My partner and I saw Jasper and FELL IN LOVE with Big Idea Theatre. The show was fantastic, innovative, and kept me interested until the very end, and the theatre was beautiful and warm and homely. We had a great time and will make excuse after excuse to come back.

This is SUCH a terrific theater group. Small venue, but sensational, every bit as wonderful as Capitol Stage & Sac Theater Co. TREVOR was Very Funny, tragic & engaging. the 2 men who played chimps were SO CONVINCING, (even without fur costumes). The white tuxedo made us laugh our butts off every single time this Talented actor came on the set.(he was great as Anthony against Cleopatra too). Were so lucky to have such great theater in Sacramento. A nice bonus is to go to MAMA KIMS for a dynamite & reasonable dinner before the show, 10 ft. away (& a nice gallery too).

Im a big fan of Big Idea Theatre. Ive seen four performances here and each time they are really well executed. They utilize their small stage well and the actors are excellent at their craft. Many a laugh and tear shed here. Come out to see a show!

Watched Bootycandy. The venue was intimate, and the production was really stellar. It would have been a bargain at a far higher price than we paid. Best date night in a long time.

I’ve seen over half a dozen shows since I found this little gem of a theatre. I’ve laughed here, I’ve cried, I’ve taken dates, invited friends, and I look forward to the emails reminding me of the next show to come. It has a very intimate atmosphere. You won’t understand the magic that happens here until you go see for yourself. Buy tickets! Donate! Keep this place going forever, please.
