The parking is gravel and its pretty to walk around but I wouldnt swim there cause a few years ago they had swimmers itch.

Swimming is not allowed at this time of year, but it was still a fun visit. Theres a walking path that surrounds the lake, nice for fishing or just for a relaxing stroll.

They cleaned it up really really nice. Nice new park for the kiddos. Plenty of tables bbcue. grills to just sit back and enjoy.Its so much better and the park stays open after7:30 so you can hang if you wanted too I cant keep my babies away from it !

Saginaws own personal hidden oasis. If youve never been, its a must. Although the water is a bit colder, its well maintained. A good little funcation for the family

Good place for a stroll. Would be better if the swimming area can be a little bit larger, though for security purposes the size is understandable. Overall good place for both family outing or a small hike. BBQ grills are available too.

Haithco is a pleasant place to visit for the day or just for a quick swim. The park features a number of picnic tables and grills. The swim area is kept very neat and clean with a lifeguard on duty at all times. The bottom of the lake does have seaweed rather then rocks which I find quite pleasant.

Park is well kept and has friendly staff. Swimming area is very small and shallow, so there are much better parks for that.

Enjoyed time at the park, very clean, lots of amenities, can even rent paddleboards at this park...also, close to business on Bay Rd in case you forget any supplies...

It is a great place to spend with my grandchildren and watch them swim and I like the paddle boats

Haithco is one of Saginaw Countys five parks. This park is very beautiful and has many opportunities for everyones enjoyment.During the summer season the park offers kayak, canoe, paddle-boat, and rowboat rentals. If you have your own non-motorized boat, you simply pay for a very reasonably priced launch ticket and you are able to enjoy being out on the lake.Other opportunities at this park include fishing from two fishing docks, swimming at the beach, availability of pavilions on the north and south ends of the lake, grills and picnic tables throughout the park. If you are just looking for an opportunity to go on a walk, there is a trail going almost completely around the lake.The seasonal staff provides supervisors, lifeguards, booth attendants, and park rangers for your safety and assistance, as well as to keep the park well groomed.

A great park to visit. plenty of non-motorized boating, fishing, parking, picnic areas and woosaah... The lake is good-sized and has some waves that simulate the ocean; so if you need to listen to the water and meditate, this is a good spot. One con, the interstate runs along the east side of the lake, so traffic noises are present.

Nice picnic area to take the kids. They have weird rules for when you can rent the boats and whats available, like paddle boats were allowed but not row boats.

The park is very nice and well maintained. The rates are very acceptable, I attached 2 pictures of the parking pass with the specifics. The beach is very nice and they actually had a lifeguard on duty which is very nice for a local park.

Lifeguards on duty, plenty of grills and picnic tables. Paddle boats and boats to rent for a reasonable fee.

We had a great time went fishing and Rented a boat caught a fish they had very professional lifeguards and everything that you be safe and have a fun will go again.

Just drove around and checked out the beach. Very clean, easy to read signs and spacious. Roped off swimming area seems small but I would kayak or SUP at a location likes this. Well see how the water feels next year.

The water is disgusting, the sand is disgusting. Honestly doesnt even deserve one star, this place sucks more than a vacuum.

Haithco park is a wonderful place to swim, boat, play, or even just sit and relax with friends and family. Haithco park also provided everything we needed to put on a great party for family and friends. So wether you just wanna chill out on the lake or throw a party for family and friends there is no better place than Haithco park.

There is almost non existent playground. Was hoping to spend a fun afternoon with my son, ended up just disappointed. Plus there was someone doing drugs in a car in the parking lot.

Had a great time with my family at Haithco for my nephews birthday party. At the end of their party a few family members and I rented paddle boats from great friendly staff members with good pricing.

Worst beach ever. Its sad because the establishment itself is nice. The lifeguards are great. Its the people that go there. Mean kids.

They will not empty the trash when its full,, the kids they have working just ride around on the buggys and sit in the office even if you ask them theyll say yeah in a few,, even the older worker dont make them work.. LAZY KIDS AND MANGERS.. Please hire someone who WANTS TO WORK,, not someone who needs a paycheck..

Its nice. If you need some time at the beach but dont have much time to spare, stop in and sit in the sand. Or dont I dont know.

Close to home and fun for kids. We pack a picnic lunch and stay a while. If you go early you get a table to sit at, and some shade. The life guards watch over the people well and will call out those misbehaving. Its always clean and a fun day. Be aware of snapping turtles and little white fish with a black dot they draw blood and will bite. Only once did my daughter get swimmers itch here.

I love going here to swim or to have family picnics! I really appreciate the fact that they have really nice tables that you can sit at near the water! Our whole family loves playing in the sand or going swimming!

Beautiful grounds and false beach front. However, it was lacking in playground equipment. Nice stop for a picnic and a place for the kids to run and burn off energy. Lots of Canadian geese and their gifts.

Have my son birthday party there, and it was amazing. They have cleaned the beach as well as the park up very well.

This is a nice and clean place for the whole family to enjoy. Haithco has canoe, paddle rentals and you can bring your own boat. Also swimming and fishing. There are swing sets and BBQ grills to be utilized also. Haithco is a good time.

Beautiful park! Went here for a birthday party and it was maintained very well. Clean and well manicured. Even the portapotty was well maintained. The only complaint I have is the ridiculous amount of bees/yellow jackets. They where everywhere and was perilous to eat under the pavilion where we where, and they where all over the food. The park definitely needs to take take care of that, if there wasnt a pest problem the park would earn a 5 star rating from me. My advice would be to scout the pavilion you want before choosing.
