Fun date night! Was a great experience to see real stand up comedians perform! Lots of laughs and enjoyed a few great drinks while there. It was mine and my boyfriends first time going to a comedy club and we didnt know what to expect. The show we saw was sold out and it was a packed room! We were promptly seated and served beverages and food. Absolutely will be back again! Amazing experience and date night!

Come early if you want good seats. Courteous staff. Took awhile to get food. Comedians were funny.

This place has it all.They have plenty of street parking along with a private paid lot around the corner.The inside has a bar area, a dining area, and the actual comedy showroom. The bar area even turns into a karaoke bar.The staff is wonderful. The food is decent for a comedy show. There is a two item minimum and they take it very serious. Plan on everybody ordering two items. The good thing is that the servers work the entire room throughout the comedy show. You dont have to order everything at the very beginning. The drinks can be hit or miss.The comedy was great. They even give out free tickets if you are on their mailing list.

First lets talk about parking.I was able to park right outside the club.My walk in the rain was less than a minute.Once inside, the place was packed with people who were having a good time.We were shown where our seats were.Once we got settled in, our server came and quickly got our orders.Food was decent. But lets be honest I didnt go to a comedy show to critique the food!The opener was funny and did a great job setting the tone for the night. The headliner tonight was absolutely hilarious!5 * kinda night at a 5* kinda place

Pros: Usually a great lineup. Decent food and drinks. Okay service.Con: You’ll never get off the call list. The location is SKETCHY AF.

Always enjoy myself. Come often. Sometimes with a frown on my face but always leave smiling and refreshed. Very welcoming atmosphere. Fast and timely response in service. Frequently get a free show on the house just for them to show their appreciation. Only a one drink minimum.

Good place to go and get some really good laughs in with friends! Ive been a handful of times before. The staff is really helpful and knowledgeable with the drive is and menu options/recommends. Only thing to note is there is a two item minimum purchase per person. The restroom are very clean. Parking is street parking or in a parking lot off site. The max is across the street for those who dont want to drive.

This place was amazing!! Perfect for a special night, I proposed to my future wifey that night, and the employees there went out of their way to make this moment special. Thank you for being apart of this amazing moment for us. It had a great atmosphere, friendly vibes and the customer service was outstanding! I highly recommend going to Harveys if youre in the Portland area.

Harveys is awesome. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Also very accommodating for the disabled. Excellent entertainment. Cant wait for the next visit.

Great comedians, yummy dessert, delicious prickly pear mojito. Server was really nice and kept thanking us for our patience. I didnt see a problem. You dont expect Johnny on the Spot type service at a comedy club. You know theyll get to you and youll get your stuff, which we did, including a second drink. You can tend to forget what good medicine laughter is until you laugh till your gut hurts.

Parking is next door, inside within a minute.We had dinner and drinks, what a great night out. There were 3 comedians that night, the headliner was the funniest. We are planning our next visit next week. Our only mistake was getting there right when the show started, next time we will arrive earlier.

Quaint little hole in the wall kind of place. The comedian added a show for vets and first responders. It was great fun. The service was great.

Had fairly good service. Server forgot my drink. Ford is decent. Got free tickets from a stranger at the booth at the ticket person seemed really annoyed that I wasnt paying. The comedy show was amazing. They were friendly and engaging. Would recommend.

Show & staff were good tonight 12/14.. Probably better than usual since, the late show was only @ almost half capacity.. Regardless, I almost always enjoy the shows here especially, when the performers interact with the crowd, & definitely love the nachos.!

My wife and I have really enjoyed going to Harveys Comedy Club. The times that weve been there the comedians have been great! The food and service is good but the drinks are really good. I would definitely recommend going. It makes for a fun evening!

Opening act was a 6.5 out of 10! Second opening act what is a 1 out of 10. Headliner was terrific. Like the club and will be back just dont have the second guy up again!

Show was great! First 2 comedies were ok but the headliner was hilarious! We ordered the nacho Grande & the prime rib French dip. Both were really good. I do think its a little strange that they have a 2 item minimum that you have to purchase. It wasnt a problem for us & I think most people plan to eat/drink but I dont think you should have to purchase anything. Also be aware that they automatically add a 10% gratuity to your ticket. Overall a great time!

