Wonderful park. Great place for a walk. Its not a long walk but there are lots of little offshoots which provide lots of variety on how you can walk through the park. Theres decent foot traffic throughout the day so you wont have the place to yourself unless its late at night or early in the morning.

I used to love to go to this place and explore, it has a great view of the river and the baseball park and its really nice. Except for all the poverty and littering because now I cant even walk 1 step without stepping of glass or trash. And last time I was there, there was a dead freaking dog. I would not recommend this place to family that wanna go hiking/exploring/trying to have a good time.

This is a beautiful little park that has a short hiking trail there is a small pond there is a shelter building and I believe it is the highest point in Salina and you can pretty much see 360ﾟ from there. Great place to just get away to nature for a little while. I highly recommend.

Came here to Salina to buke ride. Nice small biking paths/hiking, it connects to smokey hill river/Salina levy.. scenic area.. be careful biking in some areas..

We stopped here as we were passing through on Vacation and needed a place to get out of the car and walk around. I took a star off because the trail was a bit confusing to us at first and not well marked but we found a way to it eventually and had a lot of fun exploring and meandering through the different little trails. None of them were marked but it was easy to not get lost. Theyre not long trails.

What a surprise to find a wilderness area where you can have an adventure without leaving town. I took the grandkiddos here, on the suggestion of my son, and had a good time. We made walking sticks out of the broken tree branches to help us navigate the trails. The trails lead you around a pond. You climb up and down and all around. At the highest point you are above the trees and can look over the city. ....you can take any trail and you will find you way back to a starting point. Our only problem was we didnt bring enough water for the adventure. It was hot and humid the day we went and therefore consumed more water than normal. So if youre looking for adventure with your kiddos and want to burn off a lot of pent up energy.....this is your place to go. Bring a small backpack full of water bottles, snacks, and wear good athletic shoes and enjoy a little adventure.

Nice park that is relatively quiet. There are some rough patches so would recommend wearing good shoes and pants to prevent injuries. Plenty of spots to wander around and several good spots for a scenic view.Definitely be mindful of signs. Some of the paths have a very steep path and if youre not paying attention you might miss it. However, there is plenty of walking space in the open areas if you want to avoid that

Neat park and hiking trails. Even can do some geocaching! Smoky Hill River close by as well.

Park is in the middle of town, which is a little strange, but there are some beautiful spots. In wetter years the park has a little pond. The trails wind up and down a forested hill. My biggest complaint is that there is some litter harming the natural beauty.

Fun to explore along the river and fairly clean.

If youre a truck driver and at the truck stops looking for something to do for an hour or so Uber out here and enjoy the calm.

It was a good hike, felt energized afterwards.

Nice park in Salina. Plenty of hiking to do, if you want. Or just find a place to relax.

Me and grandaughter s cleaned up other peoples trash while papa n grandson fished. Wish people had more respect (yes we washed and sanatized)

Kids and I had a great time. First we ate a packed lunch and then hit the trails. Good way to get the blood pumping and feel a sense of accomplishment after climbing up some tough spots. Definitely going back to try another route.

Its a nice place to just go and kick back and relax and chill. Not too many people come through to the point of disruption. Also u can trek down to the river and fish. It has trails and/or pathes to follow, which is fun. Not a great place to take children under say.... 5 tho. Also some treachery involved, with steep, unsteady, sometime eroding conditions.

The place has potential to be really good, could use better kept paths, paths down to the river, water fountains, but I bet that would cost alot tho...

I always enjoy visiting Indian Rock. It would be great to see it cleaned up and developed into its potential someday. Im sure there are heritage reasons as to why commercial use is out of the question. It still has so much recreational potential if cleaned up and maintained. The pond area is a marsh now and over grown. It would be nice to see some sort of renovation done. Possibly a more visible memorial and learning center for the Native American history it has.

Beautiful place to walk and do some easy hiking or even go trail running! Love the beautiful river at the bottom of Indian Rock with all the dams and little waterfalls from them. One of the most secenic places in Salina!

Be ready to go and hike here. This is a little rustic but challenging as heck. You are rewarded with a great workout and a fantastic experience in the woods with a view from the top. Girls: bring your own TP, its Nature Time for relief!

Nice place for a quick Day hike with your kids or for something to do.

Definitely worth the uphill walk for the ending view; my Osage roots felt at home surrounded by untouched natural art.
