A wonderful concert experience. My biggest gripe is the line for the port-a-potties, but I really appreciated the selection of foods if you wanted to eat while youre here. Its not often you find truck food that caters to a vegan population. The drinks were priced as expected, and the view was great. The sound is also very good.
Their Summer Movie program is awesome. Not expensive and they let you bring food (no drinks/alcohol though). I went and saw Isle of Dogs and you got to bring your own dog as well. It was a great time. Highly recommend checking them out.
This venue was a huge disappointment. We had VIP tickets, but had to park over a mile away from the entrance. When we finally arrived at our reserved table, there were squatters in our seats. To our horror, the hospitality staff then directed the squatters to sit on a ledge directly in front of our table completely blocking our view of the stage. When we complained to the hospitality hostess, her response was “you can stand”. General admission ticket holders were allowed to congregate in front of the stage completely blocking the view for reserved ticket holders who had seats in the first 5 rows. After the concert, the traffic was a disaster and we spend over 60 minutes trying to exit the parking lot. This is a first rate art museum. Too bad it is associated with such a poorly managed concert venue.
Awesome place. Great for shows and concerts. Bathrooms get busy being right next to the stage but relatively clean
While many outdoor venues make their space work for the audience, this venue only serves the smallest of audiences. The stage is only visible to the first few rows of viewers. I suggest that the museum raise the stage 6 feet, this would help more customers enjoy the shows. The portapotties provide a fragrance during the show that is unsettling. The museum should look to Koko Booth amphitheater for assistance in how to upgrade. The musicians, on the otherhand, were wonderful.
Really nice place for a show. Saw Lisa Simone, great night, seats, pricing and well organized.
Great concert venue. Good sound. Food, drinks, and picnicking options available.
So we were here for the Chaka Kahn concert. All seats were great seats. we were in the reserved section, however, there was plenty of lawn space to take advantage of.
Its very enjoyable to see a movie there but the sound is never turned up high enough for you to hear everything.
Such a beautiful outdoor venue! If you have the chance to watch a concert here, you should.
Beautiful surroundings and amazing sound system. Very family friendly.
On Friday September 1st the Amphitheatre presented a remastered copy of the 1968 movie Yellow Submarine. It was a perfect evening to watch a whimsical fairy tail film. I just love the outdoor movie theater at the North Carolina Museum of Art.
Reasonable drink prices, but wish they had liquor drinks as an option.
Nice venue. Able to sit close to the stage.
Quaint little amphitheatre. Great place to see a show.
Awesome concert venue. Watching Chaka Khan right now!
Awesome venue for live concerts ️
Great venue, small and quaint. Can see the performers and interact. Food was mediocre at best but what I should expect at a museum event. Next time Ill either pack a picnic or eat first. Staff was friendly and it wasnt too crowded.
Beautiful venue with a very well maintained lawn, and the acoustics are terrific
Chaka Kahn concert
Fun outdoor theatre with good projection and sound
Great place to see live music.
Beautiful place for a summer show.
Courtney Barnett concert was awesome!
Venue was fine but too many rude people talking during the whole concert
Watch an outdoor movie there. Was a good time
Two words. Spacious and Beautiful.
Definitely one of the best outdoor venues in the triangle.
A great venue for live music.
The Dude abides...
Pleasant outdoor theater for live performances and summer movies.

Excellent!
Great views.
