We only had one contact at check in but other than that no human contact. The space was really clean and everything was nice. Deer came right up to our window and we went on a walk because it was so nice outside. Very quiet.
TV didnt work, toilet wasnt completely bolted to the ground, no exhaust fan in bathroom. Place needs some upgrades where we were. But its a nice 1700 acres and the rooms were clean. Overall a good getaway.
We LOVE our timeshare here. Nice place to get some slow down me time, different from the coast or Portland. Golf, Sage and Juniper. Great stuff.
Beautiful place. Loved the golf courses. People are friendly love the grounds. Stayed at the resort in a deluxe king. Loved it.
Beautiful resort. Wonderful, friendly staff. Comfortable and quiet rooms.
We checked into a three bedroom unit on Friday to spend Thanksgiving week with our immediate family. As soon as we walked into the back porch we could smell the strong odor of propane. We called maintenance, who responded, checked the BBQ, and said it was probably just the main tank venting propane. The maintenance guy also said the fireplace had been broken for over a week and it appears that no one ever fixed it.We called the front desk who claimed they could not move us to another unit and we would have to call owner services. But they continued on saying owner services was gone for the weekend, I could call them in Monday, but they probably wouldnt move me because of a broken fireplace. This place used to be great, and we have had many happy memories over the years, but if this is how they treat their customers I definitely would NOT RECOMMEND this place.
We went last month for 3 nights for a special anniversary trip. We were very excited to stay in a hotel finally after waiting through all the COVID lock downs. When we arrived, we were treated with special anniversary treats at the front desk. We went to our room and settled in. Unfortunately, there were some cleanliness issues that needed to be addressed. Management was very helpful and made efforts to make sure our experience was comfortable for the rest of the stay. We understood that the hotel is still trying to recover from the shut down and training new staff can be challenging. They have COVID procedures in place, including following the law of requiring masks indoors and distancing at the pools (as much as possible). They limited guests at pools and required reservations for non-hotel pools. There are 4 total pools all pretty far apart. If youre staying at the hotel, only three are available to you. I recommend taking the shuttle to the 2 away from the hotel. Ultimately, after checking out the pools, we went to the hotel pool most often. There is plenty to do on site besides hanging out at the pool. We also spent time on the minigolf course and rented some bicycles from the sports complex. We had our two little kids with us and they loved it.The location is not too far from town so you can easily go in to get anything you might have forgotten. There are a couple of places to get food on the property including a restaurant with a nice outdoor seating area.Overall, we had a great time and recommend this property to anyone looking to get out of town. Thanks to the staff for helping make this a great stay.
Eagle Crest is a beautiful golf course with fun for someone of every age in the family. We even enjoy the mini put-put golf course that allows you to have fun and practice your skills! If youre around during the holidays, the resort entertains guests with a beautiful light show as you drive around the surrounding areas.
First timer.. Exceptional value for a golf resort. Golfing was a great experience for myself and my partner, Stephen, his 3rd visit.Wonderful staff, very helpful. Some are professional, some are not. Very limited smile from some of the front desk staff. Left a note with intention of giving feedback.
Enjoyed the bicycle paths and the ability to get to other locations fairly easily. The place needs some basic TLC, not sure why cleaning and keeping things nice is no longer a requirement. The bugs on the ceiling and the dirty laundry sitting in a plastic bag next to the door made us seriously question what was clean and what was not. For the price, I would definitely shop one of the other resorts. Not sure what the deal with parking is, but one neighbor was very territorial about “their” space even though the spots aren’t assigned or numbered.
We stayed in a World Mart unit located on the Eagle Crest Resort in Oct., 2020. Eagle Crest is a beautiful resort area with numerous golf courses, walking trails and pools and sports facilities. The setting is very serene and relaxing. Our condo unit was very nice with everything we need for our 4 night stay. In previous years we have stayed in the Esgle Crest Lodge units which were excellent facilities also. We recomend Eagle Crest highly.
