Wonderful venue. Easy to get to and depart. Parking cheap or free (street). Many places to eat before show within walking distance. Snacks and soft/hard beverages and spirits sold inside. Loved my Experience!

I always hate to drive in to Raleigh from Hillsborough but my father-in-law gets really really good tickets to plays that is sometimes at DPAC or at the Duke Energy Center in Raleigh. We all met there. I really enjoyed the play it had a Latin culture to it and it was very very up-tempo and upbeat. There was no sleeping for me during the play. Thats my kind of play, In the Heights is the name of it. If you get a chance do check that one out.

The shows are always great, but they dont open up areas for more bathroom use, drink and snack prices are high, they let too many people in late after shows have started (because of long lines maybe), they kick you out as soon as the show is over. The stages are good sizes. There really arent any bad seats in any of them. Parking is very convenient. The building is kept clean and maintained and is well lit. Ive never felt unsafe. We have always enjoyed the gentleman street performer playing the sax in front of the fountain.

You have to angle yourself if you have the seats on the sides. There are no big screens with the show playing for you to have a better view, so pick your seats wisely.

Parking was right across the street. Paid $7. There was a golf cart that took you from the parking lot to the front door of the venue. The staff of the venue were extremely nice and helpful. The bathrooms were clean the carpets were clean. The temperature was slightly warm, however, there were hundreds of people in there. The seats more comfortable however not a lot of legroom.

Show was wonderful! However, our seats were not good. Our view was partially obscured by the stairway glass panel and railing. The view being partially obscured was not disclosed at time of purchase. We knew we were side-facing from the stage. We did not know the railing is raised with a large piece of plexiglass at the end of each side-aisle stairs. We definitely have stiff necks after struggling to see and will not purchase the side-facing seats again.

I love classical music! So I was very happy to listen to their orchestra. I was chaperoning another 4th grade field trip. My son seemed to enjoy it as well. Their restrooms are very nice and clean. We have been Broadway Season ticket holders for 3 years now. Great parking. Staff are easy to work with and address any issues. I have asked for easier access seating when the play was held in smaller theatre that required serious step climbing. They were quick to accommodate. Also, worked with us when I was unable to attend on the night of performance due to illness. I recommend the series, location and support of NC THEATRE at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium.

First time coming here. It was for a Broadway night performed by the North Carolina Symphony. They performed a lot of pieces from “The Phantom of The Opera” and absolutely nailed “Music of the Night”! The acoustics were amazing, and The 2 hours flew by like it was 30 minutes. It made for an incredible date night, And I’d definitely come back for another performance!

I don’t know why they bother selling “seats” when no one uses them!!!! I got the best seats available at the time (they day they went on sale!!!), paid over $200.00, drove almost 2 hours, and saw nothing! I love Gary Allan! I’ve seen him in Laughlin, and California! He was awesome as usual! But my entire view was people standing in front of me!! I could stand up but I’m only 5’2 so it didn’t matter. Much as I love Gary, I should have gone to SEE Tyler Farr at the Tarheel in Jville. The bright spot was, the T-shirt guy slipped me a guitar pick for my 15yr old son who is teaching himself guitar!! Thank you!!! It made his night!! You rock!

I really enjoyed the staff who were very polite. My only critique, it will be nice to post signs of direction on the front doors of those that have their tickets & those buying. No need for everyone asking each other where is the line & so forth. It would be great if someone would take a moment to step outside to assure their viewers of 1st time show goers.

Went to see Louis CK. He wants a no phone zone for his show so this place requires EVERYONE to put their phone into a koozie like protective holder (Yondr) and it locks at the top with something that resembles an ink anti theft attachment on stuff in a retail store. On top of that, every single person is individually wanded, front AND back as they enter. I didnt hold up the line to count but I believe there were only 2 or 3 people wanding and 3 or 4 people putting phones in cases. What does this equal? The show starting more than an hour late. You would think you would have more people doing these jobs for 2,000 people coming to a show. Ridiculous line. It is a beautiful facility though. Just poor planning.
