Great little scenic park with paved trail for a stroller. Benches with cover overlooking the small pond with a little soccer field. It was pretty clean. There is also a jungle gym, tennis and basketball court.Great for a short walk around the pind and some lunch.

I really enjoyed the people and the game. This was my first time playing Kickball in 40 years. I was very rusty, lol.

It is great the pond is amazing and the big swing that can fit 20 people

Powell Drive Park is clean and the equipment is nice. Theres a pond, trails around it, and a basketball court as well. I believe the second court is a tennis court. The ground below the playground is made of a soft, bouncy, rubber material, which is nice for the little ones. I like that the park isnt TOO big, as it makes it easier to keep an eye on the kids.

Nice park, modern playground. Warning: though there is a building that looks like it should have bathrooms, all the doors are pad locked.

This is a nice clean park with a play ground, tennis court, basketball court, a large field for playing soccer, and a beautiful walk path around a pond. The only reason I am giving a 4 star review is because there is not enough protective barrier between the playground area and the pond. A child could very easily walk outside of the fence, since it is not fully enclosed, and get to the pond rather quickly. When bringing small children you need to have a watchful eye at all times to ensure they dont run outside of the fence.

Its a very nice place. Clean and good for children. But it needs the fence to be completely colsed in around the play place. Small children have direct access to the pond. Potentially very dangerous.

This is a great neighborhood park with updated, unique play equipment for young toddlers all the way to pre-teen. Most of the playground was shaded on our summer morning visit around 8:30am. It would be nice if there were public restrooms however. I picked up a few items of trash on the ground, but otherwise the park area was very clean. We will be back to visit again soon, and next time plan to explore the pond and trail around it too.

Great little park for family fun.

A great community park with a large field and a kickball/baseball field. Lots of new playground equipment with safe rubberized playsurface. A nice short trail around the pond but only half of the trail is paved. The basket ball court is older but still in good shape and a great tennis court

I love getting close to nature, playing soccer, basketball and tennis and this park offers all that. Very nice place to go.

It is a relly fun place for kids to play during the summer and it some times help you release tress just by walking around the park

This is a well designed little park, but there is a constant trash issue unfortunately, and there are no public bathrooms. The tennis courts are also uneven and in need of a serious makeover.

Peaceful, quiet and clean away from the noises of the city of Raleigh NC

Went there quite a bit before the revamp of the playground. It was so close to our house. We moved 10-12 miles away from the park and still go.

Not good for a sunny day. It has zero shade and the equipment gets quite hot.