We normally love going to Eagle Crest. This time the room was subpar. The sliding glass door would not close correctly. I had to lift it back into the track. It still wouldnt close right. Then the toilet wouldnt flush. I had to mess with the float but still wouldnt flush. Then as it got cooler in the evening we realized that the thermostat said Err on it. We couldnt get it to do anything. After I talked to the front desk about it on the way out I was told that eagle crest would not compensate me for the night because I booked thru Hotels.comThis is disappointing from a resort like this.I wish they would just do the right thing first.
Its a very nice place. We had glitch checking in, but after that its very nice. Others looked like they were having a great time too.
Very clean, nice place. Love seeing the deer on the golf course. Lots to do hiking, biking & walking trails. Pools are clean & fun to swim at. And of course golfing.
The resort is pristine. Friendliest staff we have encountered so far on our family road trip. So far this is only the 4th state of our 12 state planned trip but so far I have to say Oregon and Eagle crest is my fav. They have 3 restaurants, so far 1 bar open, an art gallery, numerous fitness centers, horseback riding near by, a fabulous golf course, pools, hiking trails, river, and the wildlife that you can observe will leave you speechless.
Every encounter I had with staff was pleasant. The kitchens are lacking. There is a microwave and mini fridge only so plan accordingly. The beds are comfortable. The rooms could use a little revamping, but it was a very enjoyable stay!
This beautiful property stretches a good distance offering a multitude of cabin styles and view points. I remember staying here when I was a kid and I can still recognize things 30+ years later. They have definitely added and upgraded, but the old original ambiance is still there. The snow was absolutely beautiful stretching across the golf course creating a winter wonderland drive around.
My family has been coming to Eagle Crest for years! A wonderful getaway in Central Oregon, perfectly set up to relax in style and comfort, and near many adventures for those looking to explore.
Really like the Eagle Ridge golf course ! The hiking trails by the Deschutes River are very enjoyable.
We heard a lot about this place and finally decided to take a fathers day trip. Upon check in, the lobby was nice and clean. There was a couple in front of us checking in and they inquired about the posted sign requiring pool reservations and asked how they went about making the reservation. The front desk attendant chuckled and said she had no idea how to do that. The couple seemed confused about why the employee couldnt tell them how to reserve pool time.We found the room to be a Picasso. Good from afar, but from from good. It appeared neat but there was a layer of dust over most surfaces and they baseboards were peeling to name a few things. The fan in the bathroom was falling out and not working. I called the front desk and all they could tell me was it was automatic and comes on when the lights are turned on despite me telling them about it. They front desk seemed not to care and wanted to be done with the call.We couldnt figure out how the AC system worked as there was a unit in the bedroom which was working well and blasting ice cold air but nothing in the living room area. The controls on the unit in the room didnt work and the main panel in the living room wouldnt allow us to set the temp to what we wanted. I called the front desk again and was told to check the panel and flip it down to make sure it was connected. This was not possible as it was a new unit and self-contained. They had no help for us to figure out the AC. It would have been nice if they offered to send someone down to help figure out what was going on.
Beautiful scenery. Watched the golfers.Deer very friendly. So cute.
What a disappointment for my kids. You will shell out a lot of money for you kids to not even be able to enjoy a pool or any of the amenities advertised on the website. Pools are booked days in advance. We showed up for 4 days 3 nights and got no access. Spas are also closed. They do a great job of making you feel unwelcome if you are not an owner here. This is our last trip ever to this place.
I just arrived at the resort and when we checked in our room, I found out the bathroom is not cleaned. You see hair on the toilet and yellow cleaning towel left on the sink. I am surprised to find out in this covid time they dont even have a second person doing the basic checking to make sure the room is clean before checking in a guest. To add to my disappointment, the front desk person doesnt want to hear me out about my complaints. She just brushed me off and said they will change our room. Very dissatisfied with their services.
