More than a theatre company! Moonlight inspires creativity by empowering students to create original content. They have students writing and producing plays and short films, writing original songs, screen plays, stand up routines and more. They also teach acting, comedy, vocals, writing and improv. But the best part for us was the sense of community and encouragement they provide. They are an essential resource for the working performer and the place to be for someone starting out. There is truly nothing like it in the triangle!

Estes is the real deal. Not only is he a talented, experienced, accomplished actor himself, but he has that rare skill of seeing greatness in others and helping them to bring it out. His positive attitude, coupled with his no nonsense advice and guidance are fundamental when exploring professional acting in the Triangle as well as anywhere. He and his team are amazing with kids and others who are focused and hard-working. I wish I had met him sooner! Because of his help Im finally getting to a new Stage in my career.

Hidden gem with an awesome group of talented coaches. Send your kid here for acting, improv, singing, etc. They’ll learn a lot and have a great time.... or get tickets to one of the awesome Moonlight productions in their small theater.When you first get to the location, the buildings seem a little dated but you won’t be disappointed in the classes and shows!

I have been to this venue four times for comedy shows. It is a comfy, cozy, intimate theater that of perfect for smaller productions.

Estes Tarver is really developing a first class performance curriculum for both actors and singers at the Moonlight Stage Company. His real world acting experience and love of watching his students explore both improv and stage acting shines through.Carrie Marshall has also been an excellent addition to the Moonlight Stage Company, in bringing her musical and voice talents, with sincere enthusiasm for watching her students perform and reach their personal goals.

Did Improv here for two seasons! It was great!

I have taken improv workshops and improv classes here and the instruction is top notch. I have also attended and performed here. The venue is a little small, but the main stage has good lighting and the seating is tiered which allows for everyone to have a good view. There is also acting and singing instruction here. I would definitely recommend the improv training here and suggest coming out to some of the shows hosted here.
