I ended up taking their 101, 201 and 301 classes after seeing a few live performances (which is a hilarious way to spend an evening BTW) and I can honestly say its been one of the best and most rewarding experiences Ive had in the Pacific NW! So much fun and such great people. You will develop comedic timing, learn to create interesting characters, and get a deeper understanding of comedy! What a blast, thanks CSZ!!!

If you love the show Whose Line Is It Anyway than you will love this energetic improv with props and funny sound effects! There is crowd improvement and the winners are all chosen by the audience. This is a fun, cheap outing for the whole family!

Hidden gem! The space is down-home but the laughs are for real. I wish Id known about this place sooner! The experience was very unexpected. Bring your friendliest friend and go in a good mood, there will be opportunities for audience participation (nothing embarrassing, and you wont be singled out unless you want to be). Recommend staying for the late shows, it can get pretty magical.

Great adult improv classes offered here. Not only a great time, but the skills transfer very well to work and life. These classes provide a safe environment to learn new tools for listening, creative problem solving, team work, and public speaking and performance. And did I mention it is just a freaking great time. Place adults can go to laugh and feel free and like a kid again.

Comedy sportz is a small, unassuming building that is filled with the wildest two hour improvised ride of your life. Ive been there three times now and every time was different and hilarious. The teams are all so great and friendly and they make you want to just go back the next night. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to laugh so hard their ribs hurt

OMG it was a great effort from the performers, but at times it felt like ‘amateur night’ at a high school competition. The laughs came sporadically, but the chairs are horrible, the place is small and dark, and whomever plays the referee blew that whistle like her life depended on it, super loud and super obnoxious (do not bring anyone on the spectrum because it’s very disturbing). She seemed to blow on the whistle out of nervousness cuz she would forget what to say or get stuck... OK for children an adults used to hanging out with children and young adults (jokes were not only PG 13 but more like kindergarten appropriate). Would I go back? No Never Jamás Nunca Ni que estuviera loca...

We thought the improvisation was really good. Its an up-close-and-personal type experience. Reasonably priced concessions. It was a real enjoyable evening. If you sign up for their newsletter they will send you two free tickets for your birthday. We would definitely go again. The after show on the night that we were there was a dud but that doesnt mean they all are. Next time I would change my seat for the after-show so I could sneak out if it wasnt any good

Comedysportz is always an excellent time. Many might shy away because it is improv and family friendly in nature but I can tell you I have been here many times as an adult and always leave having laughed much of the time.The service is always exceptional as well, from ticketing to day of service I couldnt recommend a comedy venue more!

Ive been going to this since the 90s. The comedy sports shows are fun for adults and fine for families. Afterwards there is often another show that is a little more grown up. Love the people and the kids love it too. Last year when my son was 11 he was complaining and worried it wouldnt be fun, but ever since we went hes been asking to go back. Ill be going back soon I just keep forgetting to do it. But its worth it and fun.

Interactive experience, good for the whole family, nice clean content, everybody has a good seat and its a small space so everyone can participate if they want to

Tonight was my first time coming here. I laughed my butt off. It seems like a family friendly atmosphere, the people there were all awesome and it was just a great environment. I will be coming back soon!

The shows are always hilarious, good-natured, and family-friendly. Ive taken classes here, too, which may or may not have made me funnier (testing this on my children has produced mixed results), but they definitely taught me skills for overcoming my inner critic that apply to my everyday life. My teenage son just completed a summer camp and loved it, too. The people here are incredibly supportive and positive. I just cant say enough good things.

If you like Whose Line Is It Anyway, youll love this. Try to participate! Its more fun if you contribute .

Not the best improv Ive ever seen, but the people here have obvious joy in their performance, camaraderie and chemistry among themselves. Very funny people, family friendly comedy, and a great time for everybody. Stay for the after hours shows if you can (though be warned: theyre a little more PG-13 than PG).

This was a fun and different place to visit! Its like Whos Line is it Anyway with a mix of Wildin out. Its a clean humor fun evening. We loved it but it was a little cold and the seating wasnt ideal.

When I walked in I was expecting very little, but they greatly exceeded expectations and were fun and hilarious.

I highly recommend the improv 101 class with Patrick- a fun introduction to short form improv.

Really funny stuff and family friendly. They totally go for it, sometimes its a miss, but when they get in a roll tgey are really funny. Get on their mailing list and get deals from time to time and birthday specials in your birthday month.

Today is Monday, we went to the show sat night and my ribs still hurt! The kids improve was awesome!

Ive taken friends and family to Comedy Sportz several times over the years and each time it was a treat. Family friendly and engaging, its a must for anyone that enjoys comedy or even film. Lots of variety, with real people. Then with a walk down to NW 23rd you can grab a treat at Salt and Straw, or hit dinner beforehand at the many great eateries within a few block radius.

The corporate team-building is a fun way to learn about how we work together as individuals and as a team. Patrick came out to our campus for a quarterly staff meeting and our group enjoyed it. If you do this, expect to be taken out of your typical role and have a few laughs.

We had so much fun at comedy sportz! It was so refreshing not to have to deal with lewd off-color humor that so often comes with comedy. The players were witty and clever and had us laughing the entire night. I am looking forward to our next visit!