Rooms were clean. Staff members were quite snooty. I caught one making fun of a guest. I wont stay there again.
It’s beautiful here! Seeing the deer every day and all the stars at night. It’s very peaceful. The grounds are kept up very well and there’s a lot to do besides golfing!
Went here for work party and stayed in one of the condos. Everything was great. Very nice.
We go often because we enjoy it very much. Though was disappointed they locked up bikes in the name of Covid.
EC is always good. This is our 4th week here this summer. They have a very helpful organization and townhouses are always clean.
Great golf course. 3 hour round walking
Super disappointing. We made sure to call repeatedly up until our reservation date to make sure the pool and splash pad were open due to COVID. Each time they confirmed the pools were open. We arrived and found out that we had to reserve the splash pad a day in advance. No one communicated that each time we called. The staff at the front desk basically tried to blame the sports center and when I explained it was their job to communicate that we needed to reserve the pool she basically said sorry for you. Thankfully we drove up to the sports center and they put us on the reservation list. We also were told that our room would potentially be ready early but not for certain. We did arrive early and the room was not ready which was totally OK. After walking the area for an hour with four kids and coming back at 4 o’clock check in time, the room was still not ready. We’re not even in the room yet and this has been a nightmare to drive five hours with four kids and have this hassle. Definitely don’t recommend and will not be coming back.
Beautiful view of the golf course!! Wheelchair accessible and what a nice clean room!! Nothing to complain about! Very nice experience very relaxing. Hardly left the resort.
This not so hidden gem of Eastern Oregon is amazing. Resort offers great views, relaxed stays, and a gateway to all eastern Oregon activities. Near by is Bend, Redmond, Smith Rock state park, Mt. Batchelor, etc. At the resort theres golf, putting, tennis, biking, swimming, and various other activities. Tons of birds, wildlife, and even resident deers. Fun is any season, busier in the summer.
Very peaceful and clean.Lots of deer
This is our favorite. Nice place
Very reasonable and not far from Bend & Sisters. Not super kid-friendly in the restaurants, but the pool is nice and the place is clean
We have stayed here for years and love it.
Great lodging option in Redmond, OR. Spacious and clean rooms. Here are a few comments that I have: consider switching to refillable shampoo and body washes as well as replacing plastic cups with glass for a more eco-friendly and sustainable experience. Exterior windows were also very muddy for some reason.
Great destination resort. There are multiple golf courses, unlimited bike and hiking paths with abundant wildlife. The trail down in the canyon along the Deschutes river is is very rewarding. There are several options for staying, from hotel rooms to luxury house rentals. Several of the condo rentals are along the canyon edge where you can watch eagle or hawks flying by. With Bend less than 30 minutes away and Mt Bachelor another 20 minutes away, there is plenty of options for fun. My favorite is Smith Rock!
Not what we expected. The living area had worn couches, kitchen is small and some ants were on the floor. Bathroom shower was decent. The toilet wasn’t clean when we arrived. Lifted up the toilet seat and there were brown stains. Thermostat doesn’t work and AC unit was on energy saving mode so it was hotter most of the day. There’s a strange ventilation from the AC to the living room that makes no sense. Bedroom mattress was lumpy and worn. If you have back pain you won’t sleep at all. Not many amenities available, gym had a cut off time for rsvp’ing and wasn’t available after check in for a weekend stay. Couldn’t use the pool or hot tub area either. The soap products offered were cheap and the soap bar would dry out and break in two after a day of use. Walls are super thin and you can hear neighbors above and nextdoor. Sand trap by the side entry doors totally is a hazard as the wind blew dust in my eyes. Not a pleasant stay and some areas were unclean. The other negative reports are true. Not many decent restaurants nearby, better to drive into Redmond or Bend for food and coffee. Eagle Creek Resort is more of a 2 star hotel than a resort.
Great spot, plenty of trails, pools and falls nearby. They had rentals of all kinds and the townhomes were well equipped with anything and everything youd need. Well be back.