First time going. Great atmosphere, lively crowd, funny comics, reasonably priced food and drinks.SN - Im from the East coast. I know, in general, a lot of West coast comedy tends to be more political, witty and high brow. The comics last night were not that! Definitely more raw, shooting from the hip, which I prefer and appreciate.

Was disappointed that they gave our table away. They were able to accommodate us when we arrived, our party had to be split up. Ordered Nachos, toppings and chips arrived on separate plates with hot topping ingredients on bottom and a ton of shredded lettuce, olives, and jalapenos on top. The two item minimum is pretty bogus if you dont drink and have a gluten intolerance. Dont think Ill be making another trip here.

The food was very poor. We ordered a nacho plate for $13.50. It is the worst excuse for nachos Ive ever seen. Ive had better nachos at Taco Bell. Ive had better nachos when Ive drunkenly made them at 3am. First off, the cheese was just melted into the plate. Not even warm, just a sheet of previously melted cheese. Lettuce and flavorless tomatoes on the top with some generic guacamole. Chips came on the side, with pizza sauce instead of salsa.. requiring a 20% tip.. If you come here, come for the comedy not the food.

It was just comfortable to be in and the comedians there were surprisingly funny I had a little problem with my food and they were happy to fix it clean atmosphere clean bathrooms and did anybody know that there secret tunnels under the bar?

Omygosh! This place was so fun. I laughed my heart out! Food was good too! Guest comedian was Chris Farleys older brother. He rocked the house along with 2 other fellow comedians. Best date night with my hubby and 2 friends. We all loved it. You should so check this place out!

Harveys is a great historical spot with great comedians coming through literally every week! I love coming here to get away from my mundane habits during the work week

Good comedians but beware if you have a party of 8 or more. They add 20% service charge to everyones bill.

The wife and I got the 10pm deluxe dinner package and show. The dinner was excellent and the show was a lot of fun. The crowd at 10 pm was smaller then usual. All in all it was a great value for our buck. We look forward to returning for more shows.

Excellent comedians, funny as always and relaxing atmosphere. Edible snacks and food. My wife enjoyed the drinks as well.

I saw a show here. The layout is a little strange. But the show was good. Not much to be said. I think they over-crowd it a bit, and if there is ever a serious fire.... people will for sure die. There is no easy or quick means of egress

The comedians were so funny! The lady at the box office selling tickets was great but the serving staff was very poor. It took about 45 minutes for us to get drinks and not very friendly. The show was amazing.

The main comic is always great. They do have a 2 drink minimum per person. Which just turns into a minimum per table. I would rather pay a cover than be forced to drink. We went with my father in law and he did not feel like drinking, so my husband and i had to pound 3 drinks each. Weve been here several times and know the deal, I just think it would be nice to have the option to pay for the cover rather than be forced to drink.

Headliners are always fantastic, openers always are good for 2-3 good laughs lol, service is average on Saturday nights due to amount of patrons sometimes, but its Harveys!!!! Always a 5!!!!!!

Always a good time! Only recommendation is to go to the bar for drink service. We only saw our server once during the show and we were seated for 2.5 hours.

Area could feel safer at night-BUT-the staff was nice, show and drinks were high quality and you can get a great last-minute up-close center stage seat if you have a someone under 21 with you.

Ive heard over 1000 different live comedy shows, so it take a good joke to make me laugh this guy had good jokes.

Tonight was fantastic! All three comedians were really funny with different routines that all went really well together! Im definitely going to come back and bring my friends!

Worth the ticket price. Ahmed Ahmed is da bomb. Pun intended. Just dont eat the rice. I wish other customers respected the no talking rule that is clearly stated by staff and comedians throughout the show. Still didnt deter all the comedians from killing us with laughter.

The last few times we have been there the crowd noise has made it very unpleasant. They really need to keep the table talk down because it makes it hard to hear the comedian.

I had an amazing time there! The opener was okay but the headliner was freaking HILARIOUS! A guy by the name of Jimmy Schubert. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as I went with a group of us that was about 13 people deep and had no problems being seated together. The food was recently priced Id say matching the quality of it. There is a 2 drink minimum you have to buy from them plus ticket prices from my understanding. With that said it was absolutely well worth every penny because I left there with a smile on my face and my sides hurting from laughing so hard. I CANT WAIT to go back! Dont pass up any opportunity to go!

