Beautiful trail full of dense fields of wildflowers and sweeping vistas of snow covered mountains in the background all along the trail. The trail is a pretty easy grade and intersects with a trail going up Mt. Angeles. If youre up for a challenge try going up Mt. Angeles and youll be greeted by a breathtaking view over top of the clouds.

Beautiful! Be sure to hike down the middle of the trail and see the old ski patrol shack and the lift lines.

We had 2,000 feet of elevation gain on the switchback trail In 1.6 miles, but the wildflowers were magnificent! It was great up on the ridge, but the clouds came in and blocked our view of the Strait of Juan De Fuca and Vancouver Island. Otherwise it was an awesome hike!!

Steep climbs up the switchbacks but the panoramic view is well worth it. When hiking remember to stay on the trails, it’s a high use trail and the wildflower filled meadows are very fragile and can be damaged if they are stepped on or walked through. Leave this place as beautiful as you found it and enjoy it, it’s well worth the trip!
