You need to try if youve not. Hard crash crash when youre going too fast but the adrenaline rush is so awesome. Great stuff too who are not rude and understand not everyone will be a pro so they accommodate whatever level of entry youll be in.
Great place for indoor go karting. I’d recommend booking in advance to avoid the wait. They give you a cotton full face mask/cover that you wear under the helmet. I think it’s a neat way to maintain hygiene. The track is small but the turns are great, and that’s what matters. In case it’s your first time, don’t worry. They brief you first about the vehicle and also about the rules. They have trays to keep your belongings inside, near the track.I would have preferred if they had more number of laps in one package, but nonetheless, the experience was great.
The place is clean and has nice carts.Unfortunately, they are not honest about the races. Before racing, they claim to start you slow, then allow normal speed if there is no bumping. There were no crashes or bumping whatsoever and they only allowed us one full lap at normal speed.
Awesome experience!! Great place to have fun when the Weather is not Cooperative. Young guy Gursimar Singh was pretty helpful and respectful!!Will always recommend this place.
Very fun place to go, the races are planned well with little waiting time, plus lots of food and waiting entertainment options, best part was a cute little winners ceremony u can do with medals, stage, the whole shbang.
Very fast electric carts, along with nice employees. Awesome place to have fun
Primarily it is just a younger kids place for go Karts but I have also seen teenagers and even elders enjoy the racing. You are enrolled in a membership and issued a card for discounts on your subsequent visits. You will also receive subscription emails for their promos and events. The staff is cool and knowledgeable. Kids get to ride few rounds of racing with each payment. Speeds of the cars is fixed so it is more of cutting the corners technique which lets kids manoeuvre their race (I will hardly call it a race). Track is small and well protected with the help of tires on each side. Everyone racing the go karts is supposed to wear a helmet provided by them. Good for young kids and teens.
The go karting place is really good you can go kart and you can play arcade games while you wait for your turn. It is really fun
I have been to this place several times because my son enjoys the cart racing.Place is not very efficient, believe the reviews on wait times especially if your doing junior races.Details: everyone must check themself into their computers upon arriving. Only have 2 screens so there is a bottle neck, 20 minute check in minimum. For junior races they say after one race the carts need to be charged so kids races go once and then they run 1-2 adult races before juniors go again. To do multiple races you can be waiting 1 hr to 1.5 hrs between races. The facility has 6 tv screens. 2 show tv show, same show on both screens. 2 screens with current race, ther 2 screens are off. When you wait for the next race you have no visual on screens of drivers for next races. Thus you dont know if your racing next. They say they anounce your name on intercom just before race, very confusing on when you race next. You get a $5 coupon after you race. Went to buy 2 races and use coupon. Was told I can only use coupon if I buy 1 race. Coupon does not say that, beware! When you speak to manager they say they suggest improvements to owners but nothing changes.
Great fun! My heart was beating
Terrible experience. The track is small and they slow down your speeds whenever they feel like it (electric karts). Everyone there seems to have an attitude. Terrible customer service.
The employees were chill, the place was fun and the racing was good. I love this place and have always loved it ever since I was 7 or so (Im 15 now) when my brother would race around the go-kart track and I would dream of doing the same. I will definitely be coming back since I always want to go here and just have fun racing. :)
Went here as part of a work event, and had a blast. Ive never driven a go-kart before, so I cant compare to any other places, but it was a ton of fun. They go pretty fast, there are tight corners, straightaways, and its great competition. The staff were friendly and helpful. No complaints, Id be happy to go back.
I went with a group of friends to run in k1 kart, we didn’t like it, because we waited 1 hour and a half to race.
So much fun! I come here every time it rains when we need a fun activity. Kiddo loves coming here and we always have a good time!
Not a very fun track. Small with only corners
Lot of fun! Long wait but worth it if you love high speed racing. No gasoline smell is really nice.
Great place and amazing Go karting
It was okay... Took my nephews. They had to ride with kids because they didnt quite make adult height, and didnt really get a true experience. Some of the kids could barely steer and they had to slow down the riders many times. I was disappointed and they didnt have as much fun as they should have... People were nice enough. Track seems smaller than the one I went to in San Diego.
Took my kids here for the first time today. Highly suggest calling beforehand to gauge when to arrive. We had to wait 90 minutes for their first race. If you can, fill out all the paperwork online so you can just check in on their computer when you arrive. We didn’t and had to input five people into their system instead of just walking in. The kids had a blast and want to go back soon. There isn’t much in the way of a snack bar (it was closed when we were there) but there are plenty of places to eat close to the track. It’s kind of hidden away from the main street so we got lost trying to find it.