Always laugh - fun place to enjoy great entertainment! Be patient for drinks and food because the wait staff attends to an entire room of people that are all seated in a few short minutes. Go early and grab a drink in the bar then carry it in with you!

The comedians are very funny and i havent seen one i didnt like. However the male bar staff there are very rude and seem to hate their job, while the female bar staff on the other side are very friendly and accommodating. The food is not great.

Good food, good drinks and good comics. The showroom was clean and comfortable wait staff was friendly and the night all together was enjoyable. We did think the showroom was too warm and that the music playing before the show started was too loud, but those are minor issues.I know when I was looking this place up, it was hard to tell but you can order food from your table. The wait staff is busy so dont expect them to stop by often. Our waitress came by maybe 4 times, the first before the show and the last as it was ending to settle up bills. That was enough to order drinks, order food, get refills and pay up.

I enjoyed it here. The servers where very nice. The food that i ate was really good. The comedians where pretty funny. Had a good time over all. Will go back in near future.

Great place for a group of friends to get together and attend. Staff are always friendly and return with your order quickly. Food is good, drinks are tasty without being overly powerful. Prices are decent. Making the whole overall experience a plus. Im always up for going to a show and Im always looking for friends who want to join us or who havent yet the privilege of attending a live show.

Tonight we found out that we will never be back to Harveys again! From the food to the drinks(and bartender) the experience was much less than stellar. I might expect that from an upstart, but not an establishment that has such a long, rich history as a premier, local comedy club. Very disappointing, so unfortunate.

The comedians were 5 stars but the food and service was so terrible I gave it a 3. We ordered the fish and chips and prime rib. 45 mins after we ordered the waitress came back saying they were out of fish and chips my husband ordered a cheeseburger since they were out.... an hour later she came with the burger 15 or 20 mins after that she said they were out of prime Rib!!!! LAME!!

I used to love going to Harveys. But lately they seemed to have lost something. I still think that if I was going here now, for the first time, I would have enjoyed myself and wanted to come back. But, knowing how good they was in the past, it taints my opinion.

The stand up comedy was pretty good the food prices were stupid and the food was not good. My food came late apparently they had dropped it on the floor and had to remake it... when I got it it was burnt... Two out of three of my chicken strips were Gristle and the last one was undersized. Not worth the $13. Also there online menu prices were old and did not reflect their current price. the comedy was okay though

Meh. Service was terrible, drinks were worse. My drink came in a dirty glass with the ice melted after waiting 30 minutes! We ordered before the show and didn’t get them until the headliner was coming up! I’m pretty sure the waitress just poured my drink out of the dirty glass into a clean glass. Not likely to return unless a great comedian was there.The comedian that night was good though

I have been to this club so many times. Tonight was just as fun as the last 5 times. Jake was a fun bartender. Super up beat and attentive. In the showroom, things can get kinda busy or hectic, so dont be shy. If you need something, politely flag down the wait staff. Theyre happy to help and usually pretty quick about getting it to you.Remember to fill out your comment cards!!! Its not just the $30 gift card at the end of the show that you MIGHT get. Its the text message in a month or so that says you have free tickets to one of their shows for you and up to 12 of your closest friends. I dont even mind the 2 item min (one drink, one food, or two drinks). Still one of my favorite places to go with friends.

Over priced food & drinks. Auto service charges made it difficult to appropriately tip wait staff. Comedy wasnt good enough tho make up for the over worked wait staff.

We love this place. Some nights are better than others of course. We connect more with some comedians than others. The food is not great and is over priced. We know this but love the show. Reese at the bar in the dining room is amazing and will always take care of you. Staff for the most part is very friendly and inviting.

It gets super over crowded so get there ahead of time for a good seat! The comedians are great though and the staff is friendly. I really enjoy coming to the shows. Also you can get free tickets but you will have to order drinks and or food but they make good drinks and good food so its worth it.

If i could give it a zero star i would. The comics were Awsome but the guy running the place is a complete worthless pos. I dont necessarily want to go into the details of the interactions but i will never be back to this place