I just love the units that are on the resort they are just wonderful little places.
Woken up at 6:44 am by maintenance mowing small patch of lawn right outside room window. Woke everyone including kids. When I called the front desk they said he was mowing the golf course when they know full well my room in no where near the course. Sorry they said, he has to start early. Ugh :( lame
Very clean, good customer service...wish we could have stayed longer!
I love it here. Landscaping is well done, homes are mostly custom, no street lights. Deer, Quail and rabbits run around. Staff at hotel are very nice.
My son and I stayed here while visiting friends in Redmand. What a special surprise our stay was. There was so much to do and the resort was so beautiful. I cant wait to come back!
My husband and I came for a relaxing weekend. It was so much fun and relaxing and much more than we expected!Clean rooms, the entire property has so much to do utilize it! For sure a place to book two nights at. Several pools and hot tubs you can use. The spa is amazing, if you want the best deep tissue massage of your life go to Michelle. The game arcade room was fun!Lots of events and games you can join into, you get an updated flyer upon arrival. For the cost I feel like this is a GREAT place for couples or the entire family!!! Super kid friendly but also super adult friendly. Go on a weekday, not a lot of people but lots to do. We will be staying again. OH and there is mini golf for the people who aren’t that great yet! Super fun!! Clean! Yes it could be updated for 2019 times but it doesn’t look old or gross, super clean and STILL really nice.
Eastern Oregon is an absolute wonderful place to go and adventure and Eaglecrest resort is a wonderful way to enjoy it right in the middle of all sorts of adventures
Gorgeous golf courses and many deer cruising around the grounds...
Great resort. Very large with several amenities. Great staff. Beautiful views.
Room was very dirty, spots on bathroom floor that came right up when I took a wet wash rag to it. Red solo cups behind the TV. Yellow marker on floor by window. Talked to front desk, they didnt seem to care, asked to speak to manager and they never came to talk to us like we were told they would. We stayed at the lodge and will NEVER go back. It was gross!!!
Very beautiful setting and pristine grounds.
Beautiful, quiet and deer! Great location (overlooking the Deschutes River) and condo was well appointed.
A small group of friends play the putting course regularly. The course is very challenging and not what you would expect from a usual putting green. Fun for a family get together or birthday party whether you are staying at Eagle Crest Resort or a local.
Nice lodge in a great location, just outside of Redmond in the natural beauty of central oregon. I just wish there was a little more for the kids to do, such as slides at pools.
This is one of the best fun centers we have been to. so much to do. They have one of the 6est arcades that I have seen. My son enjoyed his food. They have responsible prices. They are so accommodating and its a great location.
Surprisingly wonderful. We recently relocated from a 40+ year stint in Central Oregon but this was our first stay at Eagle Crest. We were treated with courtesy and our room was far better than expected. We brought our dog and were happy to find she was welcome as well. The room was clean, spacious, and not a dog only type room we have experienced at other hotels. This was worth the little extra expense, sometimes you do get what you pay for.
A breath of fresh air in the Oregon high desert.
Favorite place to go since I was a kid. Always beautiful sights from anywhere on the property. Nature around it is gorgeous and always something fun to do.
Great golfing.Live music.
Ive been vacationing at Eagle Crest since the early 90s. Although I loved the old look of the condos they still are clean and classy
Great place in Central Oregon. You can stay busy constantly or just relax. A 5 star vacation resort.
Awesome time share resort. tennis, pickleball, pool, racquetball, hot tub game room.
Spent 6 days in the pool. What a nice tan I got.
Well maintained grounds - really beautiful, peaceful setting with the winter snow.
Nice clean resort. Very comfortable beds.
This is a great place to get away and enjoy the sunshine surrounded by desert scape and wildlife. We have never felt like it was busy or crowded here, regardless of the time of year. Even the golf is low key and relaxing. Allow yourself time to walk the trails (or ride them on horseback).
