Not a great museum. Looks more like a house than a museum. Not much parking, but at least its free. Finding the museum is difficult because theres no signage for the museum at all. You just have to go off the address.I couldnt find the museums hours online so I turned up at 10:15 on a Tuesday because I know a lot of museums open at 10:00, if not earlier. It was closed, but there wasnt even a sign up saying why they were closed or when they would open. I came back later that afternoon around 2:30 and they were open! There was no off-street parking available this time because a single large pickup was in the driveway, positioned so that it took up all of the parking space. Some patrons of this museum obviously dont know how to park.So, I park on the street (also free) and walk up to the entrance of the Casa De McCoy museum. But it all went wrong from there. Almost as soon as I opened the door, a man, one of the staff, I assume a docent due to his age, looking very startled and angry shouted excuse me, what are you doing here? I asked him for a map of the museum and listing of what exhibits there were to see and he just shouted at me to leave! Extremely rude docent!I asked why if they were closed wasnt there a sign saying so and why the door wasnt locked? The docent just looked confused and again shouted at me to leave.Id give this place zero stars if I could for the following reasons: no information online about the museum other than its name and address; no information about its hours or what exhibits are there to view; and worst of all the terribly rude, loud staff. The museum smelled like poorly made pannini sandwiches.Im reluctantly giving this museum one star because parking is free (albeit very limited).