Had a great time with my son. The karts are faster than I expected. Plenty of instant power. Would have been better if the slow kid in front of me would have paid attention to the flag and signs and moved out of my way. He blocked me for 3 laps ️.
Have been here a few times with my son and have had a total blast. Great staff and the carts are clean and fast. Want to thank Grace that helped me last weekend with a problem. She and all at K1 have exceptional customer service and took care of the problem professionally. Thanks for a great experience!
Fun, really spendy. The lap is small but twisty so its a good time. Its 65.90 for two adults because they require a membership. Thats the biggest fault, its expensive as hell.
Nice crew and had some fun. A bigger track would have been cool, but you take what you can get
The driving is good, but you dont get to drive for a long time. Its too short in my opinion, and they dont really allow you to bring outside food other than desserts(I think). The ski masks they give you to wear make it a bit hard to breath in, and the helmets fog up sometimes. The track is also pretty short with a bunch of twists and turns. Otherwise, the driving was great!
Visited this please on my nephews 12 birthday. Apparently you can host birthday parties here. The space isnt really big however there are a few pool tables I believe and a video game area and go karts obviously. The weight is not extremely long. There is a tv board/monitor that sits on top of the windows so you can monitor who is winning in the go cart game. I dont think that we stayed long enough to really enjoy the entire facility, however it seems that this could be a great place to have a childs birthday party I would suggest 15 and under. For the cost of one round I believe was 15 to $20 which included a head protector or like face mask kind of deal. I believe one round is about 3 to 4 minutes Im pretty sure its no more than four minutes. Do your research and there are several other locations that have go-karts throughout the South King County area not sure if they offer the best price I would check around.
Good place to go with friends if you want to go for a little speed. Also have some pool tables and arcade games if you want to have a break in between your race session. Very enjoyable for a day out
Great place to unwind and let your need for speed flow. Membership is optional but highly recommended for the competitive spirit.
Far to expensive and needs one more minute added to the time also a longer track would be nice but I understand
My son and I love this place. Staff is friendly and professional. Racing is exciting but feels safe.
I liked K1 speed because of the fast pace racing. Though the track is not long and the karts are different from each other which can be surprising.
Three kart is great but I told them I had to leave 1:40 minutes later and asked them if it was ok for 3 races. They said yes. We did the first race 1:20 later! Then, because I complained, I did race 2 and 3 soon later but I was 30 minutes late anyway.
They are very rude they talk to u as if they are superior
Fun activity for a group. We had a company group morale event. It was very nice, 3 rounds of ~16 laps each. Very competitive and engaging. The lap length is pretty short (less than 25 seconds to finish) but challenging, with lots of turns and one straight line. Recommended!
Check in took forever with incredibly slow computer systems and lap times worked on and off. When asked how long they had been having issues, the answer was over a month. Its obvious regulars get royal treatment racing every race and bypassing the rules. The carts are fun but a owner who cared about the small things and treated everyone equally would be nice.
Tried to make reservations and was told not needed for 6 people. Called again just to be sure a few days later they said that we should have gotten reservations, but that they were booked, but come in anyway because they had cancelations. So we headed there called on the way, was told again that reservations werent needed. Got there, they were booked for the next 3 hours (assuming no one went over). $50 to walk in the door with no guarentee that we would ride at all. If we did get throughto ride then an additional$80/hr per person. Seriously, get yourselves together. The hour drive one way was a total waste.
The kids loved the go karting! I thought there were too many turns. A bit of a wait to drive.
Good karts and not much waiting depending on time of day. Staff can get really busy during peak time but overall really good.
Awesome place to spend a day, especially for kids. The cars are a little cramped for plus sized persons but theyre pretty fun.
A friend and I went here with some gift cards I bought online to save a few bucks. The check-in process was easy enough. But the track management was awful. Way too much time in between races. It wasnt very busy when we got there, but it took at least 40 minutes to get on the track. After our first run it was a different groups turn. Then it was supposed to be our turn... but they skipped us. So I went to the counter and asked to be put in the next race. They said that they would. And then they skipped us again. Two hours we spent here with ten minutes of track time. We were on a schedule so we couldnt wait any longer. Buying giftcards was a big mistake because now I have to go back or my money is wasted. Also, the track is really short. I dont think I would have gone back even if things had gone to plan.
