Every time my boyfriend and I come in here it gets so uncomfortable that we get anxious and end up leaving. you guys can not be standing on top of your customers, following us aisle to aisle- especially during a pandemic. I understand you don’t want people stealing, but you’re also hurting your sales. the young guys with the brown curly hair followed my boyfriend from the model cars to the gundams asking him three times if there’s something he can get for him, not following the social distancing rules of course. then I’m looking at the stained glass window pieces, and eventually the resin aisle and the older woman that’s working back there is standing on top of me watching like a hawk. him and I met back up and agreed to just leave because it was so weird. someone is always watching you. with your prices, you guys should have no issue investing in security cameras.

Great store for all ages, something for the whole family, nice selection of models.

I went in looking for a kit for an 8 year olds birthday. Waited for a salesperson for help. He took me to the display and explained bit. I looked and found what I thought might be good. Continued looking and pickup up something for him for Christmas. All in under 30 minutes.

It is a nice place. Web site said they had a few things I needed that they didnt. Wasted an hours drive. By the way. I did go on the website and it said what I wanted was there lol

My 4 year old loves making the trip out to Dans crafts and things anytime he gets any money from family. Great selection of toys for him to pick from. He loves playing with the train tables when we go there. Things are a bit pricey but Im sure its because they take a while to turn over their inventory.

Very nice staff and a HUGE variety of everything including crafts from decades ago! Dans Crafts is like a museum and if youre a crafter or even looking for super cool or educational gifts, this is your place. I stopped in there for one item and spent two hours there! Their prices are fair too.

The staff is extremely knowledgeable. And customer service is great they show you everything you need to know to get started j. Your new hobby before you walk out the door.

This store has a definite hometown vibe. They cost a bit more than say a Walmart but carry items that are quality but hard to find. The staff at the RC counter seem knowledgeable and they have a large selection of just about everything.

A great place for many different models and toy cars and the like. The craft section was a little less exciting then I was hoping. Has a target audience that is different than I anticipated, but is filled with lots of interesting stuff.

Dont waste your time at a chain store. If you have a hobby in R/C or crafts THIS IS THE PLACE TO SHOP. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful, the selection......INSANE. Ill probably be able to take care of 80% of my Xmas shopping in this one store.

First off, this is a great place supporting most hobbies out there. And since I didnt see anything on their website or in the reviwes here Ill say it myself. Yes they do have model kit paints. They have essentially half a wall dedicated to them. I was able to find every paint i needed from here. Its an amazing place!!!

My brother and I bought our first u-control plane there about 35+ years ago. Weve been customers ever since. Lots of fun hobbies there.. R/C, trucks, crafts, rockets, models, trains... You name it. Everyone was and still very nice there.

I have been going there since I was a kid, I would say like 20 years. Place is very nice has lost of stuff for any hobbyists.. I go there for the RC stuff, but it can be hit or miss with the staff they can be helpful or rude. Especially the older gentlemans that work there...They think they know everything.. As part of Dans Craft and Things free dividend program, I just received a $5 birthday voucher, in a card, that was addressed to me and signed by their employees. This just doesnt happen nowadays. Dans is one of my go to craft stores. They have all sorts of neat things that you may not find someplace else. The staff are always friendly and ready to help. Its also a great place to go if youre looking for a little gift for someone.

Great selection of niche crafts. Staff seem to be just a bit under trained when it comes to accepting forms of payment. I would recommend updating the training manual on accepting chip cards. Signatures are no longer required.

Well stocked crafts and kits store. Lots of different categories ranging from kids crafts to model trains and RC planes and cars to model equipment. Employees are friendly and helpful, giving good and detailed advice on the multitude of products. Very fun to walk around and explore!

First off I understand the circumstances of everything going on in the world right now and people not being able to go into the store, but I called in to get some information on parts and I talked with a guy named Doug and he was extremely rude and ignorant on the phone. I grew up coming here for craft projects and now I love to get cool gifts that I cant find elsewhere. A great option for unique things with great prices at a local store. I cant wait until my daughter is old enough to come pick out craft projects with me!

My favorite manager that is very knowledgeable and a complete asset to the company is Maria! She helps with everything! Anytime I ever need anything for crochet to ordering drawing pens or something my daughter needs she’s on top of it! You are lucky to have her at this store and you’d be smart to make sure you tell her that!I have been shopping at this store since I was a young child with my Dad! My first dollhouse was from here!

When my father was 88 years old he built a radio controlled model sailboat and acquired the kit and all components from Dans. The staff was very helpful in guiding all purchases and all pricing was certainly appropriate. All sails and the rudder are controlled via radio control and she sails like a dream. Dans is the best place for hobby supplies in our area..

We love this store. What a hidden GEM. they have all sorts of crafts and hobbies that you would have never expected. Amazing train selection and slot cars along with a great kids section we did our christmas shopping here, and are not dissapointed.

Im so happy I found Dans about 10 years ago! They have everything you can imagine for any craft or hobby imaginable. Theres always staff available who know about all their stock and can answer any question. Between my wife and I, weve found great material for beads, woodwork, calligraphy, paints, stamp pads, model ships and spacecraft. I wish I had infinite time and money to explore the RC planes, boats and cars, model trains and air brush painting. Just started with Metal Earth models - they have them all with tools and displays. Dans also does courses on every kind of craft. They really know how to stimulate a child, whether youre 4, 44 or 94 years old. I always look forward to the annual birthday card and coupon they send. Theyre worth driving 4 hours from across the border! Havent found their equal anywhere.

Large selection of hobby items and kids craft kits and building toys, especially model trains. Prices are slightly above online prices elsewhere but employees are available and knoweldgable which is well worth the extra cost. Lots of demos for kids to play with while parents shop.

Not many places like this left in the world. Im sure they lose a lot of business to ecommerce. For that reason, you get nothing but friendly and supportive staff here... and if youre looking to get into a hobby, they are always welcoming and not elitist about anything. Recently came to look at telescopes. Bottom line, support this business.

I just stopped in today, but I gotta say, I was born in New York, but Ive lived in Florida all my life. After mentioning you guys to my mom, she was surprised to hear you guys are still around. She used to live nearby. But, after browsing gundam kits, I immediately found 2 I wanted!! Even some of the tools I wanted for xmas were in stock too!! Soooo awesome! Everyone is so friendly! Ive shopped at Dans for well over a decade. They have a great selection of all sorts of trains and models and crafting supplies. My main attraction at Dans is the RC section. Ive purchased a couple RC trucks and drones from them and Ive always had good customer service.

The hobby I went for is model rocketry, and there is a good supply of kits, parts, and engines. And paints and other finishing supplies. And lots of other craft and hobby stuff to browse. Its about an hour and a half from home, and worth the trip.
