The Druid Monument reflects the 160 year presence of the fraternal society of the United Ancient Order of the Druids here in California.

If you are driving, you might drive past and never see it. It is a tribute to Placerviilles Druidic roots.

Such a lovely landmark, definitely was interesting seeing them and reading about them.

Nice stone work and it was pretty clean

Its a pole in middle of the road. It has a cool stained glass flame on top.

Unfortunate placement, its in the middle of a very busy intersection. No way to get a good picture unless you Dodge traffic and stand in the middle of the road. No historical back ground except what is on the monument, which is difficult to read because of placement.

Excellent place to visit. Enjoyed the moment.

Loved it. Will be going back
