Wonderful time for the Valentines Special Edition Rocky horror picture show. Took a friend, and neither of us are currently rhps Virgins anymore.Nice, but old fashioned theater but they definitely need way more restroom facilities. Standing in that line was really nice because everyone was friendly and happy to be there. Not a usual thing to have multiple conversations with others in line, or different lines. But like I said everyone really wanted to be there.

Great place. Very nostalgic and could use a makeover in the near future. Always showing older and classic films. Rocky Horror Picture Show seems to be one of their favorites. Live music every now and then. This place reminds me somewhat of the K Street Theater when I was a kid. The only thing missing is the sidewalk concession stand.

Very old, but beautiful, clean, authentic. Loved the show. For the first time, I got to see a shadow cast of rocky horror picture show. I even dressed up as magenta. I had a great time. The service was great! Prices were good.

I absolutely love this place!! I came here at least twice a year for the sinister creature con. I plan on coming out more. It theater is much larger than it appears which is fantastic, there are lots of seats, the place is always clean, the staff are super kind friendly and very helpful, and they have good food. Also located next door is a cafe( which i highly recommend) if your looking to drink or have more food/meal. I suggest everyone check this place out!!!

This place is great for a local showing. Feels very family orientated.

This theater is great. Always showing great movies and even holding shadow cast events for certain showing. Definitely recommend it for a date night or even just going out with some friends. With its antique type look and feel still intact, its certainly a place for a good night.

This review is ment to help. I rented the theatre and was very disappointed at the quality. They have a 1080i / 720p projector that looks like 480, with color problem and the bulb is super dim, you have to crank up the noise to get just bearly enough light. If you dont have a VERY ENTERTAINING movie, your audience will be Very disappointed in the experience. Even for the cheap price it was not worth it. I hope the theatre can take this constructive critizium and improve on their Theatrical screening aspect of their business.

The place is an aging beauty. Very run down and in need of rennovation. If refurbished it could be a gem in downtown Sac.

Came here to watch a show and the show was awesome. It was such a big theater. It seems small from the outside but nice decent size when you walk into the show room. The front room is a but small though but thats okay. The food was well priced too. Average for what you would normally pay for.

Fantastic staff. But the projector was way too low for the performance and sound was waaay too muffled. We still had fun, but...

The old colonial theater is still a venue you can see many different artist perform everything from comedy, dance groups, Rock & Roll, R&B, Rap, local and otherwise. Great ownership and staff.

While I absolutely loved the concert I went to and how small and intimate the place is. It needs some serious updating. 90% of the seats were broked, ripped, stained...etc. The seats and not numbered and do not match up with the tickets they sell.

We went to the Rocky Horror Picture Show with shadow cast & it was a total BLAST!! It should be something on everyones bucket list!!
