An amazing house. Not too much information of the owners of the house but the architect was rather famous, born in Salem, MA (Samuel McIntire). This house is in amazing shape given its age but it is built from brick and has a granite foundation. Furnished as it would have been when built, it was completely reworked in the 1980s. Carpets look new. If you like looking at old homes, this one is a great one. Owned by PEM, look for a tour through the museum.

Really beautiful historic home that supposedly inspired the board game Clue. You can visit inside via the Peabody Essex Musem but several local ghost tours will talk about it as well.
