I love going for walks around Imerman Park. Its one of my favorite places. Its not real long - I can walk around it in less than 30 minutes. If you walked every trail it would probably take 45 minutes. But its close by and very pretty. I highly recommend going there if your in Saginaw. Make sure you walk around all the trails!

My husband and I have been going here to talk and have picnics since before we even started dating. I proposed to him there and to this day I take our dog there. This will always be a wonderful place to be. The dog runs are amazing and you can really tell they care about the upkeep of the trails. Theres a playground for kids, tennis courts, basketball courts, and gazebos for events. If you want to have a relaxing walk or a fun trip with your doggo, this is a great place.

I really enjoyed walking around this park! There was a short nature trail through the forest that I found. Not sure if there are more trails here. The view of the river from the fishing docks is peaceful and beautiful. I loved watching the big cranes flying over the water. Lots of people were playing basketball. There are pavilions in different places work tables for groups. Overall definitely worth a visit! A good retreat and place to find God speaking in the beauty of nature and the silence of your heart.

I take my puppies to the dog park a lot usually the one in frankenmuth but we live in Saginaw so we thought we would give this one a try. The area for the dogs is nice, but when we decided to go there were so many dogs that were kind of mean and Im not sure I will go there with my pups again. We did however walk them down the little trail after we left the dog area and that was really cool.

Good fenced areas: one for small and the other larger. Water, plastic bags for clean-up, and benches. They do charge an entrance fee or admit you with the right windshield sticker. Bathrooms are near. Handicap accessible.

Come here solely for the bark park. Other folks tend to be really nice here and the park is well maintained and is quite big. Caution going there after a heavy rain though, as it tends to have lots of deep puddles.

I had my daughters 1st birthday party here and I was so pleased not only with the location but with the employees. Reserving the pavilion was so easy and cheap it was a no brainer. Once the day came we had a couple different park employees ask us if we needed help with anything. One even offered to help set up the decorations and carry things for us. Another came and asked if we needed our trash bins emptied early or anything. We will definitely be having more family events here!

I visited for some hiking, and its an OK place for that. The trail was covered with mulch, and was in pretty good shape. The river was a bit high that week, and much of the trail was underwater, so more bridges would be nice. Its not terribly quiet, being close to the road and barking dogs from the houses nearby, but it was an OK break from work.

This park is well-worth the two-dollar entrance fee. There are a lot of pavilions and picnic tables for eating lunch. There is a big playground with good equipment for children. There are some basketball hoops. I think there is boat access for people to go on the river. But the best part is the beautiful trail which goes along the river. It is very well maintained, and the view is scenic!

Imerman is a delightful place to visit. The planned activities are well thought out and could use some more participants. The trail system is wonderful. A total Loop is about a 1 mile walk with deer to see if you are looking. The improvements theyve done along the water are great!

The dog park here is full of awful people who literally screamed at me until I left because my dog was playing fetch with their dog and a few others. All the dogs were trying to get one frisbee and playing fine, but because my dog is a pitt mix I was told he was trying to attack the other ladys dog, all while wagging his tail happily. Her dog was some kind of hound lab mix that barked and howled at everyone and their dogs which was incredibly loud and annoying but my dog was the bad guy I was told I couldnt stay, other folks there told me its a common problem. All the stuck up women are just rude to people who show up with a dog they dont like. I highly recommend avoiding this place if you have a friendly dog that is considered a bully breed unless youd like your day ruined.
