Nice place. I really enjoy the greenery. Disc golf course is top notch if youre using the setups on udisc. Its kinda confusing if youre not. Kids playground is nice and clean. There are a few homeless individuals who sleep here, usually near the bathrooms. We love feeding the ducks.
Ford Park is huge and super green. Trees are so big and old. I liked two lakes with ducks. Squirrels are running around everywhere. Nature is amazing here. There’re two parking spots and restrooms on a site. Also there’s separate spot for dog walking. My friends and I were celebrating birthday of our friend. We had a great time. Quiet and calm place.
Great park for adults and children. Many activities and the duck pond is really nice. A lot of room to walk without coming in contact with other people although most were wearing masks due to covid protocol. Really enjoyed this park.
Beautiful setting. Clean and family friendly has a playground duckpond fishing pond and dog park also tennis courts
A great breath of fresh air when time are rough. Lots of benches to sit and enjoy the cool air
Nice park. Was better before the dog park to play games for older kids with frisby golf goals and a large field for kites and make shift sport games. Always been great place to feed the ducks. I remember fishing here once too. Great for Pokemon Go and other augmemted reality games!
Nice large park to walk around. My kids feed the ducks then played on the playground for awhile. Very relaxing and quite.
Clean pleasant park with huge trees and a lovely duck pond.
Nice big park and the two little lakes actually do have fish. I cought some catfish in the night but in the afternoon the bass their dont seem to bite on anything. You can actually see them swimming at the edges but they dont bite on any lures of mine.
Sept 2020 - This is a review of the Ford Park disc golf course. The disc golf course is not playable as a multi-hole course. There are No maps or tees and what’s available online is not accurate. Baskets are in the middle of picnic areas w tables and bbq grills so unless you have skills to hit the basket without worrying about people, it’s not ideal. There were two baskets in the middle of an open field so I just threw at those for 30mins and left.
My son just got married there its a clean and very beautiful park
Quaint Park. Small yet has a lot of options for outdoor activities.2 small ponds (kind of mucky)Tennis courtsFrisbee golfPlayground for kids2 parking lots
Nice park to go with your kids and pets!
This place is the best park in the area. It has everything, a lake, a small water park and nice scenery. You can fish, bike and even paddle boat on the lake during certain times of the year. We enjoy going here for the walks with our dogs. I personally like how the sherriff will patrol the area. It deters damage and illegal activity from happening here. Overall a nice place to spend half a day.
This is a lovely park with two nice little ponds with ducks. Theres a nice sized dog park there as well. There are fun disc golf holes but with no launch pads so you kind of have to make up where to start. I saw people hammockiing there too because there are nice sized trees and good places to picnic.
I personally think its pretty cool
They have a nice tennis ball area. The 2 ponds had a lot of trash around them, so that was disappointing to see. People just need to care more and pick up after themselves. The dog park area was nice but some of the dog owners there are kinda scary looking. The womens restroom was pretty clean considering its a park restroom.Update: visited 5/31/20... it looks pretty bad. The ponds are extremely dirty and one has this fence all around most of it and smells? Lots of dog poop not picked up. So disappointing.
Its a really enjoyable place to picnic. Lots of open space. So, distancing from others is easy.
Lovely, big park with a small duck pond and Frisbee golf!
Great place to take kids fishing has everything you need park, lakes, trees, Fields, dog park, fishes, Turtles, ducks, benches and restrooms
A lovely park, plenty of tennis courts, lots of grassy areas, even a pond. Decent parking, but it gets dark very quick as soon as the sun goes down (not many lights).
This park has a lot to offer. There is a nice playground with activities for smaller and bigger kids. There is a lake to fish and/or feed the ducks. There’s tennis and pickle ball courts. There are disc golfing goals. Plus lots of picnic table areas to enjoy your lunch or a party.
Sad to see all the trash everywhere. Otherwise a beautiful place to relax and see the ducks usually.
Nice to inches too far from the parking lot
Great afternoon here - been enjoying this park since I was a boy - nice family outing.
Nice family place. Bring family and pets. Nice place to run around. Fishing yeah!
Just a fun park, with tennis courts, batt mitten courts, handball courts. A fun playground for the kids(which is closed because of covid. 2 ponds full of ducks that are very friendly. Big open grassy areas & lots of shade. & a dog park. Defintely will be back.
