Fantastic trail, bridge, mill ruins, and waterfall that are a must see if you are in or visiting Roswell. Parking is free and fills up fast on the weekend, so would recommend coming early if you dont plan on circling the parking lot for a space for 20 minutes. There are trails located on both sides leading up to the falls that are a short and easy walk, as well as a bigger trail network if you want to take a longer walk/hike as part of your visit.

This is my favorite trail after getting off work. I used to walk with AOC friends. Whenever I walk on the familiar trail, I feel relaxed. There are many branches of the trails, one can choose different combinations of the branches as needed. The trails are mostly covered, some of them are easy, others arent. it would be 4.7 miles based on Alltrails if keep on outside trail to circle around. You would find deers if you are lucky, theres also a mysterious plane ruin. At the trailhead, the covered bridge and the ruins of the 19 century textile mills would always touch Georgian heart, or become a nostalgic visual art. With the sound of waterfalls and golden sunset, my soul is fascinated by these good old days.Parking is limited, its even crowded in the summer, bring your swimsuits if youre prepared to spend long time at the waterfall area. There are different parking lots that can access to the trail, they all have limited parking spaces.

This place is a wonderful for not only hiking on trails but also photography. I got my maternity photos taken here and so glad it was recommended. The bridge and the river were beautiful as well as the brick buildings for rustic photos. It’s not a hard walk even for an 8 month pregnant lady. Highly recommend this spot for photoshoots.

On of my favorite parks in the metro Atl area. The waterfall is beautiful year round, and you can either do a quick hike around the waterfall or take an extended afternoon walk on the miles of trails that are behind it. They are really building up the park in recent years as well, with new stairs leading to the hike and the river, statues, etc. And dont forget about the old mill remains! Really worth the trip

Very good time pass, one trail is short (to the falls) and other has lot of steps and not advisable for aged people and soon to be mothers. Ive visited this place multiple times at different part of the year and the best time would be between Oct-DecPlace near the falls is not ideal for picnic (there arent any grill station) but people get their portable grills and hangout. Water is not more than knee deep even when it is at its full force. Good for small children.

Great place for a hike and plenty of little nooks to explore. It’s pet friendly and there’s plenty of wildlife to see. One down side is so many people choose to do photo shoots here on the weekends. With the photo shoots comes the entourage that inevitably blocks the pathways for hikers. Avoid on the weekends and you’re in for one of Roswell treasures.

Beautiful place to walk with our dog. You can view the falls from a nice overlook area, walk along the fast flowing Creek, and enjoy the very scenic covered bridge that crosses over the water. There is also some cool remains from the old Mill that was here years ago. This is a very popular area for professional photographers as there is always someone having professional shots taken when I visit the area. I highly recommend visiting this unique place.

This place is amazing. Super cool how they did this. The trails were well maintained and well thought outOnly problem was how much trash was there. Used diapers, water bottles, everywhere. This isnt the fault of the park or its staff. But the nasty people who left it there. Trash cans everywhere empty with trash next to it, absolutely trashy people. If it was picked up this place would be an amazing tourist destination.

Beautiful hike hidden in historic Roswell, with its own waterfall. Multiple paths to follow. You can walk down the cliffs (carefully), even saw some people go into the water! No mosquitoes this time of year (pre-summer) even though it was a hot day.Witnessed a lot of people getting professional portraits taken here- young couples newly engaged, a young family with a new baby, a large family gathered together. The rustic bridge surrounded by nature makes for a good backdrop.Nearby is the little town of old Roswell, with a main street full of eclectic restaurants, eateries, and pubs, as well as unique home decor and antiques shops.Great place to eat brunch, lunch, or dinner. But be warned, Sunday brunch/lunch time is packed, at every restaurant, so plan ahead with reservations or an early arrival. Wait times average 15-30 min.

I went here with my toddler on a very rainy day. Besides the cool old mill equipment to check out, the trail itself has some very nice features, the first being that its walkable even with all the rain because theres some gravel or something on the floor. Then theres a sandy spot right next to the river and my son spent a long time playing there. The place was super clean.

Absolutely beautiful place with great variety of very well marked trails. You can get to the falls from two trails, one is quite easier and the other more adventurous route - need to climb stairs, use a rope, etc. (adventurous route not recommended for old people, pregnant women, etc.)Unfortunately the falls are not wheelchair / stroller accessible; so if you want to swim - plan accordingly. Not too crowded most of the times and I would say, you might want to avoid going here if it rains. The trail slopes could get very slippery. There is also a place to do BBQ! Overall a very pretty place for a family outing with kids.

Its a beautiful little gem in downtown Roswell. Man-made waterfall and lovely covered foot bride. A nice place for light hiking. There is usually adequate parking. The trails are fairly well maintained. But, there are lots of trails that have been blazed by visitors. The trail guide map is terrible! Its actually part of a larger trail system that I have yet to have figured out. They need to revise it and encourage visitors not to go off trail.

One of my absolute favorites that Ive discovered so far. Its almost a hidden gem. I came up to visit a friend from Mobile, Alabama and while she was working she had made a list of state parks around the area, she knew I loved to be outside and explore. This was one of the parks she suggested, so I took a chance and went and I have to say Im glad to have discovered this breathtaking park. The parking can be a little tricky if you dont get there early but it almost seems like this is a hidden park in the middle of town. The Falls is an easy hike to get to and the trails are pretty good to take on the other side. Let me say the falls are breathtaking, and the fact that you can actually get into and under the waterfall is even better. There is an old Mill that you can see the parts still resting on the ground. I ended up staying all day while my friend was at work. Its that peaceful, the best part is it was also my birthday that weekend which made it even more special. I ended up going back a second time before leaving to head back to Alabama and getting in the Waterfall. I would be back in a heartbeat! Cant say enough about this beautiful hidden gem.

Beautiful park in heart of Roswell with ruins of old mill, pedestrian covered wooden bridge and beautiful, I believe manmade falls over small dam in addition to hiking trail. All can be ideal for photography but I think professional photographers need a city permit.Parking could be tight on weekend given the parking area is shared with surrounding restaurants and stores. It certainly worth visiting if in area, and repeat visiting if you live not far in metro Atlanta.

This place is absolutely a stunner specially if you talk about its location which is mainly residential and within the city.its beautiful and peaceful and best to spend your weekend to relax and play with water. This part of vickery has the parking lot and you need to walk down through wooden trail and see the beautiful site of water fall, however to reach the water you need to climb Little Rocks and rough patch as there’s no specific path made to go down and hence I took one star off cos its little dangerous if you have infants or small kids. If you come from the other side of vickery creek you’ll find it perfect for tracking under the lush green shadow of trees and after tracking half an hour you’ll find the falls. Map markings are adequate for people to stay on the tracks.

BEAUTIFUL place for adventurous nature lover types. I found out about this place from models who had done photoshoots here. A few tips: Bring bug spray!!! And the safest path to the waterfalls is before crossing the big bridge. After crossing that bridge its a steep descent. Be careful its slippery going down that side but its a better view of the falls from the steep side down.
