The dog park is amazing. It has three separate sections. The first one is a large, mostly clear area with a small portion of wooded area. The second and third sections are as large if not larger, but are completely wooded with trails cut through.

What a great park! Big enough to support multi-sport, multi-team games and meets. Space for bus parking, a tree-lined drive and a dog park to boot. A gem of a park in Rockford. Travel during the day and with others. This particular area in Rockford is infamous for bad behavior and known for crime.

I love searls its a gorgeous prairie.

Always well kept and clean. The grass is always cut and there is a dog park there, too. There are light posts but they arent on during the night. Maybe they are for special events or sports games. The lights at the dog park are on and thats good.

My great nephew is into bmx racing so thats why I was out to this park

There is some very friendly ppl there that are welcoming to newcomers and those who have just adopted a dog. The hiking trails are great for your dog to run unleashed and explore. Just make sure you read the rules for the park

We walked the Prairie restoration, which is beautiful! The heat and the mosquitos were the only detractors, so be sure to bring water and bug repellant!

Great place to be outside and having fun

Took my kids here for a BMX race. We had blast. Awesome top notch facility. I would highly recommend anybody bew to the sport come here and try it out. I will be coming back year after year.

Another great park. They have park equipment for the kids to play on and a baseball field. Pet friendly and an educational center. Great to take the kids to and spend family time. During the summer they have horses out in the field and offer rides. Trails and creek. Easy to spend the whole day there.

Plenty of things to do as far as physical activity goes. Baseball, biking, running, plenty of field space for field-type sports.... Its even a stones throw away from Lockwood park, which has a huge playground, as well as a bunch of live animals and a (seasonal) petting zoo

The Canine Corners Dog Park is such a great place to take your dog and meet really friendly people. The dog park is always maintained and you can tell the people who take their dogs there really care about this park. There’s a nice wooded area to walk your dogs, there’s also always dogs there anytime of theWeek. Me and my family love taking our dog there for some much needed running and getting worn out.

Best BMX track in the midwest, not much to see other than that. There’s a nice bike path that goes all the way to auburn street in Rockford

Nice park for a walk. The path leads to northwest community center or you can walk the other end until you reach talcott page Park. (Not sure if I spelled that correctly) but I just walk on the path but they have a dog park and a baseball diamond. Bmx track as well.

Nice and quiet, a couple people and myself peacefully walking their dogs, feel pretty safe there, so far, for being close to city. Hasnt been ruined yet.

WONDERFUL Dog Park and Trails in the Woods! ;-)

This park is meticulously maintained. A separate open and wooded.area thats fenced 4 you and your beloved dog/S. The trails are asphalted along w a center yellow line for division. I moved out here from McHenry County and Im quite surprised at how well the Park is cared for along w the great condition of the trails, picnic benches are strategically placed 4 a rest or lunch. An extremely quiet area is what you will find here. If your lucky you may see the Deer. The Park also backs up to a.Nature Reserve by the State. No hunting is allowed. Truly a beautiful place. Conservation along w Rockford PD regularly drive around and thru this area. 2 Baseball diamonds in excellent condition along w a Softball diamond. On the other end is Searles BMX Club. Both areas can be reached by Safford Rd and Central Ave.