Okay, this place was probably a 4 star...back in 1973. Extremely dated. The staff was fine, and the rooms are very large. But it seriously felt like I was staying in the family room of a 1970s ranch house. Overall it was clean and presentable, but if you are looking for a resort, this is not the place. If you are there for golf, you can probably stay for much cheaper in town. I believe they do the best they can for what they have, but this place is in serious need of a complete renovation.
Aerie Cafe - great service and delicious food. Special thanks to Tilly, Jessica, Deanna and the entire staff for the awesome service.
Fantastic resort! Being from the city the first thing I noticed was just how serene this place is during the day and at night, its the perfect place to relax. The trails were great to walk on early in the morning, and all 3 of their sports centers were open during the day for swimming, basketball, tennis, racquetball, etc. Cant wait to come again next summer!
I have stayed here a lot for many years and its the best, cleanest, and most affordable place Ive ever stayed. Everyone is so friendly and theres a ton of fun things to do
Just one great resort! We met out of town relatives and had a great time.
Lovely rooms available at the lodge for smaller parties. Kitchenette, seperate living room, seperate sink and mirror from full shower bathroom. Very nice staffGreat food. The bar was packed with happy people watching sports and enjoying a male, drink, and good company. Great wedding venue.
We had an amazing stay at Eagle Crest (WorldMark.) Our 3 bedroom condo was right on the golf course with beautiful views. The unit was clean and spacious. The well stocked kitchen made it easy for cooking meals and even baking!
Great time. Hotel rooms were clean and nice. The water tasted fresh and everything smelled great. The new splash pad was amazing and the pools and hot tub was also great.
Love this place. Lots to do if you want or quiet if that is what you want
Relaxing...Quiet....Great golf
Beautiful scenery and great staff made Eagle crest a definite return trip for our family.
Terrific family resort. Awesome staff. Grounds are beautiful. Golf course on site. Many trails to walk or run. Definitely a great place to stay.
The service was terriffic! The Poffenbarger 50th Anniversary Party was amazing! Great food! Great service.Kind and helpful staff. Was a terrific time had by all! Thank you
Great location, needs a refurb. or upgrade..
So much to do. The room was really nice. Horseback riding for novices, golf course, several pool options, etc.
Not bad friendly service, rooms were roomy clean.....
ADA room 113 is great: golf course view, close to side entrance. Great food and housekeeping; I had requested a Mr. Coffee pot as we dont like the Kuerig, it was waiting for us in the room.
Great place to vacation and relax !
Eagle Crest Resort is a five-star Resort! It offers everything, from hiking to fishing along the river, swimming in their amazing pools, weight rooms, walking paths, bike paths, they also have cool little almost like go-kart type of things that you can write in with your family that you pedal like a bicycle this Resort is an all-around amazing place to be right in the heart of Central Oregon! Im so thankful that I live here Ive worked for Eagle Crest! And I love this place its absolutely breathtaking an amazing!
A beautiful resort with lots of activities and fun adventures near by.
Room was very nice! Loved the pool and hot tub. Nice walking trails (they just need to be marked a little better). Beautiful place, will return!
Great location, hotel room is good sized with a living area separate bedroom and 1.5 baths. Using an accessable room and staff was very accommodating and helpful.
Eagle Crest Resort is fabulous! It is our favorite place on Earth.Wide open spaces, golf, tennis, pools, walking trails, biking, fishing, a very Peaceful place. Condos are Great for family and friends to visit.
Would like to rent one of the condos for a winter get away.
Staff was very courteous. Needed a needle and thread, presto they had one. Pool and hot tub were great. Room was huge and very clean. Would definitely stay there again
Not impressed. Seems like if I was 60, really into golf, and it was warm that I would enjoy this place...but it was just eehhh
Beautiful place so much fun
Well maintained, professional and courteous staff. Ive never had a bad experience.
