What a gem of a park! Place they have a playground for the little ones and big ones. If you need some time to kill this would be a great place to do it. But there is quite a bit of vandlisim (spray paint on the rock wall, bad things carved into the slides) which breaks my heart.

I love going here during the warm months with the kids. Theres a nice pavilion area to sit and have lunch. The bathroom is clean for an outdoor public bathroom. Theres a toddler area sectioned off from the rest of the playground and a dog walking trail. Its near restaurants and shopping centers. Located in a nice residential area away from heavy traffic.

Nice little park just out of town. Brought the kids here to launch their model rockets and play in the playground. Great for both.

Excellent park with separate areas for different age ranges. The dog park area should have a fenced area for a better off leash experience.

This park is always very clean and safe. There is a lot to do for both bigger and smaller kids. My one year old and two year old love it.

Its a pokestop! (For the top review this may explain why there are some adults and young adults here, also keep in mind its for the public). The park is fairly clean, and the play structures are fun for most ages. There is also a walking path and an overlook up the hill from the park. Edit: Im sorry to say there is also some distasteful graffiti here; be forewarned you may need to have a conversation about racism with your kids...

I will not be takeing my kids back there because of the racist comments on indians. My kids are native American and I do not want them seeing this ugly stuff I used to take my kids there but I will no longer be going there unless something is done maybe cameras should be installed to find the ones who did this. I feel sorry for the men and women who put their time and money out to help the community by bring happiness to the kids.

The park and paths surrounding it are actually pretty pleasant, theres adequate seating for small picnics and a decent play area for children, not to mention its got its fair share of pokestops. I have seen 2 physical fights here already, both between adults, it can be an uncomfortable family area with that around, not to mention the vandalism.

Nice place for children. But there are grown people in the park hanging out that have no children playing most times. Kind of wish it was policed more.

Great park/ dog area.They need to have the bathrooms open longer for the season.

City needs to decide whether this off-leash park is really off-leash, since they have two signs adjacent to each other, contradicting each other. Also unclear why an off-leash dog park wouldnt be fenced all the way around.

Fun for everyone. A little hard to find though....

This is our favorite park in Rapid City to take our three girls. They can play here for hours unlike that really expensive modern playground Memorial Park downtown where they get bored in less than an hour.
