I visited for the first time with my mother and took her to see All That Jazz. Excellent production. The area was kept up and gorgeous and a parking garage was directly across the street. It is handicap accessible and everyone was super friendly. I will be returning. Wonderful entertainment.

Great place to watch local theater. In the main stage, rows A, C and K are a bit higher than the other rows. Row J is the first row J of the second section and its ok, but foot traffic can be an issue. This place also has two bathrooms for women and one for men. You can bring food and drink into the theater, but they ask that you dont eat during the show. On street parking is plentiful, but the city aggressively tickets. Large parking lot just across from theater. TV in the lounge area displaying show in real time so you dont miss a scene.

The sevice is amazing, and the show they put on was truly priceless! Thank you to all the actors who performed the tragedy Hamlet by Shakespeare. It truly was a masterpiece.

I thoroughly enjoyed the production . There isnt a bad seat in the house. The group I was with, all of us had such a great time.

A delightful evening of entertainment! I brought three of my friends to see A Christmas Carol and we all LOVED it!I would recommend it as a must-see to get you in spirits of Christmas. Bring your family as your kids will enjoy it!Each and every actor is beautifully cast and performs magnificently! I originally started going to the STC because of a class I was taking. I have now come to love the theatre. Theyre cheap have good priced drinks during intermission, free coffee etc. My wife and I have turned it into an opportunity to have dinner and see a show. If you enjoy live theater and live in Sacramento you must go.

Wonder filled evening! We attended an opening night event in the main theater. Arrived early for the pre-show talk. The executive director is hilariously funny. The venue is cozy and you can see well from every seat. Theres a good reason this company has been delivering theatre for 75 years. Parking is easy. The location is easy to get to. There is good dining all around. Treat yourself to an evening on the town. I doubt you could do better than this.

What a great show. Disaster was funny, energetic and very entertaining. The cast was excellent in their roles. I happen to have the honor of knowing Devin Weiser and of course I am extremely prejudiced regarding her singing, dancing and acting ability. I predict she will go on to be a top performer in her chosen field!

Nice small to medium sized theater! The stage is too close for comfort for the first few rows. I dont suggest sitting in the first 3 or 4 rows. The lobby is nice and big. Small concessions for intermission. They just had some coffee and cookies of the sort.

I have seen The Crucible and A Christmas Carol at STC and both have impressed me greatly. The difference in those two shows is large and showcases the versatility and range of the company.Their engagement with young artists alongside professional thespians (actors) is inspiring. Truly a training ground for the next generation of artists while also providing quality productions.Come see their shows, you wont regret it!

Such a wonderful performance! No details were left out and we thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this experience from ticket purchase to parking to the staff and actors. I Google recommend you check out a show when the next season begins because itll surely be top notch!

We have been season subscribers to this local venue for years. Love love love love!!!!! Nothing like live theater and to be able to get up close and personal is a bonus. There is not a bad seat for any of the stages. This Season of Fate, Fantasy, and Forgiveness is another phenomenal series! Check out a show, but be warned you might get hooked! I look forward to my monthly date time here.

Very pleasant experience! Really good acting! Extremely positive! They have a few scenes for both big spectacles and small cameral ones! Actor play is good. And they also do some lessons for anyone interested!

David Taylor Gomes, who played 8 characters and the piano in Murder for Two was beyond talented. Amazing production all the way around!

STC has been keeping the standards alive forever. There is a comfort to their maintaining the culture of theater. Their cabaret spotlights musical talent with a tribute to great songs and songsters.

Perfect place to take in a show, often put on with professional actors honing their craft in a smaller market. Comfortable seating and a great audio visual experience as well. Often with a live orchestra which is a real treat!

Broadway comes to Sacramento in the summer is their theme and this is very true. Come enjoy theater in the round while you can. This is an institution in Sacramento and we are lucky to have it here in river city.

Ive been to a few performances here. Both for children and adults. It is a great local theater that puts on charming performances. The production quality is quite impressive.

Very small, intimate theater. Order a cup of wine with cash and take it into the theater. Great shows are performed here with a skeleton crew. Quite impressive.

We saw an amazing production of A Christmas Carol in December 2017!

Great local theater company. We saw a production of Sherlock Holmes play The Hound of the Baskervilles. The acting was very impressive, and the set design was very creative and very very good, especially considering the fact that this is a smaller theater company. Theater itself was small but intimate, and there really isnt a bad seat in the house. We will definetly be back, and are considering buying season tickets for next year.
