Lovely park. Several walking trails, some along reservoir and cascading falls over dams. Beautiful scenery. A great way to spend an afternoon to de-stress. Only disappointment was Stone-Walled Creek section at Seidel Rd. trailhead was closed off, so no access to the paved walkways along the Antietam Creek.

A great local spot for hiking and fishing. The pond has several decent spots for casting a line and bringing your own chair to relax, or one could use the provided benches. As for the trails, I ran the Gravity Trail and it was in good shape. It was decently marked until you reach the Egelman Basin which is essentially an open park. Overall, would recommend as an evening hike spot but not a destination park.

It’s a peaceful, peaceful, and great place to enjoy hiking and surrounded by water. The waterfall is also gorgeous, but walking on rock, can be a little tricky. A variety of creeks and streams can also be found here. Walking here can be quiet relaxation. The trails are nice and wide and only have mild uphill sections. There are many trail variations.

This is a great family hike area. The trails are nice and wide and only have mild uphill sections. Its Pennsylvania, so there are lots of trees and little creeks. There are many trail variations that provide miles of scenery. If youre looking for an easy hiking area for the young ones or yourself this is a great area. It is a mixed use trail so you will see bikes and horses.

This is a great park for hiking and fishing at the lake. This park could be amazing if they labled all the trails (not just the main few) and added a safe way to get down to the view below the dam.

Great park for a nice hike. I come here for the mountain biking though! Know as Mount Penn, its got some of the best single track in the area. Most trails are not for beginners. Lots of rocks and fun features. Not really easy to navigate but there is a map (contact BAMBA or see the BAMBA Parking Lot at the top of the mountain) and the trails are better marked all the time. Trailforks app is another resource.

This is a really good hiking park. The trials are very nice and there are a few to chose from. I really like how they have done some good parking changes here and made it a lot nicer to get to the lake and go around the lake. Great place close to the city to go and feel like your far away.

Was here last year for an orienteering class. Nice parking area and wide trails. Seating deck to chill and watch activity out over the (small) lake. Only criticism is the trails were not particularly well marked. Worked fine for orienteering with a compass, might be a little tougher for a casual hike.

If you live in the Mt. Penn area, then you probably passed by here many times in your travels. I go here to fish, hike, and take photographs. Its a beautiful place, and all I ask is that people visiting do their part and keep it clean. There are trashcans strategically placed throughout the park, so lets use them

I had no idea Antietam Lake Park existed a month ago! I found it while searching on Google for new places to walk my dog. I really like it here and am excited to explore more of the trails. The parking lot is nice and open and there is even a bathroom (though its been locked every time I go, I assume because it is winter). There is also a tool station for bicycles with an air pump and various tools for fixing bikes - I dont know exactly what because I dont know anything about bikes, but it seemed very well stocked. The lake is so nice to look at and there have been people ice fishing every time Ive gone. There are signs stating that the waters are stocked for fishing so I am excited to try that in the summer. There are lots of different spots to park at to go on different parts of the trail that I have yet to explore. The only downside is that the road to cross to get to the lake is windy and sometimes cars fly around the corners and its hard to see. Overall, its a really nice place to do some light hiking and bike, run, or fish.

I wish the waterfall wasnt blocked off to the public. The creek attached to it is so nice.... I took my son and a cop had us leave. Very nice about it I just wish it was allowed to be seen... Esp to enjoy for pictures (which I did take). Besides that the lake is great to walk around and yes you are allowed to do that. I never fished there but I imagine it gets packed.... Nice parking area though and not confusing.

It is wonderful that millions of dollars were put into restoration, but disheartening to see that maintenance of the park is non existent. The pictures are from a recent visit, and its sad that money isnt being spent to upkeep the changes made...that cost millions. Hopefully, they will take notice & make ongoing maintenance a priority before it turns into another restoration project!
