Nice quiet neighborhood. And theres a tire swing. What kid doesnt like a tire swing?
Great place to hang out with our granddaughter and enjoy Misfit Donuts!
Little clean park. Nice and quiet.
Love having this little park in the neighborhood! Always pleasant with great shade. I do wish the city would stay more up to date on the maintenance, though. Often there is a swing missing (as there was today) and this entire season much of the park that is usually mulched was overgrown by grass creeping in.
A little dirty. Dogs running around and not on a leash.
Kids love the tire swing
A nice quiet park on Gregory. Everything was in good shape and easy for both my 5 and 3 year olds to play on.
Pleasant green space surrounded by quiet streets. Not too crowded, but always a few kids on the monkey bars and some adults throwing a ball back and forth. There were even some hoop dancers practicing last time I walked by.
Nice neighborhood park to relax in. Its clean and well groomed. Theres a portosan too, and a playground!
Very clean and respectful place for a fellowship Community too gather.
Nice scenery
Some kids were playing kick ball, others on the swings, and slides. Met some nice moms and dads, while we chatted about our jobs and summer weather. Perfect night for a walk with my kids.
Love it here! I mean, how can one not love a park. Our kickball team plays here pretty regularly, so Ive gotten my fair share of visits in here. Theres lots of flat, open space for any sort of sports you want to play. If youre into hiking/jogging, theres also a really nice trail that goes through the park and takes you over the canal.
Nice spot to run your dog, have a picnic or barbecue or bring your kids to the playground. However, the little league sized ball field (it has a mound, though its poorly-maintained) isnt playable beyond the infield: Theres a crater in centerfield the size of a meteor, a drainage sinkhole down the leftfield line, and numerous hidden ankle-eaters scattered throughout the outfield.
Dirty
You may not know but this park is named for the long-time principal of the elementary school (now condominiums) next door. Prior to suburban sprawl this block was all private residences. Towards the 1970s, the area was inflicted with poverty, and many homes were vacant or demolished here. It then became priority in the neighborhood to design a park a park, which would later become Marie Daley Park. The park has helped the neighborhood to attract young families, and bring life and community back to the South wedge
Nice place to take the kids
Comfortable relaxing park. Great atmosphere, good energy..
One of the best parks for a cookout with friends. Great playground for the kids and a baseball diamond for the public as well as a water closet.
Very peaceful and open area for a variety of activities including stuff for kids to climb on.
Cute little park in the South Wedge. Has a small playground for kids and several picnic tables and a few grills.
