One of the most beautiful and exciting trails I’ve ever been. We walked for 4.5 miles, and saw small snake (not venomous!), frogs and lots of other species. I am really disappointed that google map does not show the trail path! Looking at the google map does not encourage you to visit this place. You must visit it in person. It’s a magical trail! I heard that if you report a missing road, google will add it to the map. If you know how to do it, do it please.
Probably the dryest way to get a great look at some wetlands. Did have a standoff with a snapping turtle... Just glad there are no Gators in Saginaw. Did the six mile loop on a run. Very flat, well maintained trails. Dont forget the bug spray though
LOVED it...middle of nowhere, but VERY cool! If you go in the summer, definitely take a lot of water. There are A LOT of frogs and unique birds...a few nice viewing docks with binoculars (that you dont need to pay for)...but be prepared for a good hike...we logged nearly 5 miles covering all areas.
Beautiful scenery and many many amazing birds on a well taken care of trail.
Flat and easy spring hike through the bayou. Lots of wildlife
Google brings this place up with a search term of camping . beware. the mosquito situation at this place is beyond comprehension and you may not sleep for 10 seconds here
Very little shade, bring your hat, sunscreen and you may need bug spray. But worth it for the views!
A treat for the nature lover! Go oftenYou never know what you will see.
Wonderful trails
I love this nature park
Exploring is good, the trail is awesome
