Decent place to play disc golf at, if you arent worried about a potential water hazard along and in front of 2-3 holes. At this location, everything plays as a par 3, even though the signs might call a hole or two a par 4 or 5. Only hole 9 has you throwing over the creek; although some like to play 8 as if you should throw over the water as well. All the tee boxes are paved and there is new signage with each hole (new as of last year or so). This park used to be sketchy with homeless people hanging out in the wooded area; however, those areas have been cut down and there are a lot less trees (along the edge of the course). There are short and long tees as well for a potentially 18 hole course.

I LOVE this park because not only does it have a kid-sized playground, but it also has a toddler-sized playground! And the playgrounds are surrounded by sand, which my toddler loves!

The park playground is great, has swings a big and smaller playset. The pavilion is a little gross. The porta-potty was super gross. So go to the park, bring cleaning supplies if you wanna use the pavilion and bring toilet paper.

Decent to look over the water, my kids had fun roaming it. Its not as dirty as it was growing up, seeing it after 15yrs was a nice experience. The homeless feeling under the shelter or bathrooms could use work up. If it really is med ci tf y now, than maybe Mayo should focus on their town before just the beauty of their neighborhood. The park was nice, and had fun toys for my kids, and cleanliness was good, just needs a touch of human and not so empty.

Ive heard negative comments but Ive been there many times...multi cultural park and always had fun there no matter what people may say....alot to do there even horseshoes....too bad you see alot of parks with few people nowadays considering the towns population...really need to start more park events in neighborhoods . I think that would really help bring communities together more...please know thy neighbors!....I did at one time try to start music in the park where lone musicians could come out and just jam together!...still will work on that....start or build it and they will come!

This disc park is terrific for those who want to enjoy a more relaxed round of play than can be found at the other public course in town! The area is a junction for many bike paths, has a decent sized playground for children, a shelter with restrooms, two ball diamonds, and two horseshoe pits. The neighbors are dedicated to keeping the space safe for all to enjoy!

It was a very clean park. We went to try the disc golf for the first time . It was a simple 9 hole course. Small water hazard but not really an issue. Id rate it a beginner or medium coarse because of the trees. Holes were well labeled and each had two tees. Bonus there wasnt goose poop everywhere like a was expecting

Excellent Urban park. Gazebo with grill, restrooms, water fountain-open spring to fall. Frisbee golf, bike trails, river, baseball diamond with lights, playground for the kids, plenty of off street parking, no real bad elements hanging around-very family friendly. Only bad news is that the park closes at, I think, 10pm.

Ive been coming here to play frisbee golf with friends for the past 2 and a half years. Its pet friendly. It looks close to the main road (12th St by Cub foods), but kinda confusing to get to the parking lot the first time because you go through a lot of neighborhood first. The disc golf course is fairly straight forward if you read the post numbers; otherwise theres usually at least one other person around who can tell you the order. Anyway. There is a creek running between you and the last basket, which always makes for an interesting challenge. Also another long-shot that runs parallel to the bank. Many of our frisbees have been claimed by the shallow depths of the mighty Bear Creek. Thankfully, the water is shallow, and unless youre playing at night, weve retrieved 98% of them! In fact, its easier to lose your disc in the tall grass/reeds along the edges of the course during baskets 1-3 (and 6?) than it is in the creek, imo! So far, I like playing in the fall because some of that tall weedy grass has been cut away so you dont have to worry about trudging around for hours trying to find your stupid disc! lol.