If your time is valuable, think twice. I called to ask how long the wait would be for a one person race. The employee who answered the phone said, not longer than 15-20 minutes. We got there, and we ended up waiting for 1 hour and 45 minutes! I called ahead of time to prevent this from happening, and yet we ended up waiting for so long! That really turned me off, so I didnt go back for a very long time.Fast forward a year later, I called again to see how long the wait would be. The person told me that they have an open slot between 2:00 and 4:00, so I asked him whether we could reserve a slot at 2:00 to prevent a wait. The answer was that he is not sure. He said that the ONLY WAY to make sure that theres no wait is to physically go there at 10:00 AM when they open, look at the schedule of the day, and write our name down for the open slot, and then come back for the race. I asked him, why cant I call and put our name down for the open slot? His answer, Thats just the company policy.Yes, my kiddo had fun racing, but I am too busy to sacrifice hours of my time due to their ridiculous policy. They really need to sort out their scheduling policy.
Very friendly staff. Everything worked fine and they made sure since I was short I had special pedals. The place is also good for socializing. Primarily clean. Decent prices if you get a special. Track is a bit small.
It is a great place to host an event for a group of people. My team of 22 people had a overall great experience here. It was fun and exciting overall.Good part:The staff here are very experienced and helpful. They introduced the safety guideline to us very thoroughly and effectively. They divided us into 3 groups and let us have qualifier round and final round of the race. The staff was monitoring the race and would pause if something went wrong, so it was fairly safe.Bad part:In the final round, the steering wheel of the kart (#17) I got was extremely hard to turn left. As a result I could hardly turn left and I was left 2 laps behind the other people. Very frustrating.I didnt find a place to securely store my wallet and cellphone. Luckily we were a group of people and the people who were waiting could keep an eye on other folks stuff. The kart moves very quick even if you dont push the accelerator very hard. This makes everyones lap time very close and it doesnt really reflects each persons skill.
Very pleasant. We had a short wait of 30 minutes, but had a great time. Cars are fast. I spun out once and was impressed by how much effort I had to apply to succeed. Technical skills are helpful.
Staff couldnt be bothered to even greet us, much less make eye contact. Do not bother unless you are renting the facility. There is no way to know if the facility is booked online, you have to call ahead. We arrived and the facility was booked. We waited an hour, came back. Staff didnt greet us or acknowledge us at all. When we finally got helped, there was another 45 minute delay because the party ahead of us ran over their booking time. Waited 2 hours and finally decided it wasnt worth it. Based on our experience: if youre willing to deal with the staff, book the facility. Otherwise, accept you may be waiting upwards of 3 hours to kart.
Fun. Not too fancy, but a lot of fun to race karts. The track isnt big enough to really pass if everyone is about the same skill level, so the time trial positions are pretty much where you place at the end.
This place had fast electric carts on a fun track. The staff was friendly.
Amazing
Good and funSuper pricey though and I wish they had a bigger facility
Very well maintained indoor race track. Not a long one, but one can get printouts of their laps, best lap and average lap times with relative positions. Was a time well spent. Especially since it is chain, one can get history and cumulative positions from previous visits.
We called to get some info but we were on hold for a long time so we decided to go anyway. We drove all the way there and realized they force to buy a membership even if you just want to do a simple drop-in race, which is ridiculous IMO. Talking to the girl at the front desk was like talking to a machine. She had no explanation for why we had to buy an annual membership for a drop-in race and repeated the same sentence over and over. We decided not to play. The track seemed very short and simple anyway. Wont go and dont recommend.
Super fun indoor electric kart racing! You can really get those carts ripping! Ive been to this location twice now. Once in a workgroup, and once with a friend of mine. Both times we had excellent service with clear and concise instructions. Everyone we met with on the staff were friendly and accommodating and smiled. On this second occasion my friend and I were walk ins and happened to be arriving while one large group was finishing and another large group was preparing to race. They gave us the option of using both of our races back-to-back, or having to wait 30 minutes or more while they cycle through the large party. They fit us in quickly, and gave us options. Great experience both times.
Worst customer service I’ve ever had, Brandon and Anallisa were very rude and even though Brandon was the manager he handled the situation very poorly and unprofessionally. If you have time please go to the one in Seattle, where you’ll receive good customer service and people who know what they’re doing. Unless you want to get your card charged for no reason and receive an attitude from the workers there.
Fun place with the guys or taking my kids. Only complaint is the seats are a bit narrow for adult men. Other friends have said the same (for that I almost considered giving them 4 stars). But staff is friendly and my kids love it too. If you are out with adults they also sell beer and wine, which is a big plus in my opinion.
The track at K1 Speed - Indoor Go Karts is a little small, staff is nice, and prices are a little high.
Charged my card even though it was an glitch and error on their side, didn’t offer me anything in return and instead told me to give them more money. Please go to the Seattle location unless you want to receive horrible customer service especially Brandon the manager which handled it very unprofessionally and the cashier Anallisa
Electric karts, pretty fast, a great place for kids birthdays or just daddy/daughter racing.