This little tucked away park has a lot of activities packed into a small space. Theyve got multiple tennis courts which often have lessons going on, raqutball courts, dog park, a disc golf course, duck ponds, picnic areas, and a playground for the kids. The disc golf course is pretty fun, but I would say they made some poor choices on the proximity of the picnic areas to the route of the disc golfers. Ive seen a couple people get hit, and a ton of close calls, which inevitably leads to bad vibes between the golfers and other patrons. For those unfamiliar with disc golf, you should know that while it may look like were just throwing a relatively harmless frisbee around, that disc is much more dense, and getting hit with one will surely ruin your day, or even put you in the hospital. Also know that golfers can tend to have a low degree of empathy for the non-golfers who happen to be between them and the basket. Im not sure if this is a genetic condition, or if it has to do with the fact that disc golf is often paired with the consumption of canned beer, and/or the wacky weed. So, non-golfers, keep your eyes peeled, and consider yourself warned. FORE!
Nice place terrible disc golf experience!
Large clean dog park, facility well maintained
Ford park is in my opinion one of the prettiest parks in Redlands. Its always very peaceful and a nice place to come to relax. The playgrounds make it a great option for kids and the attached tennis courts are also a fun option for those who are into that. I really like the pond it has with all the many ducks that roam around it, and enjoy bringing my dogs here to play in the set aside dog park. Would certainly recommend to others!
Loved this place and all its different areas!! The playground, the pond, the green areas, etc it is all beautiful!! Perfect for a picnic during the day but also a great scenery for evening photos
Went for the fishing. Has two ponds a lot of shade. Plenty of bench seating.
Nicely shaded park with 2 ponds. Dog park adjacent.
I love the Energy and Fam.experience at the dog park & always good vibes with Nature and its surroundings
Its a quiet and large park despite being stuck between I-10 and a busy street. It has lots of open green space, some pretty impressive old trees, and a duck pond... There are relatively clean bathrooms and nice picnic tables. You can spread a blanket on the grass under a tree, too. The playground is a little small and can get crowded. Also I didnt see places for kids to ride bicycles or scooters. But there are tennis courts and some people even fish in the pond (dont know if they catch anything). I think I saw an area designated for dogs. My daughter likes to go there because of the relaxing atmosphere of the park and the ducks.
Cool place for Frisbee golf and some fishing.
Nice place to relax, watch out for flying frisbees though.
Ford park has tennis courts, disc golf, rolling hills, lakes, ducks, an outdoor playground, a dog park, and trees galore. It is extremely beautiful and the perfect place to spend an afternoon.
Peaceful and great place to meditation, family time.
Dangerous place to play discgolf. Too many kids
Wonderful fathers day, except lake was so dirty
It was very nice for my wife and kids first time there. The People who lived in the area was Very Kind! And Helpful. But the bad thing is that there was a lot of trash on the ground as well as in the pond where we Enjoyed Feeding The Beautiful ducks. I wish people would be mindful and put there trash in the trash can. Other than that My Wife And I plan on going there more often.
Love the terrain and this park has a bit everything for everyone. I walked my dog through the park and ended at the dog park where he could run and play.
Nice and relaxing!! Love the ducks!!
Theres so much to do at Ford Park. But what I truly enjoy the most and makes me laugh is sitting on a bench watching all the four legged friends run around chasing one another, making new friends and sniffing, yes sniffing a lot. That aspect makes me glad to be me. Chill my furry friends friends.
Great food. Interesting decor. Great service, very organized. Great prices. Down side. 2 hour wait. Crazy we stayed that long but worth it. Found out later you can reserve.
Wonderful for Family time
9 hole disc golf course, ducks and fishing what more could you want
Nasty water & ugly ducks, but maybe when da world gets bk 2 normal it would look better
Large park with two fishing ponds. Lots of moss in summer so you catch mostly moss monsters. Has a playground and dog parks. Lots of trees.
Nice place to fish overun with homeless the city really needs to crack the whip on this and make it more family friendly.
This is a clean, safe and fun park. I took my toddler granddaughter. She played on slides and swing, then off to the dog park and finally we fed the ducks. The bathrooms were clean as well as the entire park. What a lovely destination on a beautiful Redlands day!!
