First, its open! Parking is limited, but, the gate is only to block cars. Short walk to main trail. There is a short trail by the gate.Second, nostalgia reigns with me here. I use to play here with my friends when we were kids. We use to bring our bicycles and ride around the old dump lot. We could make small forts and I found cast iron frying pans which I gave to my mother. She cleaned them and used as decorations. One of my friends father brought his motorcycle ️ and followed us on trails into the forest. The old dump has been cleared away, fenced off and reseeded. A rope swing was attached to a at the trail by the entrance. The current trail runs along Great Bay and abutts other properties. The trail has wood pulp and markers along the whole trail. Unfortunately, there are areas of trash ️ as well. One trail connects to a ball park. You might hear people playing tennis as well as listening to sea birds.Trails are great for jogging, moderate hiking, taking your dog, mountain biking and maybe in the winter, cross country skiing.Bring bug repellent and good walking/hiking shoes. Watch out for thorns! If you want a good short walk, I recommend a visit.

Its a great walk, but not easy to get to. Its fenced in for cars and you have to park away from the trail and then walk over to the trail.

Had our wedding reception here. It was a very pretty September sunny day on the water. Staff was great and food was really good too! They really eased our minds. They kept us on track and did a great job organizing everything.. We chose a buffet and had our parents and our table served. The rest went up by table. I thought that went well. I was proud to be there.. Men this is a good decision. there is a lot of $#^^ out there I know I spent 5 months looking.. So Good Job Sagamore Creek...
