most popular out of everything there!!
Great place to take kids to kewl off
Every time I come here various places in the park are closed for going on 2 years. I asked a lifeguard why and they responded they were under staffed and are always understaffed. Well let me tell you thats a management issue right there. If it was a 1 time visit and this happened I could understand, however this is my 8th time here. Smh.
A great family environment and awesome for the kids.
Great to see all of the native plants. The toilet bowl slide lacked water at the top of the bowl, but other than that its a great little park.
Awesome
Just wish they had more heathier food choices. Fresh Fruit..sugar free frozen treats.. yougurt cracker packets w chez. healthy chips... juices not so much pop...ugh ps. kids like it too..n lower yr prices guys really..? The guards are 5 stars n very polite always . and the ladies greetin folks comin in are soo sweet i shared w them im recovering from back surgery she offered to carry my bag now thats Caring..5 stars..see ya soon.
Great family fun, cheap entry fee and pool pass. However, food court is expensive and bland.
Kenwood Cove never gets old and their slides are so much fun!!!
A really good spot to take the kids to swim at
Awesome place to go to with your family and escape the heat
Good place for families and friends
I just love that its fun and stuff
There is always something to do and Ill always go back!
My family stopped on the way home from vacation. It was a great place to let our kids get some energy out! They had an awesome kiddy area for smaller kids and slides and such for older kids all for a super reasonable price. If we get the chance, wed definitely go again.
I absolutely love it, except there parking really stinks if you do not get there early, it was my first time and it was about 40 minutes from my house and we had to park across the street
Very cool park but ground is too hot to jave a 14 minute break my family all got blisters due to the heat of the ground
Nice place to cool off and staff keep an eye on the kids better than the parents. That being said, its not a daycare. Watch your own kids.
We had so much fun!!
Great place for birthday parties! They provide the cake and drinks!!!
Fun for the whole family. Wave pool and lazy river are great. Concessions could be improved.
Very nice and a great place to relax and enjoy
Nice when they have adequate staff.
I have gotten a family pass for the last 3 years. I will not no longer. The pool section is hardly ever open due to not enough staff, so there is no where to actually swim. It’s leaves the rest of the water park extremely crowded. The lifeguards DO NOT discipline unruly unsupervised kids. The things I saw this summer shouldn’t have happened and when I reported it?... no one cared.
It was a lot of fun for the adults as well as our kids. The lazy river is one of the better ones Ive been in and the slides are a nice change from the average place.