This place was amazing, it really was, great service, and overall happy! It really made my family happy but i know that this trip to K1 today we will never forget!
This is a great venue for a corporate event. Our group had a great time racing.
K1 Speed is a neat place to go for parties. They have ELECTRIC go-karts! Really great for the environment compared to petrol powered go-karts. They have an indoor track that is enclosed separated by big windows from the rest of the building. They have a food bar which is a little small. They have head socks and helmets to use when racing.
Went there as adult cheer squad for grandsons birthday party. Staff knows their stuff and runs a tight ship. Kids had and awesome time. Cafe area needs better delineation in floor surfaces. I did not see the step down and pitched forward, ending up with sprained knee.
Fun stuff...just wish the announcements where cleaner, as it sounded like someone was swallowing the mic.
Fun and safe. Supervisors are nice and helpful and constantly watching over the race.
The first race was pretty good. I only did two races while my kids played video games. The first race, my cart was amazing. It was really fast and I got first place wirh my cousins in a friendly competition. It would be a five start review but my second race was terrible. My carts traction, speed and handling was terrible. I lost that race but otherwise from that, K1 speed is not a bad place.
Great sense of speed on the electric go karts, track layout is tight. Awesome venue
This was a blast! There were 4 of us and we all got going pretty good. The cars are easy to figure out too. They give you a print out of you times which was fun. They also have a snack bar and a pool table. Hint: get there early, they get busy. I highly recommend this!
Really nice track crew, well maintained cars, and a good time in general. Good track layout. I like the stats printout. Get 5 races - theyre a lot cheaper that way!
Fun place, the computers were down tho so we couldn’t get any of our race times
Wicked cool and hella fun! Its always a blast when you finish 1st on both races! The karts are very fast....0 to ludicrous speed in a blink! Def found a fun activity to do on occassion! Family friendly as well. They do sell alcohol which I thought was interesting seeing how it could turn into bumper karts if not careful. Not sure about the drinking policy!
The racing was fun fierce and intense go for a min imum of 3 rounds. 1 st round will help you get accustomed. 2nd round will be for fun and 3rd round will be competition.
This place is fun but its a very small track. Also, it is understandable that no bumping is allowed (Which made me drive cautiously) as this is a small track but the real fun is in open tracks where everything is allowed!
Not my favorite form of entertainment but I can see this being incredibly fun for groups of all ages! They were very friendly even with the snow storm happening outside. The place was empty but the staff was still awesome
If you like being stuck in traffic, go to K1 and spend $50 bucks. This place is a JOKE.
I had an amazing time going here. The only reason I didn’t give them the full 5-star is because the wait to get on the track is too long, I’ve waited for 20 minutes just to get one race in before. The go-carts are very fast and the track is good -could be better-. I do recommend if you are visiting Bellevue to come to K1 Speed to have a good time.
Nice place.
Fun track. Helpful staff and very friendly. The race was fun but its a rolling start, so it makes it more of an individual race. Food is simple, popcorn, hot dogs, pizza. Cheap pricing on food.
Highly Recommend
Great place to take kids go carting for a birthday party! They have adult races and kid races. Speed is slowed for the kids.
Great Fun!!! Staff were all friendly, attentive and helpfull.
If you havent been yet TRY IT youll like it!
It was really fun! There is a learning curve though the first time you drive that fast. But by the second or third time you do it gets a lot more easy.
This was really fun place. I had visitors in my house with kids and I took them to this place. Kids really enjoyed there with two races and asked me next day to take them again. I feel, it is little expensive if you are going with no prior membership or coupons.
The track is a little short but it is a great time for people that have never been. The carts are quick and usually not a long wait even on a Saturday afternoon. The only reason for the 4 stars is because of the track length however that is nothing that the staff can fix. All around a great way to spend the afternoon.
Ive been to a few others, but K1 is at the top!!!Fasssst carts, great track, and service.
All the staff knew what they were doing and how everything worked. All very polite and helpful with helmets safety instructions. Went on a Sunday evening and was not super busy and the between races wait time was just fine. It is a small track compared to other places but still very fun and perfect for a beginner. Prices are a tad high, but what do you expect from a super fun place? I will be coming back frequently.
Service is slow and employees dont seem to care too much about it. Go karts were fun.
This was a flaming good time. the staff rocks it and the speed is amazing. short track but big fun!!!!
Went there for a team event and a couple of us lapped the slowest folks but their timing equipment declared the slowest folks for podium top 3 spots.
Electric cars with good torque. Good metrics and reports after every race. Expensive.