Very nice park, green and spacious
Pretty coo. Spacey
Ive because of the great fishing experience! And the locals are amazing
Huge park, has ducks in very back of park hidden. Beautiful park. Lots of hills, tennis courts, frisbee golf, playground, picnic tables, green grass.
My favorite park since I was a child. The ducks are always present and the addition of the dog park makes this place even better. There is something for everyone. Tennis courts, frisbee golf, fishing at the 2 ponds, picnicing, playground, rolling down the grass hills, wide open spaces, trees to climb, wildlife to watch and the large dog park helps entertain humans and their canine friends.
A cute park with a frisbee golf set up, ponds and nice picnic spot. Loved seeing all the ducks and green space
Its what a park should be...a couple of lakes add some ducks a play set and wide open grass lands work some trees and voila..
A beautiful and spacious park! Great place to bring your kids to have a picnic. They also have tennis courts that you can play on. If the courts are packed or youre by yourself they have walls that you can hit against even its not for tennis.
Always been one of my favorite parks to let the dogs roam
My dog loves it
Very nice park love that it has two small lakes. It is a pretty big park definitely a nice place to have a picnic, bbq, or just to hang out and enjoy the nice outdoors... Oh and also a nice playground for the kiddos.
My grandchildren and I love spending time with the ducks having a picnic. Also has tennis, handball.courts, clean restrooms, playground, dogs park,2 large duck ponds. Did see some fishing going on. Big park. Feel very safe and its clean and large hill going to duck ponds from parking lot is great exercise. Kids can roll down the grassy hill like we used to do as a kid! Or not? Great park for family time outdoor time.
Clean fun place to go.
It has a lot trees for shades. The grass is always cut.
I love this place I go there all the time. Beautiful scenery its just filled with love, theres always people and the wildlife are amazing to look at for all to see.
Clean restrooms lots of shade and hand washing stations throughout the park.
Absolutely love Ford Park! Very well maintained and plenty of activities for free! Frisbee golf course, newly resurfaced tennis and paddle ball courts, handball courts...
Love this park! We usually bring duck food to feed the ducks in the pond (bread is unhealthy for them) and then the kids play on the playground after
Great place to take your kids, clean and lots of green space.
Beautiful park, WORST DISC GOLF EVER!
Great park tennis handball frisbee golf 2 pounds with ducks and a playground .
Its used be better back in the day but it still a nice relaxing place
Nice breeze, although very hot and humid.
Really nice park with lots of room and ducks to feed!
Nice people park & nice dog park . two small ponds, ducks, seen a few fish 1 was huge. playground, grass & trees, frisbee golf, tennis courts. Tucked away kind of hard to find. Check it out you & the kids will like itThe dog will to.
Mixed feelings about this dog park. Its clear that the Redlands Park and Rec team negelct the up keep of both the small and large dog sides of the park, more so, the large dog side. That side has poor grading and drainage and is a mix of dust and mud with little grass. The tables and benches are alright but are rarely cleaned/maintained.Parking is alright but at the two East and West extremes of the park and if one is full it aint easy getting to the other. The area is nice and quite beautiful which is this parks strongest characteristic. When I take my Goldie here I use the chuck-it outside the park fences in the open grass area. Mostly because, I dont want to have to give my pup a bath every time we go with how dusty and muddy it can be in the large dog section. Its fairly busy most of the day, early mornings are your best bet for quiet dog time. Most people are nice, however, when it comes to controlling their dogs most exhibit little care or skill nor can people read when dogs are fighting or playing and it leads to a lot of unnecessary drama and breaking up dog playing because all they see is fighting.Oh, and watch out for dog poop, people are very discourteous and rarely pickup after their dog unless lots of people are around.
The park is nice. The dog park is nice. The bathrooms have no privacy at all. There are two ponds here. One is fairly clean and the other lower pond is extremely dirty. There arent many fish in the two ponds. I have lost about 5 lures to the plants that float right below the surface. I dont know how often the ponds are restocked but as of today it needs it.
Beautiful, peaceful spot today.
Love it there
I love this park, probably my favorite park in the area. There are tennis/volleyball courts, a playground for the little ones (ages 2-12), a dog park that separates bigger breeds from smaller breeds, and a duck pond. Its a big park, and very pretty too. We come here and picnic sometimes as well. Definitely worth the visit.
Great little park for feeding ducks. Tried catching fishes but no luck. I see it better for your dogs or kids.
