Ive been a photographer most of my life. Sometimes professionally, sometimes as an advanced hobbyest. Im retired now but occasionally take commissions. Recently my wife asked me to reprint some photos for a work colleague who fell in love with a large wall display of photos I did for a board room in her offices.I took the photos to Alice. She immediately pulled the right frame sample off the wall for each of the prints I brought in - nailed it on the first try. She has an incredible eye for the right frame, matte, glass - the whole package.These were large prints: 40 x 40 color canvas on a stretched frame up to a b&w print 70 x 30 and a three print series of b&w that were to hang next to each other. Her framing was impeccable. In the last 6 months she has framed 11 large prints for me. Everyone was meticulously done - perfect in every way, not to mention strikingly beautiful.Even though print finishing was part of my training when I worked in a studio during my formative years, I wouldnt think of taking my prints to anyone else, much less frame them myself, even though I have a complete framing workshop in my home. If you want your prints done right - framed so you can be proud to hang them, I suggest you dont consider anyone else as your framer.

A company doesnt stay in business since 1983 if they provide terrible service or products. With that said, Framers Workshop is my wife and my go to place for framing. Since moving into our house seven years ago, Alice has made my photographs and art look like museum pieces in our house. You will not be disappointed.
