I love sitting and observing the crows in this park. Its very cool seeing them fly in at dusk every night in the fall.

I was there for a sister rally to the Womens March on Washington. Its a nice park, very open. A little muddy because of the January thaw. The city and organizers did a great job putting the rally together and the location was conducive to the event. It was a little disappointing that police closed down exits off the 490, causing some folks to be late or miss the rally entirely, but I understood why they did it. The exits ran right into the crowd and could have caused a safety issue. Great event, great location.

A historical landmark at the center of Rochester. I love walking through here!

Nice, small inner city park. A few benches to enjoy a coffee or feed the pigeons. Weve been there a couple times for social justice events, and once to do an open singaround in the park. Nothing special, but a bit of green amid the citys buildings is a nice break.

Washington square park is its name.Abraham Lincoln is the statue and Franklin Douglas is underneath(just like every park in the city).Additional, drunks passed out all round and used needles all around the area.Maybe the city should try and clean their parks up and make them usable. Its pretty disgraceful to name a park after our first president and look like it dose, and not have it historically accurate.

In the heart of downtown lots of trash cans, shade and benches. Perfect for an out door lunch or meeting.

Ive been to many protests here. Right near the Geva theater too. You can rub shoulders with the homeless and the desperate if feeling dirty turns you on or if this is your way of roughing it.

So much deep history in this park, the same park where human rights have been fought for since Susan B Anthony fought for the right to vote. All the way up until today as Rochester youth fight for the right to live.

This is a great example of a historical downtown city park. Classically laid out preserved green space with marble war memorials and mature trees.
