Gnats, fruit flies everywhere. Prepoured all of the flights which attracted them more. No covers on drinks. Overly COVID scared. We got it and are being safe but this place is scared and should just be closed. Oh yeah, we had wines there...they were okay.
Very relaxing a peaceful place. The staff is very knowledgeable about the different wines and you can tell they love the company they work for. Very accommodating and friendly! The views are fantastic and the wine is phenomenal
The woman who did our tasting was very knowledgeable and kind. Gorgeous location.
Had an awesome tasting experience the other day with Kate. The wines were delicious and views of the property are exceptional. It’s cool to learn about the ways they’re managing the vineyards on site. I will definitely be recommending this winery
We stopped by to try the seasonal flight and were NOT disappointed!!The flight took us through 4 beautiful Pinot Noir, plot by plot approach, and finished on a truly great Chardonnay. As a French couple we are used to Burgundy and I was a bit afraid to taste the same mimicking style but hell no! This is definitely Oregon and we loved it!I highly recommend for:- the astonishing quality of the wines- the very warm welcome from the team and the very high quality of the service- cherry on the cake : amazing view from the terrace on the steep vineyard, this took the whole experience to another level.Brilliant!
Great tasting experience 100% Pinot Noir grapes and the entire selection is vinified from their local estate. Most of the vines are 40+ years old and dry-farmed.
Probably the best Pinot Noirs I have ever tasted! They are a family-run vineyard, so you know that the care they put in their winemaking and vineyard is unmatched. I highly recommend trying their Cauldron Pinot Noir and their Justice Pino Noir!
Supporters of cap & trade, never again will we ever buy any of your products, let me know how that works out for ya mini Casteel.. Chow
Great place really great wine. Great staff. Check it out
Enjoyed the wines. Friendly staff--special thanks to Mindy. Very nice tasting room and great vistas from the large terrace.
Lovely Pinot Noir wine selections and inviting tasting room
Just finished a visit here and loved it. The facility and grounds are beautiful and make for a great place to have a tasting. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Most importantly the wine was really great. The flatblock pinot was my personal favorite. I would definitely recommend stopping in.
One of the best wineries in Willamette Valley. Take some time to relax on the back porch and enjoy a view of the valley while drinking incredible wine!! I live in Nevada, but have been there about 10 times and I am a club member. We love it so much, I will be there in October.
One of the finest examples of how Oregon is turning out depth and complexity that is rivaling Burgundy.
Beautiful tasting room, excellent service, amazing wine.
Such amazing staff, lovely atmosphere and breathtaking views
Always a pleasure to visit Bethel Heights. Great wines, great views, great people!
We did enjoy the Bethel Winery, particularly the other patrons.
Beautiful tasting room with great views! Loved it!
A great location for and a genuine generational pursuit of gout de terroir. Very good deep colored pinots. Bravo!
A couple of wines (at > $55 per bottle) were definitely nice and we did leave with a couple bottles to cover the tasting. The wine server we got was nice, but the other two were a bit standoffish, at least at first. Really glad we got the more down to earth server, though one of the other servers did bring our toys for a toddler in our group.I get the snooty/stuck-up winery if all the wines are amazing -- some of my favorite Napa wineries have that vibe. But if your wine is average until the $50 price point you shouldnt be super aloof about that. There is no reason, in a place like Willamette Valley, that you cant make a tasty $20 bottle of Chardonnay. I can pick up decent wines, even Pinots, at $20 in Whole Foods and other places. L Bethel had a really good Chardonnay at $75. That is out of my price range, especially when I can get a comparable Chardonnay at 1/2 the price.Their really good pinots started at $56 and again Ive had better for less money in Willamette Valley. On the other hand, beautiful property, great views and goats you can pet. So worth the visit if you dont mind overpaying for your wine.
Excellent wine, excellent Tasting Room, beautiful views, very good experience. Excellent example of Pinot Noir in this area. Highly recommended.
Bottle of wine way too expensive!
We got there late in the day and they still let us come in and sample their excellent wines. The view from their patio is so picturesque.
Solid experience, beautiful view, and above average wines. If you stay in Newberg, the best reason to come down this far is for the pretty drive, and Bethel Heights is a nice stop to justify it all.
Nice staff. Very good tastings.
One of the must-visit wineries in the Eola-Amity Hills. Bethel Heights is one of the premier producers of beautifully-crafted wines and we love them
Best Pinot in the valley
Lovely views match lovely wines.
Well developed wines. Recommended.
Picking up wine and they make me feel like family!
Superb winery. Amazing views. Fabulous wines. They have a good variety of white including pinot blanc, gewürztraminer, chardonnay, and riesling. Pinot is amazing, especially the single block releases. And they arent afraid to pour the good stuff! Staff is very friendly. An A+ winery!
Nice setting, good wine, and friendly staff.
Excellent wines and a gorgeous location
Old vines produce wonderful wine.
Lovely experience
