This is a great hidden gem for any car lover! The Model T Ford Museum is made up of two different buildings, filled with a variety of Model T cars, trucks, tractors, and specialty vehicles (snowmobile, veggie delivery truck, fire engine, carnival truck, airplane). Justin was an awesome host! He provided a great history lesson on each car at the museum, answered ALL our questions, and pulled a couple of books from the museums library for us to look through. I loved the variety of advertising, clothing, and tools on display. Some of the vehicles are donated to the museum while others are on loan. The museum offers a well-rounded look at transportation history.

Don’t miss this gem! This isn’t just a car collection; it’s an excellent representation of the Model T phenomenon. The volunteers were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The Depot area of Richmond is worth exploring after your visit, too.

This is a smallish museum, but the cars are top notch and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The Model T gift shop is very nice. I very much enjoyed the visit and it is inexpensive.

Stopped here for an impromptu road trip & happy we did. Normally, I wouldnt be writing a review for a museum but this place was worth it, primarily for our entertaining guide which was really knowledgeable & comic worthy. Totally must see, its not a long tour ( an hour maybe?) Parking is great & theres a perfect restaurant across the street. 10 stars if we could!

We loved seeing where all of the cars were from and reading the information on them. The old snow mobiles and dump trucks were huge hits in our family and we spent the most time enjoying those. The gentlemen who showed us the Annex was very knowledgeable and patient with us. He allowed us to sit in one of the cars and offered to take a picture for us.

This museum is great. It was well worth the ride. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable with guided tours. The cars are great, as well. They have a lot of history here for a $3 admission. I was expecting about four times that for admission, and would have gladly paid it. I would recommend this museum to anyone who has any interest in cars at all.

Great place to visit. The docent Justin was amazing at taking my wife and i through the entire museum and kept us laughing and enjoying the tour the whole time. My wife couldnt care less about cars but after we left she made the statement that it was well the time and money. As a car guy myself, Justin was great about getting you into the history of the model T as it evolved. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will most likely visit again next time we are in town. Theres a reason its the #1 attraction to see while you in Richmond. Now I just need to find one to restore for myself.

The cars are cool and the tour guide was knowledgable. However, he began his tour by telling us that he cannot stand kids, in front of my kids. My kids range in age from 4-9, so they heard and fully understood the disrespectful remark he made. He also referred to himself as pretty hot stuff the entire time. It was an awkward and frankly, unpleasant experience. Perhaps with a better and more professional tour guide this place would have been more enjoyable.

Were not car buffs, but it was worth going due to the docent ( Justin?) Who was very entertaining and informative! Beautiful and interesting cars on display. Not huge, but plenty for an hour or two visit.
