What a lovely place. Walking paths and beautiful swans swimming in the pond and coi fish right beneath them. Plants and trees of different sorts. There was even a and groom getting their pictures taken and what a nice place to do that.Also, a nice path that runs along the Rock River.Beautiful place.... enjoy!

Did the Christmas walk. This Covid year Sinnissippi out did themselves on the lights. Very nice.

Beautiful and well maintained. Loved the Japanese garden. On the shore off the great Sinnissippi River! The river front has a long trail for running, biking, walking or skating. The gardens are nice for strolling. Next time we go. We will bring our bikes and spend a little more time in the area.

Sinnissippi Gardens is a beautiful place to visit while in Rockford. So many varieties of trees and plants to walk around and look at. There is a wonderful walking path and a beautiful pond with little creeks running into it. The pond is full of goldfish, ducks swimming around, frogs and even a pair of beautiful swans! Waterfalls too! There is a giant green house building full of tropical plants. It was closed so I wasnt able to enter this time. Lots of people everywhere, familys with kids, single people, all enjoying this beautiful place! Everyone polite, nice and saying hi to each other!

Such a gem to have this in the center of our town. The beautiful rose garden, the conservatory, the Trolley and so much more. One of my favorite places to go and take a stroll to decompress from the day.

The gardens at Sinnissippi Park are absolutely beautiful! What a wonderful place to go to marvel at Gods gorgeous creation! The roses in late June are pretty, but a week or two beyond the peak. The middle of July should be the peak of the second round of roses. It is so beautiful with the trellises, the waterfalls and the swans and geese. Its a beautiful place to take a walk with your friends and family.

Walking through the garden and looking at the flowers was fun. Ducks and swans and gigantic goldfish. Only downside was while my friend was checking out the goldfish I was avoiding the blackbirds, which, as the sign says, may attack.

Rockford Park District goes to Great Lengths to keep Sinnissippi clean and beautiful. Its one of the few places in Rockford that is not littered with garbage and debris. Nice place to go for a walk, relax and see the true beauty in nature.

The gardens provide a glorious array of several varieties of eye-catching rose bushes. If you love flowers and adore roses, this is the place to visit! No filter on any of the pictures. The roses are naturally that vibrant!

The Tuesday night food truck event was an absolute blast in a beautiful area with plenty of space! Excellent variety of food options. Great fun for a date night, meet-up with friends, or an outing for the whole family!

Beautiful inside and outside garden. Small. Can do this in a short period of time. Went on Tuesday for the $3/ticket and Food Trucks. It was a lot of fun. Right on the river. Busy. Great bike and walking path connected.

Went around 8:30 pm. Walked to bridge going north and back. Not to crowded at that time but not alone either. Well lite in areas.

Very nice park - went there for Food Truck Tuesday a couple of times.... Food is very good at all of the vendors we visited.

Its a cool place to walk around and enjoy time outside. All the attractions are so pretty

The park was clean, people were wearing masks and doing social distancing, the weather was beautiful, we ate lunch here. It was a really nice clean, neat park.

Food Truck ThursdaysThis was the best idea ever. I enjoy supporting locally owned businesses and this event offered a great escape during this pandemic. The vendors were friendly and added there own personal special touch to provide excellent service. I tried a jerk philly, from the Jammin Jerk Grill and it was so delicious.

Beautiful and peaceful, right next to the river. Huge koi fish in the pond. Roses seemed a little thin this year. Lots of little books to sit in.

A place to go to if you love flowers. If you want to walk along the Rock River in Rockford, IL then this is the place to go. There are bike trails and walking paths all around. In the summer there is a tram that goes along the riverfront and there is a garden with many different varieties of Roses. Walk around and you will get to them.

I’ve watched this pond and area grow to all this wonder from a small duck pond we sometimes skated on.

Great place to take the kids and for a walk they have a small playground best suited for kids 6 or under and it is right on the river which can be pretty relaxing. If your looking for something a little more interactive the YMCA and Nicholas conservatory are also located off the path within walking distance.

The Sinnissippi Gardens are Fabulous as well as Beautiful I give them an for their Gardens. Its the perfect place to stroll with your Friends or Loved Ones all year round ! Fish ponds, Ive seen many birds come here to bathe Ive seen weddings groups here taking photographs, cotillion groups as well as families and they have seating areas as well as indoor climate controlled house for exotic plants ... And The Most Beautiful Christmas light displays in Winnebago County ...We Love ya Rockford

Nice clean place. Gardens are enjoyable both inside and outside. Tuesday theyve been having food trucks and the indoor garden admission is lower, but very busy. Sadly they dont have recycling bins and parking can get tough on Tuesdays during the warm months, but theres a nice walking path.

Sinnissippi Garden is a beautiful place I love looking out on the water and watching the people exercise and do jobs

Very beautiful park. The night lights during the winter holiday were beautiful. Public restrooms are available. You can also go here for an outdoor wedding venue. I am not sure on the cost but this place is beautiful in the spring and summer.
